Billionaire: Complete Set is by Juliette Jones. This is the complete set, parts one through seven, of this series. This is a revised edition from it’s original release. Ladies, turn up those fans for this one. It is melt your face off hot! You will meet Lila and Alexander, two people that when they meet, they experience the most intense, bone deep attraction for one another possible. A need so fierce they have trouble grasping the reality of it. A need that will either bond them forever or burn them to a crisp.

fans herself

Lila Carmichael graduated from Princeton in just three years. She is in New York now ready to put that education to work. Her roommate treated her to a complete make over in preparation for an important job interview. An interview that Lila feels like she is under-qualified for but it will be good experience to go anyway. It is for assistant to the CEO, Alexander Wolfe, of Skyscraper magazine, the “it” magazine of the year. This job would be perfect for her, she could learn so much. Lila has a dark past, a past no one even knows all the details of. A past that motivated her to get her education and make something of herself. But a past that has left it’s scars.

.

Alexander Wolfe just recently made the Billionaire list. He doesn’t just own Skyscraper magazine, but an empire of other businesses as well. Alexander also has a past that has motivated him to where he is now. A past that has made him fiercely protective of anyone he cares about, namely his younger brother, Jake. Alexander has never felt the need to become involved with a woman. He’s had women, yes, but only for sex. But when Lila walked into his office, something happened. Something he will never be able to explain. He needed her just as he needed his next breath to survive. If he didn’t touch her he would surely die.

“I was new at this, but I felt like I’d found my calling. When it came to having sex with Alexander Wolfe, I was a natural.”

Moet Champagne

Lila came to New York innocent. She wore frumpy clothes so as not to call attention to herself. She kept to herself, studied and made something of herself. But with Alexander, she found herself thrust into a life she never imagined. A life full of the finest things, the best champagne, the finest clothes, everything you could ever want at your fingertips. But all she really wanted was Alexander. Over the coming days, they were never out of reach of one another. They existed in a sort of bubble. Then he whisked her off to Paris and showed her sights she never thought she’d see.

“I was swept away by him and I could feel that. But I had no idea how to slow that down or to even the scales. Or even if I wanted to.”

“Our bond had begun with a rampant sexual attraction beyond reason. And now it was blooming into something else altogether. Something equally as powerful and just as urgent.”

Paris view.

But along with the growing bond Alexander felt towards Lila came an obsessiveness, a need to protect her at all costs, a need to have her close. He kept thinking it would calm down the more they were together but it got stronger. The thought of her being away from him took his breath away.

“Possession. Ownership. Control. There was no doubt that Alexander had gained all of this and more. I was his and I wanted to be his. But I also wanted to be mine. And I could feel, at the outer periphery of what was happening here, that I was unsure about the distinction.

I was being swept away by him and I could feel that. But I had no idea how to slow that down or to even the scales. Or even if I wanted to.”

Anticipation...

This book…just Wow! The intense sexual attraction between Lila and Alexander melted me into a puddle of goo. It might seem unrealistic that Lila went from nothing to non-stop sex with Alexander but their bond was nothing normal. It was something most only dream of ever finding. But as their bond deepened, they shared their secrets. But those dark pages of our pasts sometimes find a way to come back to the surface and haunt us when we least expect it. And that’s exactly what happened. There was a fine line between lust, love, and obsession. And in the intensity of their relationship, those lines were crossed. The question is, will they be strong enough to come back from that, or will that hot flame burn them up to a crisp?

This book comes to a complete end but Alexander and Lila’s story is continued in Honey Girl. Then you can read Jake’s story in Jake.

“I wanted Alexander like I wanted air and sunlight. Safety and life. I wanted to immerse myself in the haven of all that he was.”

(DNF)

In the hopes of reading something that is similar to Fifty Shades of Grey I tried to read this but I did not like the book at all. Everything was so unrealistic.

*may contain spoilers and unpleasant opinions below*

Lila is an innocent and a virgin, but she abruptly had sex with the stranger billionaire Alexander during their FIRST ENCOUNTER when she was interviewed by him at his office. Without any inhibition.

During their sex they did not use condom.

Lila is a virgin but she's already good at it. Wow!

And... The guy goes down on her and she has period. Ew!

I swear, I actually felt some of my brain cells die while reading this book. It is absolutely ridiculous how much I hated this book. But first off...

I have nothing against sex.

Seriously, I don't care how you get your rocks off. How you get it off or how often it happens. All I require is some depth, some character dialogue.... SOMETHING

Okay. So we started off with a girl going in for a job interview. The person who was supposed to interview her had something come up so she ends up interviewing with the CEO (50 shades much?)

It's instant attraction on both their parts OMG - She is beautiful. OMG - He is the sexiest thing ever.

Since that is all that is needed. LETS FUCK

The story proceeds to read like this:

OMG she was a virgin

I didn't wear a condom

When is your next period

Gosh, I'm so horny.

Sex.
Sex.
Sex. On table in front of friends

*insert gross scene where billionaire CEO eats the girl out while on her period and says he metallic taste is the best things he's has since butter on toast* VOMIT

Man I haven't had his peen in my mouth yet, wouldn't it be nice if he let me suck his cock?

Sex.
Sex.
Sex, with two other woman rubbing oil on each other.
Anal
Sex

Wait am I his assistant? Cause I haven't worked a day in two weeks. I'm just fucking him so he's sort of paying me for sex, right? Does that make me a whore? Oh Fuck no I didn't go to college to spend my days on my back (yeah, well you could have fooled me sweetheart)

Sex.
Sex.
Sex
Sex
Sex

Mhm, who cares if I'm a whore, that was fantastic!

No wait I'm a college graduate

Never mind I just want sex.

That, right there, is pretty much a summary of the entire book. There's next to no character development. By like the third day they are SOOOO in love. There's actually no emotional growth.

*Book provided my NetGalley in exchange for honest review*

yeah thank god, cause I wouldn't have read it otherwise

No, No, NO, NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I'm really sorry to say this because I got the ARC from the author and we had a nice little chat about the possibility of me hating it and ripping the book a new one...

Well, I'm sorry to say the worst case scenario has arrived and I can't even tell you how wrong this all was. I'm not even sure how I made it this far. In my defense I tried for the author, but I can't waste my time any longer.

If you want to know why it was so aweful just scroll down and read my status updates...I don't think I have anything more to add.

1,5 Stars.
So sorry to say it, but this book is a trainwreck.
And that's sad because it could have been better..
Well it wasn't.

I know there was sex, i think there was a story, but i'm still not very sure about it.
All this ludicrous and unbelievable situations, sex scene after sex scene and then some sex on top of that, had my mind hazy and blurry.

Alexander and his honey girl, Lila had a nice start. Really enjoyable and nicely written. Two chapters in, Lila -the virgin- had her legs spread for Alexander, only minutes after her job interview went pretty well.

So, sex on a couch, sex on a plane, sex on everything, and then some of it infront of people. I won't even start describing the poker table sex scene, but the worst by far was this circus involving Monique and Mia.. Monique was repulsive and the way she described everything made me eye rolling so much, i think at some point i lost the eyeball on my left side.

Anyway the drama was laughable and the only thing i liked was Alexander's dark past and of course Jake. Jake actually had my interest picked right away.

THOUGHTS ABOUT THE BOOK

- The writing wasn't bad at all, but the story had many flaws.
- Lila is a TSTL character.
- Alexander was a macho man.
- I think Lila cared too much about all the things he provided to her and not truly about him.
- We are also talking about the biggest insta-love ever.
- Lila has no self respect. Firstly she let's him buy her a ton of things and then she declares her independence. UGH!

Alright I struggled with this book and got to 32% then DNF'd so I'm not rating, I rarely do this but I struggled to continue I feel kind of bad being that I got an ARC but I just couldn't connect to this story anyway here are my reasons:

1. We start this story with sexy, innocent Lila she's studied hard and ended up at an interview with Billionare Alexander Wolfe where they can't see straight and end up in bed together....

 photo 2CEA0AA4-6C49-410C-9D76-75ACCE1834E8_zps1kvvwc6h.jpg

2. This was one smexy scene to the next sex.sex.sex and although I enjoy my smuty reads I just need some sort of connection, a story line I felt there to be none, I couldn't connect to the characters I felt especially Lila was immature

 photo 2AA4FF27-3901-46D1-99E6-D61E41471F07_zps0d8tacty.jpg

3. I felt like I was in a haze and unable to grasp what was going on, there was men talking around Lila but all she could concentrate was her wet panties, actually there were no panties sorry to be frank here.

 photo PantiesNotOption_zps579c2ecf.gif

4. I love to be captivated by the stories I read and even when they're short and smuty and yes some are unrealistic I still enjoy them but I NEED SOMETHING here there was no chemistry, no form of work leading to the goal again nadda... straight from one scene to the next.

5. Saying all this the authors writing is exquisite and I do believe if there was more of a plot, more character development, and chemistry between them I do think this has the potential to be a great read, I'm sorry and this may work for some just not for me...

If you know me, you know I like my books sizzling! I definitely got that here but to tell the truth I think this book suffered a bit for me because of the lack of storyline. For me the story line picked up at around the 70% mark or so, this is when I was totally captured by the characters and grew to like them a whole lot more.

Let me make myself clear here, 3 stars for me means that I did in fact like this book. The story line near the end was so good that it raised my rating. I WILL be reading the second part, Honey Girl in the very near future because, YES, I want to know what will happen between Alexander and Lila.

WARNING... COINTAINS BIG SPOILERS... AND SOME "HARSH" OPINION

As a DNF I will not rate.

I have many books to read. Until now I only have read some on this genre.
But Jeez... this was a first!!!

With this book... or you love it... or you really hate it!?
But might be there a third option... the...

 photo wthdean_zps081d5379.gif

Yeah!! WTF?

I was presented to a "innocent" girl... who was new in New York... had finished her college degree, was looking for a opportunity in a big company, meets the CEO (BTW... WAS HOT)... and bla bla bla.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind to read the same old story, I DON'T! Actually, I kind of apreciate it!
But please... WTF?

Let's get straight... this book is just sex!! If you want to read about it... this is the ideal one!
But don't introduce me to a "innocent" girl... and when you gonna see.... bummmm!! It doesn't make sense! I'm sorry...

I'm not saying the way it is written it isn't good... but doesn't make sense to me.
Too quick... the wrong characters to this story!

5 Hot, Very Naughty, Very Dirty Stars

OK, so I was graciously given another ARC by this very talented author and as usual, I LOVED it.

This series was completely over the top, lol, and I do say that in a very complimentary way, too, it was filled with insta-love, insta-lust, very, very dirty kinky and naughty sex but oh my, was it done so damn right!!!!! And PS there was A LOT of sex and yes, it was supposed to be that way, too, I do love these as they are fast, light, no-nonsense reads and for me it was just easy to get lost in!!!! Wowza, it had my Kindle ready to go up in flames and left me squirming in my seat with my panties all in a wet bunch:)

I cannot wait to read Honey Girl because this book apparently follows this very wicked and delicious couple Alexander and Lila and I can't wait to see more of them:) I also love that I got a glimpse into the very delicious and naughty Jake and will be dying for his story too in the near future!!!!!

Congrats Author Juliette Jones, I am hooked!!!!!!!!

SCALDING...LIKE RAGING HELLFIRE! 4.5 STAR

I was stunned, dazed and completely overcome with dizzying effect of this spin left me. It's a tale of a young, beautiful, intellectually gifted Princeton graduate, Lila, innocent and a virgin; her surviving the most hideous, unspeakable nightmare through the hands of wicked people, finding a way out, getting on top and still be sane. It is also the story of sinfully handsome Alexander Wolfe, shrewd but wise, logical and rational, a CEO of Wolfe Enterprise at age 32; whose made it his mission to save his younger brother Jake, from a sickening experience and make the world a better place for him to live in.

I'm really torn how to rate this book for several reasons and I'm going to rate each one of my concern.

1. I enjoy reading erotica, I think hot sex scenes adds spice to it, having said that, too much of the same, repetitive sex scenes gets meaningless and you end up skimming. (3 star )
2.There's some inconsistencies I couldn't ignore, Lila being an innocent virgin turning into an insatiable nymphomaniac-like in a blink of an eye. In a perpetual state of arousal, she initiated an "unforgettable obscene poker game scene" that left a sour taste in my mouth. ( 1 star )
3. Alexander Wolfe's getting insanely jealous and having fisticuffs with his beloved brother Jake did not sit well with me. Also, as possessive as he is and protective of Lila, he allowed that "disturbing scene" to happen and participated on it. ( 1 star )
4. The kind of love Alexander has for Lila and the desire to keep her safe and happy is worthy and admirable. His love for his brother Jake drives him to do everything he can to protect and keep him safe and out of trouble is venerable. ( 5 star )
5. Lastly, the last quarter of the book and the ending tugged at my heart, sweet and swoon worthy! ( 5 star )

At the very least, it kept me glued in, drew me in and kept me there and I'm still thinking about it and seems to follow me around. Barring that "one particular scene" that's quite dismaying, this would have been a perfect 5 star for me and I recommend it.

I really don't even know if I can put into words how I feel about this book. If you are looking for hot sex, then this is for sure the book for you. The problem is that may be all that you get out of it.....let me explain...

The story starts out with Lila, right out of Princeton, new make-over, and applying for a new job. She's pretty sure that the odds of her getting the job are slim, but she's going for it anyway. The second she walks into Alexander Wolfe's office everything changes. He is, by far, the most gorgeous man she has ever seen, but it's not even that. She has this instant pull toward. Her body has taken over and she seems to have lost all control of herself. Little does she know Alexander feels the exact same way. But she won't have to wait long to find that out. To her astonishment she gets the job, and a whole lot more to go along with it. Leaving it to seem that the job is mostly forgotten and basic animal instincts are all that either party can think about.

okay, so the blurb of this story had me. It sounded awesome, my exact kind of read. I was offered the ARC and jumped into it as soon as I could. I wanted to love it, I really did. To the point, I fought myself with urge to DNF but kept on no matter what. For one, I'm OCD about not finishing books. I've never not finished a book and didn't want to start here, but also I did something I never do, and read a few reviews prior to finishing the book. There I saw where people had said it got better at a certain point so I pushed on to see what happened. And even though it did get better, I still couldn't love it.

For starters, Lila was a virgin. When she meets Alexander to APPLY FOR A JOB, she's all about her career, and how she had beat all odds and got a degree at Princeton. Okay, so for me it was unbelievable that a girl that had wore glasses, and baggy clothes and says to herself how she had dressed that way on purpose to DEFLECT male attention, shows up to an interview sans bra and panties. Then goes on to get the job and in the very next sentence is losing her virginity on a desk. I'm talking ...

"You're hired."
"Kiss me."
BOW CHICKA WOW WOW.......

There are times when I can love this insta-love stuff in books. But it has to be believable, and this just didn't seem to be FOR ME!!! But this isn't the only circumstance. Newly De-virginized Lila, then goes on to have a marathon sex-a-thon with her new boss. Like, 7 times in the first night. Not to mention, the conversation they *clears throat* DON'T have about birth control and the whole de-virginizing. It went a little something like....

"You were a virgin?"
(That's it, no conversation, it skips ahead.) Then...

"Are you on the pill?"
"No."
(Wait, what???)

Then these two crazy love-birds are so wrapped up in each other they can't even have a normal dinner out with Alexander's brother without thinking about climbing each other and getting it on even if he sits there and watches. To sum it all up, this book was a sex marathon including a somewhat orgy on a poker table, the famous silver balls were to blame, lol, sex in a booth in a public restaurant, and some anal play with the help of some special massaging overly helpful guests.

With all that being said, it's not that I hated the book. It did pick up. I just felt that with maybe a little less sex, (I know, I'm shocked I've said that too)and some more dialogue and maybe a little more storyline it could have been a better read. For me, when all the characters do is hump each others brains out and never have even a conversation, I'm sorry but I get bored. HAHA, I mean yes at first it was hot, I never said it wasn't HOT, just so many times you're finally like okay, give me some story to make me fall in love with the characters instead of just intense lust.

okay, so yes, I struggled with this book, but I pulled through and finished and even gave it another star for all the drama that happened. I didn't get to write my review yesterday and started book 2 last night. Already 70 something pages in, and I'll go ahead and say much better story line. They are still hot for each other but working on tamping it down and living like normal civilized people who still manage to go to work, have conversations with other people in the world and even, GASP, eat, hahaahahahaha. I'm just playing but yes I am liking book 2 much better.

*I received a free review copy via Netgalley in return for my honest opinion*

"His engorged shaft jerked riotously inside me, flooding me with his hot, liquid satisfaction. The gushing surges jetted against a sensitive trigger inside me, renewing my orgasm before it had even begun to abate, prolonging it into deep, radiating waves of bliss that found me writhing and wriggling against his big, driving body."

You know sometime you need a darker read, sometimes you need something that will give you happy butterflies, sometimes you need something that leaves you in floods of tears and sometimes you just need some smut. The Billionaire series is perfect to deliver a healthy dollop of smut.

I read this as one complete story, which suits me better than faffing around with downloading each part separately. Each part dragged me in and kept me reading avidly and there was a plot in there amid all of the sexing, albeit the impressively young, self made millionaire is tamed by one look at a naive young woman plot that wasn't particularly original.

Alexander Wolfe, our billionaire interviews Lila to be his assistant. Lila is persuaded by her more worldly-wise roomie to attend the interview sans undercrackers and bra (like you do), as this will apparently make her seem more sophisticated or something. He asks her a couple of questions (I can't recall what, sorry), her nipples are like chapel hat pegs, he has a hard-on and before you can say "what are the benefits of working here?" she's straddling him. Naked.

She got the job.

They quickly become obsessed with one another, he doesn't let her out of his sight, she can't bear to be away from him. He sweeps her away to Paris and dotes on her, buying her clothes and jewellery and pandering to her every whim, having sex every couple of pages. Did I mention there's lots of smut in this?

As you'd expect, there's some drama towards the end plus a few kinky scenes involving other guys (his employees - I can't imagine how that wouldn't be awkward when she begins working with him) and two women who give her a sensual rub down with massage oil, plus an outrageous bit of exhibitionism in a posh Parisian restaurant but this is really about the smut. For the most part the smut was hot, but I have had to deduct one whole, star for this scene (anyone with a sensitive disposition is advised to look away):

"The metallic, liquid tang of her was new to me. The flavor and the experience blew over my soul like a breeze from wonderland. I feasted like a hunter consuming its prey...Like some kind of Dracula-turned-Neanderthal, all I could think about was releasing my seed into that exquisite, ravenous, mess."

Yes, I'm afraid he did go there. And in shark week. I love my smut, any smut, but I almost lost my dinner over my kindle at that point. Ah well, different strokes and all that...

For the most part, this was an engaging read and an escape into a fantasy world with lots of hot smut. If that's what you're looking for, this will fit the bill perfectly.

Oh this is my shit.

Are you fuckin kidding me?

How are people not loving this shit?

Sometimes in a book you gotta ride that reader's hump. For this story it was right in the first part. It was draggy, you didn't get alot from it and it seemed like they were just efen like bunnies in their own little world and we, as readers, weren't getting any story.

but after that?

after that?

hooooooolly shit

There is NOTHING I love more than intense, possessive and obsessive love.

It strikes a chord and this was all that and more. Dark romances are my shtick and this read did it perfectly just enough dark to balance out the light.

I am quickly becoming obsessed with this author this is the second book in a row I've read by her. I chose this book over an AlexaRiley new release and that's saying something considering I'm their #1 fan, but I honestly think I'm about to switch over to the dark side of Jones because she gets me on a spiritual level.

Ugh that was fucking mind blowing!!!!!

Amazing! I am so excited that I was able to read the entire book! I don't think I could have read it in sections. I am far to impatient. I received this from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. In my opinion Juliette Jones is brilliant. This story was fantastic. I loved everything about it. I am a sucker for a rich guy who exudes power and sexiness. This book did not disappoint. I love that Lila fell so quickly. I am a believer that when the right one comes along, you will know. I am hoping that Juliette has more in store for this fabulous couple.

**Billionaire generously provided by the author in exchange for an honest review**

So reviewing Billionaire…I’ve been staring at this page for almost an hour wondering what exactly to write to accurately portray how I felt about this book. On one hand - I freaking loved it; on the other hand – not so much. This book represents pure smut to me. The sex is constant, gritty, and full of need.

I’m going to start with what didn’t quite work for me. The character development lacks any real depth here which is represented pretty clearly by the lack of dialogue between the two main characters. As the reader we are in their heads, a lot, which is fine if communication between the two is just as consistent and I didn’t find that it was. It seemed far-fetched to me that the plot developed as it did without the characters ever really speaking that much. Lastly, Lila came off as so shallow at points that it drove me crazy. Her constant referencing of the luxuries she was being afforded in contrast to her feelings for Alexander gave a superficial feel to their relationship on her part.

So for the things I liked. Alexander and Lila are HOT for each other. Their relationship builds on literally nothing, just a job interview; a chance meeting with Alexander forced Lila into his office. It’s like they each have been stripped of everything else in their lives and are fulfilling this animalistic need to be together. Their passion is basic, and primal, and completely needy selfishly consuming each of them until there isn’t anything left but themselves as extensions of each other. And I think it’s totally hot, unrealistic, probably, maybe even unhealthy but something about these two and the emotions they project to each other just sticks with you. Without much dialogue, we spend a lot of time in each of their heads so we do understand these two for the most part. Alexander and Lila find something in each other that represents who they are intrinsically in themselves. Alexander’s protective instincts are swoon worthy his presence is all encompassing. A daunting, menacing man who hovers and lives for the love he strives to protect; a knight in shining armor – I can’t deny the romance in that. Lila flourishes under his reign; a delicate flower turned sex kitten in an instant. Their relationship remains untainted about worries of the past, infidelity, or other meaningless drivel. I totally liked that about this story, since it’s a series a novella’s it’s nice that the plot wasn’t bogged down by insecurities.

Billionaire represents smut pure and simple. It’s an intense, enjoyable, alluring, albeit at times aggravating reading experience. The story just sort of sucks you in, intriguing you to find out what’s going to happen next. I hope there is more to Alexander and Lila’s story. I look forward to this crazy roller coaster ride again.

I have to say I loved the start of this book and thought I was in for a real treat and to a certain extend I was, I loved the two main characters Lila and Alexander, the way things just clicked between them. Now I have to say that for me, unbelievable attraction aside, the interview just didn't seem realistic and I know this is ultimately an erotic romance but I still felt it moved a little too fast after all she went from shy and innocent to complete sex addict in no time at all but then it set the stage for the all consuming hunger that raged between them so maybe with hindsight it was right after all it just felt off while I was reading,
I'm not a fan of these serialised short books I object to the fact that each book is a taster for the next one and it ends up costing way more than it should to read the book, that said this complete collection is available for £3.13 which is a reasonable price for 233 pages.
If I'm being critical I'd say this book is too long, too short on actual story and yes, I can't believe I'm saying this it had too much sex. This is a result of the serialisation since each short book needs to have a hot sex scene, for me personally I think 7 books was too many and 5 would have been better, there's just not enough story for 7 and you have to wonder why so many.
In summary this book had a lot of potential, great characters and well written hot sex scenes, just for me too long, too little story.

This book was an outstanding read! Talk about a steamy whirl-wind romance. The chemistry between these two was incredible. Some may say that a love which borders on obsession is not a good thing and can be scary, but it apparently works for Alexander and Lila. Once these two meet, nothing could keep them apart! The attraction between them was instant and the bond they formed was beautiful. What may have appeared as simple lust at the beginning soon bloomed into so much more. This was my first read by Juliette Jones and I absolutely enjoyed it. She's got a new fan. I highly recommend this book to those of you who haven't read it. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

This was the second book (actually books 1-7 of the Billionaire series) I received kindly from Juliette Jones in exchange for a review.
I enjoyed the book, but I did not enjoy it as much as I hoped I would. I still rated it 4-stars, because it deserved it – but just coming off of Wild Ride, it lacked a certain something…but I can’t quite put my finger on it.

description

First, what I didn’t like…
I think my main issue with the book/series was twofold.
First, who quickly they got down to business…you know, sexy time.
It was just like "Hi, I'm here to interview for the job opening."
Then, BAM! We are totally having sex right now.
And I get it, it’s an erotic story. But, eh…it just didn’t work for me.

Second, I didn’t really like Lily.
I liked that she was a blonde. I’m a sucker for blonde heroines…*whispers, I am one myself*
But, she just was kind of meh, to me.
I preferred when the POV was from Alexander. The story seemed deeper and more “real” when I was reading from his prospective.
The romance between the characters was a little off for me too, but that was only because of me not loving Lily, I think.
I also got annoyed when she would get angry at Alexander for working. I mean, come on! He can’t just spend all day in bed with you.
Bah! Grow up a bit.
She would get annoyed with him for working, and then get annoyed because he wouldn’t let her work. It was a whole thing really.
Me no likey.
More emotional maturity would be nice for Lily I think…

*Lily rant over*

What I did like...
Alexander!
I LOVED reading from his POV.
He was, IMHO, perfection.
He was sexy.
Demanding.
Controlling.
Sweet.
Just, ahh, I liked him.
Did he do a couple questionable things? Sure . That should have been handled much differently. But, he wasn’t perfect and he always tried to make things right between him and Lily.
I loved the poker (no pun intended) scene. And I actually would have preferred more of THAT type of action, instead of the . Granted, it was hot…but the other was hotter and could have been off the charts, I thought.

I loved the hotness of the book and between the characters.
Was trés sexy!

description

Conclusion…
I would like to see more depth from Lily, and less petty jealous. I mean really, jealous that he’s working?
No. Just no.

Loved Alexander and his POV.
He should invite his friends over for poker again, in the next book *wink wink*

I recommend the book to anyone who is looking for a very sexy read. You’ll love Alexander, I promise.

I have to say that this might actually be one of my new favorite books! Alexander and Lila are an amazing couple! Their pasts are shadowed and allow for an all-encompassing, all-consuming, beyond passionate, very erotic, and absolutely mesmerizing love. Yes he is a billionaire and yes she is just looking for a job at first. But this is about so much more than "another billionaire story."

Alexander - sworn to protect his brother from a very early age. Ambition does not even come close to describe the drive he had to get where he is today. It was an absolute need. Obsessive yet compassionate, he is a walking contradiction. The love that he develops so quickly for Lila made me swoon from the very start. If I could get someone to give me a quarter of what they have, I'd be a happy girl!

Lila - poor broken Lila. She deserves Alexander. No other way to describe it. He worships the ground she walks on and the feeling is mutual for her. He is her everything. While it may not be healthy to be so all-consumed with each other, I think it's fitting for them. Lila needs someone to take care of her and show her the greater things in life. Her past was tortuous as well and gives Alexander another person to save. She is not needy and is scared to death at first of the extent of her love for him. Especially so quickly.

They will find that they both need each other equally. Give and take. These two are like reading a fairy tale that you want so badly to be a true story. What girl wouldn't want to have a Cinderella ending? And what guy wouldn't want to be a girls Prince Charming? They both get it. A definite Happily Ever After! (At least so far!) Let's see what's in store in Billionaire (Book 2)!!!!

☆ I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!! ☆

I really tried giving this book the benefit of the doubt, but, honestly:

I don't know guys. While I do love my sexy, erotic reads, I must regrettably digress when it happens to make up the entire read. I mean, if you want to read a straight up book of smutt this one could be for you. I just wanted some more depth and dimension to it is all. Sorry!

I'm glad I read all seven books together because I would imagine that several books lacked plot, aside from copious sex scenes. Jones clearly has a talent with words. Although sometimes overly flowery for my tastes, ability to write is clear. A little light on plot for most of the series.
