This book contains two short stories which are centered on a beautiful, rich middle aged woman who was nicknamed 'Princess' by her suitors. The first story is amazing, it relates itself with the classic short story The Monkey's Paw and offers a brand new angle for us to look at. I'm amused by how the author came up with logical and reasonable explanation to explain the supernatural happening in The Monkey's Paw and it's damn refreshing and surprising.

I also like how the author set up the character of the 'Princess' instead of demonizing her. The second story is weaker than the first and it isn't very outstanding, so 3.5 stars.
