This was my first time reading anything from this author. I read this book really quick because it kept my attention. I knew 2 he I first read the first page I liked it. Pam was a hot damn mess and do were her damn daughter's. Angel seem to be do sweet. I don't understand why the author didn't say why Pam was so damn messy. I really enjoyed this book. I'm going to read part 2 because I'm trying to figure out what happened next anything is possible dealing with Pam messy ass.
After reading part one in this series, readers will certainly wonder. Action, drama, list and unexpected twists and turns keeps readers on the edge waiting to see what happens next!
1st let me start by saying that this book is a page turner. From beginning to end your captured by the shenanigans. But, before I get too deep let me say this:
Whoever edited this book needs to go bck and take some more classes. This book went from first person to third person and then finally, someone else's point of view. While reading, I had to fill in the blanks and make it make sense.
Now, back to Pam. I honestly wanna know why did she act the way she did especially, towards her children. The way she talked to them was beyond reckless. The fact that she was still sleeping with their fathers but still mad about the way that he left her.
Now the girls, Pam's girls, (I have to make that clear) Her girls were a handful and not only her girls but her sisters girls were a mess as well. Where Pam was ruthless, her sister Lisa could of gave a fck less.
This book was a worth the rollercoaster ride. I just wish the editing was done better.
Pam and Lisa are identical twins who both have 3 daughters each. Pam is a RAN, still messing with her kids dad, Dewayne. Angel Pam’s baby girl is on her way to college while the other 2 sisters are off the Cain. Wen Dewayne, his fiancé and baby are killed there is one name all on it, Pam! Revenge is hurtful and Lisa a homebody to her children is stabbed in the. Idle of the street. Pam moves her babies away and now knows she has fu#ed up!!! How will Pam got off and out of this tangled web and will her girls survive?
Pam was as selfish as they came. It seemed that she was a bit psychotic as well, because the reaction that she had for the father of her children, and her twin sister, wasn't one that a normal person should have had. I even had to question the so called love that she had for her daughters, because she didn't treat them any different, than she did anyone else. She didn't love her daughters like a mother needed to love their daughters. I don't know what it was, but there was a certain type of evil that Pam had, and it was so sad to watch.
This is crazy. You would think regardless of how u feel about ya family u would neva what harm to come their way. Pam was a piece of work and cared only for herself it's sad that it took for something to happen for her to claim she loved her sister. Everyone should take a sit down n re-evaluate their lives because they all living foul and need to change. Pam will definitely get what is coming to her and I can not wait.
Terrible story. Terrible flow. Too many characters. I literally just finished and can't remember the point of the book. It just wasn't good at all. I am lucky I got it free or else I'd be mad I paid for this.
The story line was good but there were lots of grammatical errors and skipped words in the book! The whole damn family was GHETTO as hell! They were all ruthless, crazy and full of drama.
This book wasn’t greatly written but it was good in a crazy way. Because of how it ended I’ll read book 2 but I don’t think I would follow this author but hmmm you never know.
I chose this rating because as the saying goes, "It is what it is", and that is five *. I know the book title is in total opposite of the whole story. The family of Pam and Lisa seemed to have NO love nor respect for each other. The way Pam talks to her daughter s is hard enough to believe and then she has the audacity to pimp them out. "Outrageous" does not have enough letters in it to describe this "trick"! This is certainly a page turner and Big Kudos to Sonovia Alexander. I have no doubt that the next book in the trilogy will be even spicier than the first. I plan to buy it and I recommend to anyone who loves to read a great Urban Tale should do the same. Enjoy....
Pam was a wiiiiild chick who had absolutely, positively, no filter whatsoever! She threatened to knock out teeth, put foot to azz & everything else on a regular basis...and that's talking to her teen daughters. She has three daughters and so does her twin sister Lisa. Pam us mixed up so many things it's hard to imagine her being a professional, lol. Not sure where the "love" fits into the title but "ghetto" is certainly apropos.
Story could use some editing for numerous grammatical errors.
That chick Pam is crazy!!! She's very shellfish and clearly doesn't care about anyone but herself. And the way she talks to the kids and pulling a gun on one. She gets no respect whatsoever for any of that. I enjoyed the book even though I wish it was longer to answer a few more unanswered questions. Guess it's time for me to get Part 2 to see what other nonsense these ghetto people have going on.
I started reading it so I had to finish it. I really was not feeling this book. The author just seems to be all over the place with her story line. To me it just did not make sense to have so much profanity from the grandmother all the way down to the children. It seems there would have been a voice of reason in all of this gets old drama. In the end I am truly glad I did not have to pay for this book and it only cost me my time.
Is that how mothers love their kids and the rest of there family? Ok Pam you have a serious misunderstanding of life.you are being a sell out and treating you daughters like that has me puzzled. Author Sonovia up next phase tell me the logic behind the mind of this lady cause I swear she wants me to enter the pages of this book, she's being heartless. Good read!
I was hooked from the very beginning. How can a woman have her own children father killed. This story was full of twists and turns that I couldn't put it down. Her three daughters never wanted for nothing but didn't have a mother that truly loved them. There needs to be a part 2. Five stars!!!!!!!!
Very confusing, I didn't know who was talking when and a lot of misspelled words and way to many characters. The editor needs to be replaced. Even tho , grammatical it was horrible the storyline was good enough for me to keep reading. A lot of unnecessary drama tho.
Ghetto Love is a short story that will capture your interest Pam has a love and hate relationship with everyone she’s in contact even her three children. She tends to take her anger out on the ones that love her the most. Lisa is Pam’s twin sister and the total opposite. This book was good.
This book was ok, it could have been good. It kept moving from scene to scene without letting the reader know the previous scene was over. It was just jumping all over the place. There were so many errors that I almost put it down.
Intersting story that left me confused trying keep up with all the characters involved. There is a secret that the mother, Pam has and it is causing undue uphheaval in the lives of her daughters. Will look into getting the second installment.
SADLY THERE WILL MORE THAN LIKELY BE ANOTHER PART TO THIS STORY. I REALLY CAN'T SAY IT WAS BAD...BUT INDEED DIFFERENT. THE ERRORS IN GRAMMAR AND SPELLING WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT....AND TOO MUCH DECEPTION. I DON'T CARE FOR PAM AT ALL...I WONDER WHO GOT SHOT...
Ummm ok.. I'm speechless this was a waste of time. the grammar was wrong and the ending was stupid...they just going ard killing everyone and nothing is being done bat it...
OMG Pam is a trip I wouldn't think she do her daughter like that but she a beast tho and I wonder what's going to happen because I have to read Ghetto Love 2 because I wonder will the sisters stick together or fall apart
it was a great short story, I was really wanting more and wanted everything to keep going but nonetheless I wasn't disappointed. ill be getting book 2 so I can find out how it all ended
