Fandom: Harry Potter
Relationships: Draco Malfoy/Harry Potter, Hermione Granger/Ron Weasley, Padma Patil/Pansy Parkinson

This is a summery romantic comedy featuring my favourite ensemble cast, in which Harry is confused, Draco is Draco, and Hermione attempts to eat all the things.

A stand-alone, getting-together story, with many characters (Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Blaise, Luna, Neville, Pansy, Padma, Molly, Arthur, many new ones, too).

I got bored at the quiz-night, even more at the clothes-shopping scenes, though later turned out these scenes had a purpose.

I usually love the author’s works, but this one was disappointing.

Really cute story about Harry, who is hopelessly in love with Draco, who has no clue. Set after the way, most of the ones left in their Hogwarts age group are now friends, even the Slytherins, and they throw regular themed get togethers, which were so much fun to read.

Sara's Girl

Tropes:
– Draco/Harry fanfiction
– Friends to lovers

Harry's not really attracting suitors with his good fashion sense. Even if the only suitor he really wants is named Draco Malfoy. So fine, he'll go to a fancy store with a tailor who can make him perfect clothes.

This was cute enough but I definitely like the winter/Christmas ones better!

An entertaining fic. It really is basically the fluffy!verse all grown up. Slytherins and Gryffindors are all friends, and entertain themselves by throwing differently-themed costume parties. Ron and Hermione are married, and Hermione is very pregnant. Harry works restoring houses and is rather shlubby in how he dresses still. He's totally crushing on Draco, and Draco's totally oblivious.

One of the costume party themes is for the friends to all dress up as one of their friends. When several people come as Harry, messy hair, ratty, pain-spattered clothes and all, Harry has a wake-up call. He decides to work on improving the way he presents himself, sort of in the back of his mind with the hope of perhaps getting Draco's attention. He goes to a men's clothing shop and ends up over time becoming friends with the man who helps him select his new wardrobe.

Several fun elements here that I've not seen in other fics before.

Favorite Quotes:
"I think I've had too much to drink," Hermione says faintly.
"You haven't had anything to drink," Harry points out.
"Oh, good. I'm just going mad, then."

"We went to one of those all-you-can-eat Chinese places last night and he got full before I did. I honestly think he's a little bit shaken by it."

"And not once have I allowed myself to hope that you could like the person that I actually am."

Lovely!
Fantastic gatherings with all the characters we know and love, as well as new additions. Harry is hopeless in heart matters as usual and Draco is perfection in every detail.
I'm not 100% committed to the idea of Cal, it felt sometimes a bit forced, but the read was highly enjoyable! Stayed up late to finish it!

This was a sweet little fic by a favorite author of mine! Harry pines for Draco but though the two travel in similar social circles and both are single, Draco appears to be unaware/uninterested. Harry decides to spruce himself up, partly for himself but partly to gain Draco’s notice. Harry makes a connection with one of the salesmen in the men’s clothing store and goes back time and again to buy clothes sometimes even when he doesn’t really need anything. The two men get to know one another while in the background Harry tries and fails to attract Draco. I lamented that the two men didn’t have many ‘scenes’ together so I wasn’t enjoying this fic as much. Then I realized what the author was up to-curveball! I’m not sure if it’s the exact same character but a similar character was featured in Turn by this author so I didn’t suspect a thing when the big reveal happened-and I’m not sure if I liked the revelation. It seemed a bit contrived and slightly OOC. I wanted to go back and reread the story with the new knowledge in my mind and see if things fit better, but never got around to it. Cute fic, think I am not going to overthink this one and just say I enjoyed it!
