All I can say is WOW! What an eye-opening book. Dr. Smalley really shows how eating the foods that God created and that not are processed make our bodies healthy in a physical and emotional way and make our relationships with others better. I remember seeing an episode of Roseanne where Dan told Roseanne, "Food is the one luxury we can afford." It's not supposed to be a luxury, it's supposed to be a necessity, used to fortify the body. I highly recommend this book to everyone. Truly life-changing and biblical.
Not as information filled as I would have liked and yet it surprised me to realize it's the first nutrition book I encounter to actually take the next logical step and talk about the link between what we put into our bodies and our more spiritual side in the sense of feelings and attitude towards life. A lot of relationshipy advice... good, i'm not saying it wasn't, I was just looking for more info on the foods :D
