Holy Hell, this was hot and intense sex, strong characters, interesting plot.I was so not ready for this to end. Great plot and interesting characters. Madeline is determined to revenge on Daniel, we don't know what for, but she hasn't countered for the strength of his character and the way in which he imposes his will on her. Conflicted, she is drawn in, all the time knowing she will destroy him.
Hot scenes and mystery, loved it.

Blah terrible.. So dumb.. Horrible editing.. Typos left and right.. Terrible plot you had no clue why she was trying to get something to Daniel until the end only to find out he had nothing to do with it.. and it was a WTF ending ..

Let me start by saying, I'm eternally grateful that this was a freebie. Paying for a book like this isn't something I want on my conscience.
What the f*$# did I just read?
The writing was a mix up between trying too hard and not trying at all. The POV switching within the same paragraphs was giving me a whiplash; not to mention the confusion it creates.
The story had some good moments and a few steamy scenes, but for me it didn't make up for the overall failure. I don’t even remember the character names and I just finished reading.
And the first place for biggest disappointment goes to: THE ENDING!
You keep that big secret dangling just out of reach, begging us to read on to find out what it is and that's how you end it? Seriously?

Madeline Taylor is obsessed with Daniel Harker, but not the type of obsession that you would think. Madeline wants to destroy Daniel and is planning on doing just that.
After Maddy acquired a job as Daniels PA, she put her plan in motion and started to look for evidence that she could use against him. Daniel on the other hand had other plans for Maddy. He wanted to get to know her intimately and Maddy knew that if she was to get her revenge, she needed to comply with his every whim. After her first sexual encounter with him, Maddy realized that she was losing focus but, couldn't stop seeing him because she was starting to have feelings for him.
Soon after seeing Daniel with another woman, Maddy regains her focus and puts her plan back in motion. I won't give away everything but Maddy had to decide if revenge is worth losing someone that she is really starting to care for.
This is a really good book with really steamy sex scenes. I recommend reading this book!

Loved this one! I recently started getting into NA novels and this one is steaming. Great chemistry between the characters which kept me turning pages long into the night! I loved that Madeleine had a vengeful streak. I get a little tired of romance novels where the female is a meek, submissive little mouse. This chick has spunk!
This is a quick read which you will finish in one entertaining sitting! The writing is so immersive that you won't want to put it down!
Definitely recommended!

This Book was very sexy, steamy, with drama was well, suspense and highly erotic content.
It was beautifully written with a very interesting plot,the characters were amazing it captivated my attention from beginning to the end of the book

Ana Steel in a mini story... I did not fully enjoyed it. It was like an intimidated s**. But I must admit some of the scenes are hotter than the Earth's core!!
The story seems promising, polishing is a must! especially towards the end, it was hastily ended... it could stretch more and give the readers more satisfaction.

This was a strange read for me. Madeline has been strategically educating herself on whatever is needed to be hired by Daniel, CEO of his own company. Gaining experience working temp jobs, the day finally arrives where a post as his assistant becomes vacant. For reasons unknown, Madeline is seeking revenge, snooping in his office when opportunities arise. Daniel comes across as cold, unfeeling & bold. He doesn't ask permission & takes what he wants. (not very realistic in my humble opinion), and a semi-BDSM interaction ensues. Sometimes I felt as though he was reading off a tele-prompter when he spoke, his words seemed so contrived & robotic. A strong woman, Madeline still had thoughts of sticking with her plan, whatever that was, but also went along with Daniel's sexual demands. A very short story with an abrupt ending. Just an ok read for me & it would have been nice to have an epilogue explaining a month or two into the future.

Needs some editing. I enjoyed some of the story but couldn't get on board completely.
I wasn't expecting Madeline to go after Daniel, since it was his father's choices that caused her to be forced in to foster care. The ending was just really rushed so the story didn't really feel complete to me at the end. I just felt like she couldn't really blame Daniel for his father's decisions. Daniel was no more to blame than she was for her fate. And considering Daniel was so involved in charities that support and benefit the children placed in the foster care system, she really just didn't have a basis for any kind of revenge. In fact, we saw more of her completing her job tasks for Daniel and falling for him than we do of her revenge tactics. That part of the story was left completely to the wayside and changed the essence of the story.

super quick freebie... sounds amazing in the blurb. Sounds like it will be a strong independent woman whos sole purpose is to make the male character miserable... I am hoping for some awesome ness, sneaky, two faced things...
.. what I got was a 30 minute read where two characters meet and marriage is proposed...what in the Sam hell? this book had grammatical issues everywhere and the plot of the obsession immediately dies. the entire book could of been thee chapters and maybe a start to a book. this leaves me so angry and bored. ugh

I think this book was supposed to take place in Washington D.C. (in the U.S.), but it's obvious from the writing and dialogue that the author is British. So I read this book like it was written in that view, and quite enjoyed it.
I liked the author's writing style, and the day-to-day narration. Obviously there were typos, and the ending was but I read it (like I read most erotica) for the smut. The relationship between the two leads was a little inexplicable in how it began, but that's par for the course at this point.
It was a good, short, enjoyable read.

A quick easy not too well written erotic read. I was hooked by the storyline but the poor editing and the typos let the story down a little.
If anything the story was on the short side and ended rather abruptly for my liking. I will be tempted to give ths Author another go should I come across one of her stories.
Bossy dominant male meets new female office worker and you get the gist of what the story might involve. A few erotic not overly over the top scenes between them. Female office worker has a hidden agenda, read the story to find out what her agenda was.

Ugh! I can't believe I wasted my time on this- should I even call it -book! The writing was not good at all. Mistakes and confusion of who even was talking. Sex scenes were a bore. The way they or rather he talked was so weird and didn't make sense to their relationship. I think I read a review that compared it the 50 shades of grey. I don't even think that person actually read 50 shades if she compared them!

Madeline has a vendetta against Daniel and is hired as his PA. They end up falling for each other. The book was good until he discovers what she's doing, confronts her and then it ends. He makes a strong statement which I guess could be considered a happy ending statement, but that's it. It ends. What you get is good, I just wanted more.

This was good for a short book, very quick read.
I enjoyed the characters, however I wish Madeline wouldn't have given in to Daniel so easily. Although maybe that is because it was a shorter story. I did like that the end came full circle on what Madeline was trying to do from the beginning, however I also feel like the end was a little incomplete. Good book in all though.

Erotyk dla bardzo mało wymagających czytelniczek. Madeline zatrudnia się u Daniela, aby się na nim zemścić. On typ dominanta nie ustaje, dopóki jej Madeline mu nie ulegnie, a ona w imię zemsty zbytnio mu się nie opiera. Wszystko to słabo napisane, kompletnie bez wyrazu i emocji, postaci nijakie, przeczytać i zapomnieć albo jeszcze lepiej wcale nie czytać.

The author appears to be British, which explains some of the spelling "errors" and the formal prose, though I did feel that helped emphasize Daniel's coldness. The ending was hugely disappointing. The explanation of Madeline's motivation was poor, making her seem a bit unbalanced. It was as if Ms. Bailey ran out of time before a deadline: Here's why she did it; The End.

Lame. That's all I can think of when I think of this book. It could've been a good book, but I was confused as to why she hated this man so much and then at the very end I got intrigued and she tells him why she dislikes him and then all of a sudden he tells her "you're going to marry me".

I almost didn't finish. It took me more than a week to read what should've taken me a couple hours at most. I don't think I read the same book everyone else did? Wonky and strange sentence construction. The story is everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Not really my cup of tea.

"Torn" was not a bad quick read. At first I was thinking this won't be any good, but the author did a good job stringing you along with the mystery of "Why is she plotting against him?" I'm curious to see what happens in the next installment.
