Messy Mason by Yonit Werber Have read another book by the author and liked how she encourages children in a fun way. This book includes a free puzzle gift. This book is about Mason and he is messy. Colorful children's book about a messy person and how the parents get to change his mind about cleaning. Others in the family explain why they like a clean room, mostly so they can find things... One tries to bribe him with an ice cream if the room is clean the next day. It only worked for one day...They each had their own reason for keeping their rooms clean. Like parent tip at the end as there are many ways to bring about change. Other works by the author are highlighted at the end. Love hidden messages inside.
What a great story to really motivate kids to clean their rooms, etc.
I thought the story and font size was swell as well as the message that was delivered. It's too bad though that the images were so small that o e needed to increase the size of the image to make it more clearer for the reader to make out some items in this story. But she at least made it possible for the reader using say an iPad to enlarge these images as well as also show parents and child another way to be motivated themselves to be responsible for the action(s) needed to be put into action on a regular basis... Therefore I wish to recommend this for kids and parents. I received this for free using KU, and in return, here is my honest review. Super work Yonit! By Sunny.
My children love these little books. They thoroughly enjoy each and every story, as if they are all unique and individual without any cause for similarity among them. Even though sometimes, they might seem tedious and repetitive to me as a parent, I do enjoy being able to read short-stories to my children that are clean and respective.
Short, bright, simplistic. Good read aloud book for younger children. Some discussion questions at the end would have taken the story to a higher level of awareness for the reader.
No, if’s/ands or buts Mason is messy. His toys, & puzzles lay all over his room. He didn’t like cleaning his room. His mother insisted he clean the mess up. At supper, his mom mentioned your older sister Mary cleans her room. Next, she bribed him with ice cream. Will Mason every get in the habit of cleaning his room?
I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.
A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written children’s responsibility help book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s responsibility help movie, an animated cartoon, PP presentation, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.

Mason's room is a mess, but he does not want to clean it. Everyone in his family tells him why a clean room is good, but he wants it messy. He learns why a clean room is good then tries to keep it cleaned up after that.
I enjoyed this. It's good for your toddlers. I liked how Mason discovered why it is good to have a clean room. I liked that he did not get his treat when he messed up his room before going with his mom. It taught a lesson without being preachy.
Actually this was a good book for parents trying to figure out how to motivate their children into doing the right thing. By doing it right the habit wills tay and by bribing the behavior won’t last long!
This short children's book has bright colorful pictures and an engaging story line. Parents might just learn an additional trick in engaging older children in cleaning their rooms.
1.He choose not to clean room his room. 2.A clean room tells a lot about a persons character. 3.His mother encouraged him to be more responsible.
Many parents have to plea and beg to get children to clean up behind themselves. This is a good book to encourage children the importance of keeping a clean room. Having a dirty room is a safety hazards. A clean environment is healthy.I would use this book when teaching about health and safety.
