This devotional presented short messages about different names for God that are used throughout the Bible! I was familiar with most, but I did learn some new names that I hadn’t heard before. That being said, I think this devotional is targeted more for Christians who are just discovering who God is, as many of the descriptions and corresponding messages don’t go too deep. The downside of this is that I didn’t feel like my thinking was greatly challenged.

As the book walked you through each name of God, there were related verses that were very helpful. I think this was my favorite part of the devotional, because it allowed me to see all the connections throughout the span of the Bible regarding titles given to God.
