Footsteps follow me in the dark. A dark blue sedan parked outside my window.
Taunting. Teasing. Haunting. I turn to the only men who seem to care, my stepbrothers—the Huntsman's. But can I trust them? Where do their loyalties really lie? And is it wise to give my heart to the men who took my freedoms away in the first place.
The Huntsmen is a dark, gritty, enemies to lovers, reverse harem romance series, meaning the FMC will have more than one love interest. The Main Characters are in their early 20's.
This series contains bullying, fighting, cussing, violence, murder, explicit sex scenes, and drug use. Ends on a cliffy.
Ok where to start. Book 1 was ok like 3 stars. Book 2, meh maybe 2.5 (being generous?), Book 3, errrrr 1. So she’s suppose to be a fighter, she has been doing kickboxing for self defense for years and every fight she’s in, what does she do…just kicks a guy in his balls. This happens twice, the other time she jumps on a guys back then nothing. She’s then like if only I had my knife, blah blah blah. Well, in self defense you can’t rely on weapons. Your taught your body is the weapon. Kickboxing there is no knife. FMC got really annoying on her tstl decisions. I hated the ending. Some many threads left open. What about Nadia, Seb, Jake, really Robert….thats was a stupid decision there. Where are the videos now? There was no explanation on any of the blackmailing anywhere. Detail details details!
This was fine. I feel like the writing just changed a whole lot, but still the writing wasn’t good. It goes back to single POV which I didn’t love. We do got to see her interact with Royce a little more but not enough in fact she hardly interacted with any of the boys I feel like. The ending wasn’t surprising, but it was so rushed and we hardly find out anything especially SLIGHT SPOILER about Nadia. Then it just ends. I would really recommend skipping this whole series and I don’t know why I read it all. It is an easy read and it’s entertaining enough.

So much suspense was built around the blackmailing and we only got maybe half of the answers we needed.
My biggest concern is, WHAT HAPPENED WITH NADIA? I mean, come on! She was cavorting with the blackmailer himself, and NO ONE mentions her after they find out his identity.
The ending was ridiculous. Obviously, it was self-defense, so as to why the boys thought they had to hide the body and have Robert take the fall and go to prison is beyond me. The police were already aware of the blackmailing, E-Mails, and Char's life possibly being in danger.
As with the other two books, this whole series could have used another run-through with editing. Lots of incomplete sentences and misused words.
Some questions remain to be answered in this last book. Why is Robert guilty? nothing is explained, just dropped in a sentence and never heard more about it. Nadia? What’s going on with her, nothing is explained It’s a Shame because apart from the poor grammar and missing odd words , this series was good
I thought the author would at least give us a complete ending after so much nonsense, but so many threads left open and so mant loose ends were left. What about jake, Nadia, Seb and Chase? Their participation in the blackmail was not explained. Actually nothing was explained. A poor ending to a trilogy. That was so disrespectful to the readers.
The first book was good, the second was a little less than the first and this one was just…. Disappointing.
It’s clear no one spell checked or edited the book. There were so many grammatical errors (that even I could tell)… and the wrap up of the 3 book plot line was rushed. There’s still so many questions as to WHY, and how certain characters were involved.
Also, I read a review that discussed how this is supposed to be set in the US but all the slang is British, which is confusing.
Good series which enjoyed reading. Felt it just finished rather quickly with no examination of main baddie. Could have been hotter between main characters. However, nice ending most plot finished nicely.
Enjoyable story would’ve liked a little epilogue or something — glad for the HEA bummed a little by how it was all tied up but overall an enjoyable read.
It was okay nothing too interesting happens and the ending was so underwhelming. I don’t like the fact that book 2 was multiple pov but then it goes back to FMC pov for book 3.
There’s a lot more interaction with Royce but I feel like it was not enough. The other 2 brothers get a whole 3 books and he only gets 1.
The only reason I did not dnf is because the actual plot and story line was interesting. The writing wasn’t the best but wasn’t the worst either, but I feel like the writing did put me off.
I think all 3 books were not edited or proofread at all. So many errors, I think at some points we have like paragraphs repeating in book 2. (Unless I’m tripping)
This is a RH I wish they had more moments together
Overall I enjoyed the series. Just a couple of things that turned me off. There are many grammatical errors. The books need to be re-edited. There are 3 MMC, her stepbrothers. The FMC kept calling one of her stepbrothers, step cousin, even though it was revealed early on that he was in fact biologically her stepfather’s son. The first two books are told from all 4 points of view but the last book is only the FMC. There are definitely some steamy scenes but I was waiting for the foursome that never happened! And no DP? You can’t have a good reverse harem without the FMC getting all her holes filled!

‘Because i made a promise, that we’d hunt you down wherever you are because..’ Layne utters. ‘under our skin’ Daz finishes. ‘And we’re stupidly in love with you’ Royce mumbles.
