Sequel to Blood in the SandSanguis Book Three Mercenary Jed Walker and his reclusive boyfriend, Redford Reed, are all set for a much-needed trip—nothing but sand, fish, sun, and drinks with those tiny umbrellas in them—when Victor Rathbone shows up with an acquaintance in tow. Randall Lewis pleads for their help in finding a cure for his brother Anthony’s rare disease. Jed, Redford, and Victor join the Lewises as they set out to find the Gray Lady, legendary leader of the largest wolf pack in existence, who may be able to help. What they don’t expect is to find themselves caught up in her pack’s struggles with local human hunters or a growing conflict among the supernatural communities. Jed is abruptly faced with what it means to be human in a world rife with the supernatural, and the challenges keep piling fear that his way of life is hurting his Redford, sparks flying between the half-blood Victor and wolf Randall, the impending threat of hunters, and the quickly approaching war that could kill them all. All things considered, Jed wishes fishing was the only thing he had to look forward to.

3-3.5 stars: This is actually a hard review to write because I really dig this series, I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE the main MCs, and was looking forward to this third installment, but this one was just waaaaaaay too long, with pacing issues, and focused a lot on side characters that I personally was less interested in. So in the end, was less a fun read.

What I liked: This is the third book, sequel to Blood Howl and Blood in the Sand, which follows human mercenary Jed and his sweet werewolf lover Redford through their adventures. The first book is where they meet, when Jed has a job to kidnap a recluse, only to find his job to be a hot, sweet, shy guy (with wolf-like tendencies on the full moon.) I love Jed and Red’s chemistry, so very much enjoyed their story. Book 2 sees them off to Cairo as they try to solve a mystery with emo vampire buddy David and his bookish lover Victor. Book 2 was fun, but the POVs split between Jed & Redford and David & Victor, and I only felt really invested in one couple, but it was overall a fun read.

In book 3, we get more Jed & Redford time. Yay! I don’t know why, but their chemistry totally hits my buttons. Love gruff hired gun Jed who is so marshmallow soft for his werewolf. Love sweet Redford who doesn’t always get Jed’s leering jokes, but is along for the ride because they loooove each other. It is sweet times, and I could read them all day.

And this time, they are on an adventure to help book 2’s Victor (now sans emo vampire David), and his werewolf friend Randall, and Randall’s two werewolf brothers. (It is getting crowded in this story.) Off the whole group goes to find a big werewolf clan to help heal Randall’s brother. Along the way, relationship conflicts ensue, there’s some conflicts with evil hunters, and Jed wonders if he’s been caging in Redford’s wolf too much.

The Jed & Redford parts were fun, and for those who enjoyed the last two books, you will get more of the warm and toasty chemistry that only the mixture of explosives and love can make.

What was harder: Okay. I love me some J&R time, but this book was too long. ARe tells me it's over 239,000 words (Over 600+ pages), and it really felt that long. I thought it was way too much, and I didn’t always find what was there as necessary. Scenes ran too long, or dialogue, or things that probably could have been skipped. It didn’t feel like a “tight epic”. It reminded me more of a sprawling serial fanfic which is updated in chunks, but doesn’t read tightly as one controlled story, or it reminded me of written out role-playing sessions, when characters dialogue and dialogue to figure things out, but I don’t always feel the necessary weight of those scenes.

For me, it felt like a very long draft that needed a heartless cold bastard of an editor to go in and cut out the darlings. (This sex scene--too long! This dialogue scene--not needed!) I’m not the bastard for the job since I would be all, “Nooooo, not Jed & Red time! They are my PRECIOUS!” But there is someone out there who could be that heartless, and that’s what it really needed. A jerky, snarling, evil editor (who has your best interest at heart.)

My other issue is more of a personal reader issue. I don’t normally do well with multiple pairings in one book. My mind tends to focus on one couple. (Outside of say, Pride & Prejudice. I mean, who doesn’t love Jane, and want her to have her Bingley??) Part of the issue might also be that the other couple is compared to Jed and Redford, who are very lovey and colorful and have a lot of energy.

For book 2, I didn’t really care about David and Victor’s failing relationship--I found them emo and colorless, and in book 3, I wasn’t super into Victor getting his HEA on with Randall. For one, they are *both* very emo, their characters felt very similar to each other, and they had a lot of repetitive relationship conflicts. “I can’t be with you, but I kinda want to!” “No, I can’t be with you, even though I like you!” There’s a lot of that, dragged out over several hundred pages, and it just was flat to me. And each chapter has a POV shift, and I would get to a Victor or Randall chapter, and feel deflated, and feel double-deflated when it went from Victor immediately to Randall, and triple-deflated when it went to Victor-Randall-Victor. (And those chapters are long!)

Having a 239k story with what felt like half of it focusing on a couple that I didn’t feel attached to, it just made the story drag on even more.

And then again too long, pacing issues. (Like from 75%-95% not much happens except some relationships issues are resolved, and some set-up for the next book. That sounds good, but for a story this long, that’s…45,000 words for what ultimately felt like not much happened. I was somewhere in the 85-88%, thinking, “...is this it? Was that part in the early 70% the climax? What?” Something exciting happens near the end, but it didn’t fix the overall pacing issues for me.

For those nervous about endings, it ends very well. There’s definite set-up for the next book, but you don’t end nervously or worried about the MCs, so you can go into the installment fine, even if you have to wait awhile for the next one.

There is a lot of set-up for future books. It looks like the next secondary pairing will be with Randall’s brother Anthony, who I find still very emo, but marginally more interesting than Randall and Victor, so will be positive.

I do think if you enjoyed book 1 and book 2, you should definitely check out book 3. A) It might work better for you than me and it has a lot of what was great about the first two books and B) it’s definitely not a volume you should skip since stuff does happen.

So, if you’re into the series, go in and enjoy yourself. If you haven’t read the series before, I recommend book 1, Blood Howl. It is fun times, and one of my fave comfort re-reads.

All Jed wanted was a much-needed fishing vacation with his man, Redford. No jobs. No phones. Just Jed, Red and Knievel the cat. The last thing he wants is Victor Rathbone and Randall Lewis knocking on his and Red's door asking for help. But when Randall's story comes out, the vacation plans go out the window. Redford is being given a chance to help someone and Jed - who will do anything for his man - can't say no.

The secondary characters in Bloodlines are some the best I've read. Randall's brothers, Anthony and Edwin, jumped on my all-time favorite list for secondaries. Anthony, who has been mother/father/brother/everything to Randall and Edwin their entire lives is now forced to depend on them. Edwin is a treat. You can not read about him and not adore him.

There are several stories going on at once but they are all part of the whole. Jed and Red have a few issues come up in their relationship and Victor and Randall must decide if they can have one. There's some violence, a serious illness and a lot of werewolves. In the end, it's an outstanding addition to the Sanguis Noctis series and I will be eagerly awaiting #4.

After liking the first two books in the series so much, I didn’t think it was possible to like this one more. WRONG! Everything just got better in this third volume: Jed and Redford’s relationship deepens, gets tested to its limits as they overcome obstacles both big and small, and to me, this entire book is a document proving their love. What I also loved is that Victor is back (the stuffy professor from book two), this time with a man who seems more likely to be right for him, no other than Randall Lewis, who was rescued from the vampires in book two. Add to that Knievel the cat, who has slowly evolved into a character in her own right, and hits the stage running in this book, so to speak. The whole setting and background, unraveling mysteries and new secrets alike, definitely held my attention for all 440 pages of this amazing novel. Stunning!

Jed finally wants to go fishing. It’s a holiday he talked about in book one, made real plans for in book two (then got “sidetracked” by their trip to Egypt), and is determined to take at the beginning of book three. Unfortunately, the vacation will have to wait. He has a secretive wolf pack to find, his role in Redford’s life to figure out, and a few explosions to set off while he rescues all kind of people, both human and shifters. Jed is definitely a busy man but his sense of humor and sense of superiority remain intact, much to my relief.

Redford still battles the voices in his head as his wolf becomes stronger, yet when he finds himself in the middle of a pack of wolves, he doesn’t fit in either. The one thing he does know is that he belongs with Jed, and no matter what anyone else says, the usually quiet and slightly shy man becomes insistent when his relationship with the man he loves more deeply than he can express is threatened.

Victor and Randall are quite the pair. Neither is fully human, they both feel a strong attraction, but they don’t have the unbreakable bond that Jed and Redford have managed to forge. Their interests are quite different, and Randall has the added complication of feeling responsible for finding a cure for his brother Anthony, no matter what the cost. Werewolf “royalty” in the form of the Gray Lady adds another layer to the story, as do all the pack and shifter politics that suddenly get uncovered.

If you like action/adventures of the supernatural kind with a good deal of mythos and mystery added in for good measure, if you enjoy reading about more than one couple’s relationship as it develops, and if you want to know how Jed and Redford are up to instead of taking a long-deserved vacation, then you need to read this novel. For me, it is the best of the series, and I can only hope there will be another book and that it will be published soon. The whole series is amazing!

It's a fact... after this book this series became MY FAVORITE GAY PARANORMAL SERIES!
And no, I'm no exaggerating.I hope I will not bore you to death, dear reader of this review, and I PROMISE this review will NOT tell anything that could spoil the previous two books.

Jed and Redford are back
Book 1 Blood Howl (Sanguis Noctis, #1) by Robin Saxon and book 2 Blood in the Sand (Sanguis Noctis, #2) by Robin Saxon of course Jed and Redford are still the protagonists, but everything evolved, changed.. got better. It's the longest of the series, and the one I took less days to finish. 440 pages. In two days. I couldn't stop.

This book will have more characters, but I refuse to call any of them secondary characters. They are protagonists too, ALL of them

and let's go by parts, as Jack the Ripper said

The Lewis Brothers Anthony (the oldest), Randall and Edwin
The plot of this book seems soooooo uncomplicated... a pack of 3 wolves, werewolves, brothers, need Jed help. As one of the best mercenaries Jed can track anyone.. but can him track anything? Even a reclusive pack of wolves? The Lewis need to find the pack with the oldest werewolf on Earth, The Gray Lady. BUT it will sounds like it's Redford work... not Jed's. As a wolf Red may be the simplest way to the Lewis brothers to get to the Gray Lady. It may be they last hope... Anthony is dying.

The love, desperation and hope of the Lewis break my heart in countless pieces

But that's not all... there are more...

So, I talked about Jed and Red, the 3 brothers, but now I must tell you in this story another protagonist is Victor
I will not tell anything about his boyfriend, , David. Not after book 2. I promise I would not spoil anything. So I will STFU about Victor love life... I will talk about Victor's loneliness.
It amazes me. When you start the series this geek will appear out of nowhere, and of course it was love at first sight. A professor, totally dedicated to his books and work, how can someone as him became a fundamental piece in this story?
simple... Victor is the loneness and saddest character of the series. After book 2 you WILL DEMAND to read more about his personal live. Who is he? He is even human? How can such boring and strange person grab the attention of someone so dangerous and powerful as David (book 2 story). But the most important question of all: Will he bitch slap Jed after 3 books of being called "princess?"
:-p
ALL this questions will be answered... even if he will have the balls to affront Jed.

And last, but not less important, character of this book is Knievel
No, I'm not insane.
Yes, Knievel is a cat (a siamese cat)
And oh fuck yeah... it's a protagonist too.
a lot of space is given to the CAT! YAY! Ok, I had Siamese, and countless of other cats and I'm VERY PROUD saying I'm a cat lover and I CAN GUARANTEE that this is the BEST book with a cat I even read.
Jed is more than just a cat lover. The big and scary human, mercenary, is owned by his cat. Oh yeah. NO one that have a cat can say he/she is the owner, but is owned.
In this book I cry laughing of how Jed, the big and scary mercenary is so soft and caring when his cat in involved.
In book 1 Knievel appeared. In book 2 Knievel was cited but not present... in this book, Knievel IS a protagonist too.

So yeah, I'm not kidding.
This book don't have two main characters, Jed the human and mercenary and his partner for live, Redford, the werewolf.
This book has 2 (Jed & Red) + 3 (The Lewis brothers) + 1 (Victor) + 1 (Knievel, the cat) protagonists! I shit you not, 7 protagonists. (I'm still refusing to talk about David,)

BTW, I must also add very quickly more comments about
*How HILARIOUS is this book. Jed crack me up in the previous two, but this book, he is unstoppable. One joke after another. As his usual, more dirty words than normal English will be part of his speech... but it's not that the funny, but his intelligent jokes, his endless jokes about Victor, about the 3 brothers... about ANYTHING!.
*It's a hilarious book, as all previous in this series, but it's also the most serious of all. It's the first time you will see Jed thinking about Red needs. They love each other. From book 1, and very quickly, a partnership will begin. Jed need Red, Red need Jed.... right? Anything can happen... for the first time they will have more werewolves close to Red. HOW this will affect Red? I guarantee nothing will be as it was before, after the last page of this book.

So, first of all thanks for the immense patience reading this long review, but I just finish it and I'm really sure this that start as a series I was just curious about became MY FAVORITE of all.
I read many, liked many and characters, but no series NONE evolved as this one did.

I can't tell exactly how
or why

I can just say....

They were home.

4.5. May contain spoilers.

I feel like I can overlook some pacing issues since this book sets up so much future action. although, I really hope the youngest wolf bro doesn't end up David's mate some how. that's not really a spoiler, there's absolutely no mention of anything of the sort. but it seems like unless they pop in some newbies in the next book these are the only freebies left, relationship wise. I liked Victor more because of this book as well. maybe a little longer groveling, I do love some introspective grovel scenes. but, still great set up. I like the coupling, love the ending. can't wait to see what this von trap family house leads up to.can't wait for Anthony to find his tru wuv again. Gah, countdown to the next book.
sorry for typos, using phone app.

I was really only interested in Jed and Redford which means that sadly there was a lot of skipping.
But I still like them as a couple and want to know what happens to them.
I would have preferred if the whole series was about wolves, without all the other things that go bump in the night. So I liked this book better than the last, but still not the same feel as the first book.

First things first, this is my first m/m book that was more than 200 pages long and I should congratulate the authors 'cos they had a very interesting story with great plot that actually managed to hold me till the end of it and I didn't dropped the book half way (or even less) through it. Kudos for that! ^^

I haven't read the first two books of the series (yeap I jumped head first right into this one), and I'm not gonna do so now, even though there was but minimal information of what have happened in those to get you through Bloodlines. Still though you can make it. So go ahead.

@61% I came to the realization that Gray Lady is a BITCH!!! She doesn't want to endanger her wolves in a flight or fight decision, but everyone else is fair game and can go die for all she cares.

Victor seeing into the future is bollocks! She is looking for a guarantee for what? How many she's going to lose? Either way as Jed said war is on her doorstep she's going to have to fight at some point and still the outcome would be unpredictable. Endangering Victor like that (even though as we see afterwards it's something Victor wants to do himself), there was no point to it.

@67% To show the awesomeness of this book till now, I just thought to myself "Not a sex scene, please! I need the story to move to see what happens". Yeap! And that rarely happens like 0.01%!

@73% I get that Victor doesn't remember every second of everything he sees but seeing as the Lewises are about to leave shouldn't he do a reminiscence of what he've seen and make sure he influences things for the best result? For that matter shouldn't we have a scene where Victor talks with the Gray Lady of what he has seen?

Victor sees different futures depending on what variables change. Shouldn't that mean that he gets to semi-influence things a bit? What's the point of seeing the future if you can't change it if you can?

OVERALL:
I liked this book and it didn't tire me even though it was so big, but the reason I didn't love it or it didn't get 5 stars is the fact that I'm contemplating if I'll read the next one.

Cons:
1. I don't know if I want to read about David.
2. Though I love Victor and Randall as separate characters, them together as a couple left me indifferent. I loved their angst, but their HFN wasn't convincingly presented.
3. Exactly because of no.2 I'm thinking that having David back will put a strain on their relationship that isn't yet very well established and I'd like to read something other than their angst in the next book.

Pros:
1. I really want to know about the prophecy.
2. I want to know if the Vil-sth guy comes back and gets a HEA with Anthony, 'cos God knows Anthony deserves it.
3. I love Jed! And the prophecy being all about him, there are going to be fireworks.

Truth be told I think it'll depend on when the next one is published (and I'll remember to check it) and how many pages long it'll be. Right now I don't think I could handle another book as long as this one, but who knows till then. I might be all up for it.

I still love this series...Jed and Redford always steal the show. It's a long story and the pacing got a little slow in some spots.
I must admit that it took me a while to like Victor. He puts off an arrogant vibe and it took him FOREVER to even consider Randall in a romantic way.

I wanted a more definite resolution to Anthony's illness and some info on his mysterious mate. I hope he'll make an appearance in the next book. I have a theory that Anthony's illness is a result of him .

The Gray Lady is a bitch and couldn't be reasoned with.
Will Edwin get a love interest?
I wonder what the vamps are up to now!!!

It's really long (which was a nice surprise). It's more about Victor and Randall than Jed and Redford, so be prepared for that. It's somewhat more low key and domestic than the others, but I still really enjoyed it.

I’m so attached to these MCs and these authors have such a talent for dialogue that, as I made my way slowly but surely through this behemoth, I was thinking I’d rate it four stars flaws and all. Then we got to the final quarter and things fizzled out so badly before ending with a final, contrived setup for the next book that I just had to downgrade it a bit.

This really needed a merciless editor to tighten it up because there’s a lot of good here. Unfortunately, after it seems that the major conflict is resolved with a stern talking to (really?), the story veers off into soap opera for a while as we deal with Victor and Randall’s relationship and other Lewis brother drama. Oh yeah, and sex of course. Not that it had been without its problems, but I much prefer when the schmoop is woven into the action bits as it was for the first three quarters of the book. This felt tacked on and, at novella length all on its own, way too long.

I was also distracted by It had better be a factor in the next book.

Even so, I liked this better than book 2. It’s really the characters that make this series anyway and they did not disappoint. In addition to plenty of Jed and Redford, I was glad to have Victor back and the Lewis boys have possibility. The scene is set, somewhat clumsily, for the next book and I will be right there with them.

With this one you get more of Redford and Jed which I absolutely loved! But you also get the POV's of Victor and Randall which I can say I was not a huge fan of at all..

I think with the POV's of Victor and Randall I just really did not care, I am sorry I just had no interest in them as a couple at all. I think that I felt like this mainly because I was still not a huge fan of Victor at all.

Other then those parts I really loved this book! This time Redford is asked to go to the Gray lady's pack to ask for help because Randall's brother Anthony was sick and human medicine was not working. Redford in this book is having a hard time dealing with his wolf voice in his head and the instincts he was having that were making him violent. They all together helped the pack deal with the human hunters that were hurting wolves.

This time Jed is having a hard time because he feels like he is keeping Redford back from being the wolf he needs to be, so they have more troubles as a couple in this book. The way they work together though is just awesome! I really liked Randall's brothers Anthony and Edwin. I kind of hope that Edwin is the soul mate that Victor was talking about for David in the last book Blood in the Sand.

You get more action with this one which I loved, angst and sweet moments between Redford and Jed.

All together I really liked most of this book!

I would definitely recommend this series!

Normally I complain to my boyfriend about the books never being long enough. Well not this one. It is over 500 pages. Now you would think I would be absolutely happy. Yeah, not so much. Everything between Jed and Red was great, but Victor and Randall were just boring. And the book felt very repetitive. Red attacks Jed because of some animal instinct thing. We already had that in the previous book. Jed decides Red is better off without him. So there is the obligatory break up, which only last a day. Thankfully there are others that convince Red and Jed that they should fight for each other. I just wanted to smack them. Victor is self destructive, so he doesn't want to be with Randall because it would be to boring. Even though he has seen the future and knows that he and Randall can have a wonderful and happy live together. Yeah, Victor is a real catch. And than there is Anthony (Randall's brother). Or maybe I should say saint Anthony. It is repeated many times how great Anthony is and how very terrible his condition is.
All in all this book felt a little too full. Jed, Red, Victor, Randall, Randall's two brothers, the Gray Lady, her pack and an upcoming war. This story could have easily been told in 350 pages. So no 4 stars, even though Jed and Red deserve it. They remain one of the best couples out there.

Received as a gift from my Secret Santa

3.5 stars

I really like this series and the characters, this story is somewhat confused though. On one had it's the continuing story of Jed and Redford, but it's also the story of Victor (the half blood Medusa) and Randall (the werewolf they rescued in Cairo) - add into the mix the rest of Randall's troubled family, the clannish wolf pack run by The Grey Lady and a host of hunters, half bloods and of course Knievel the cat.

What you have is a good story, but an awful lot of it (over 400 pages - and some of which could be lost with some tighter editing)... and it's not even a complete story as there are a myriad of unanswered questions and left over threads to be continued in presumably the next installment..... I will be continuing with the series as I want to know what happens and I am just hoping the Victor's ex, David, is not actually behind it all!

4.25 out of 5

If I had to describe this book in one word, it would be "sprawling." If anything, there's enough here for two books, maybe three short ones. It reminds me of some TV shows I've seen - an overarching plot that runs the entire season, with smaller digressions as each episode.

I love this book, mind you - the characters are fantastic, Jed is not nearly the unrelateable a-hole he was in previous books, and even Victor becomes sympathetic. Redford is, as always, my favorite. I wish we could have seen more from his point of view!

There are moments of pure magic here, the moved me to tears in their sweetness. There were also passages that had me laughing out loud. So why not a solid 5-star rating? Pacing. The pacing of the book seemed off, and it made it a more difficult read than it needed to be overall.

That said, the moment the sequel comes out I am buying it!

wow, so great book, great writing. The scene where Jed left was so heart wrenching and beautifully written. Love Red and Jed. Though wish there was more of Jed, he's honestly so funny.
Randall and Victor's love story wasn't as strong as I would have wished for. But well, there's another book coming. Missed David a lot, the end was exactly what I expected. Edwin's definitely for him. Want to see David happy.
Sometimes in the book, I thought 'Was that even necessary?" like moving seven states away and then, after all that, thinking of going to the person, threatening him for what he was doing, or like running and then coming back to start the war. But good book, all in all. Love all the detail.

This is a really entertaining series. A total of 3 books in the series now and I recommend all 3. You could read the first one only but they should be read in order after that or 2 and 3 will be hard to follow. Plus, they are all worth it.

I love that all the characters are so unique - perfectly imperfect - my favorite kind!

Jed and Red, Victor and Randall - they all have their HEA and it was quite a wild ride in the first 3 books to get them there! Now we just need a 4th book for David and the rest of the wolves! However, I don't see one in the works - nothing new from either author in a couple years...??

I enjoyed this one so much better!!

Yes there are still some continuity issues and the author tends to wander off at times but the characters are so richly dimensional and the plot continued at a pace I was able to overlook a few minor annoyances.

Jed and Red are even better together, I'm really beginning to like Victor and think Randall is perfect for him. I have decided I want an Edwin of my very own and would move the earth itself to help Anthony.

I cried real tears here more than once as well as laughed and giggled. I'm really looking forward to the next installment!

I feel this was the best one so far. It was longer than the first 2 combined .It did not have the logic gaps the first one did. Despite the length the writing was much better and it held my attention much better than the 2nd.

My biggest issue is there is a lot left unresolved to lead into the following books, but apparently those books were never written.

Great characters. Great world building. Great story, and I really want to know what happens to the other Lewis Brothers, David, and the Gray Lady plus her pack.

I LOVE Jed and Redford! They are one of my favorite couples and this book deals a lot with their relationship. We are also introduced to some new characters, Edwin and Anthony (Randall's brothers). There is a lot going on in this book. I'm absolutely blown away by the creativity of Saxon and Kidwell. Their ability to create a world filled with a variety of supernatural, and human, characters, all with distinct personalities is fantastic. The humor tops the whole book off.

It started great and then it went very soup-operish...
he loves him and knows what is better for him and so he goes away(this happened twice omg) and then they go back together...blablabla.
if it was separated in more books, maybe I would like it better...this way it was just neverending and full of meaningless drama >_>
but I hope there would be book with the oldest brother and selkie. I hope in that very much :I

This is the toughest book in the trilogy to read. Jed loves Red so damn much, and it's hard to watch him believe that he's handled their relationship and Red's shifterness badly.

And I imagine it's pretty accurate that if there were shape shifters, humans would hunt them down and try to kill them.

There's a cliffhanger at the end. And I swear I've read a fourth book in this series, but I can't find it anywhere. This was my second time reading the trilogy.

Reading that book was a little bit annoying. Story plot was puling but still to wide.

A lot happens in it and a lot opens in the end. Robin Saxton has some good writing stile but story plot could be cut into 2 books.

As mentioned there are problems with pacing and the gray lady seems like far more of a mess than she should be. But overall this is a really fun read and clearly building up tension for the series. Not to mention that character building is fantastic.

Jed and Red! Jed and Red! Jed and Red!
They are now firmly entrenched in my top ten m/m couples.
Again not as good as the first but still a lovely continuation in this series. Can't wait to see David again in the next one!
More now please!!!

This book is the best by far in the series. The characters must face their emotions and come to a compromise with their fears. I love the inclusion of the new characters and the feel of family. I wish there could be a sequel but unfortunately I dont think there will be.
