THIS CHRISTMAS HE'D HAVE TO PLAY SANTA IN DISGUISE
Federal agent Matt Christensen hadn't planned on spending Christmas Eve dodging bullets. He hadn't planned on fatherhood, either. But when he discovered he had a daughter, Matt vowed he'd do anything to find her— including cozying up to a beautiful murder suspect with dangerous connections.
To get inside the isolated West Texas compound of a known criminal, Matt needed Cassandra Harrison's contacts. But could he ignore the other needs Cass brought to mind? She was vulnerable and soft...almost innocent. With an arsenal of gunmen intent on crushing his Christmas mission, he'd have to protect them both if they wanted to survive the cold, cold night and bring his baby home for the holidays.

The action in this book was nonstop. Alana was kidnapped and kept as a prisoner after she delivered her son Joey. The kidnappers kept her drugged. She somehow found the strength to get away and make it to the police station. Jack was the town sheriff. He was the one that saved Alana 8 months ago when her car went over a bridge. He got her to the hospital just in time for her to have her son. He adopted Joey when Alana just left the hospital, and her son. Having Alana turn up now is hard. He is not willing to give up the baby he calls his son. One thing is for certain, Jake will always defend the law, and protect those that need his protection, even Alana.
There are so many suspects in this book, that I had no idea who was behind the kidnapping, or attacks. Someone wanted Alana dead. This was a excellent book with suspense, action, and romance.
