في مدينة باهتة وكئيبة، تمدّ فتاة صغيرة يد العون لجارتها المسنّة، حاملةً معها الأكياس إلى منزلها. يُلامس لطف الفتاة قلب الجارة المسنّة، وعندما ترى الجارة عصافير على شرفتها، تقرّر إطعامها. تحلّق العصافير وتهبط على شجرة، حيث يحاول رجل مسنّ عبور شارع مزدحم. يتدخّل شاب لمساعدته في عبور الشارع المزدحم… وهكذا، تمتدّ أفعال الخير في المدينة وفي النهاية تعود الى الفتاة التي بدأت عمل الخير، وتتحول المدينة تدريجيا من باهتة الى ملونة ومشرقة.

تبعث هذه القصّة البهجة في قلوب قارئيها وتوضّح تأثير الأعمال الصالحة ليس فقط على القائم بالفعل ولكن على المجتمع بأسره.

In a city steeped in dullness and gloom, a young girl extends a helping hand to her elderly neighbor, carrying bags to her doorstep. About the author

Sara lives in Egypt where she was born, raised and got her BA in History. She is a multi-talented person, so when you learn that she can do a lot of things and has worked a few jobs that don't relate to each other please don't be surprised! For that's how she found her path to herself.
She has been a graphic designer for over a decade and still enjoys it. She participated in a programming scholarship a long time ago and even though she learned and loved developing Apps, she found it wasn't a love that will stay forever and eventually quit her job, she misses it sometimes, though she never regrets giving it up. She loves painting and drawing ever since she can remember, one day she found herself teaching preschool kids how to draw and miss around with colors AND IT WAS TOO FUN.
Becoming a writer was the missing piece! Even though she used to draw and write a lot of stories in her notebooks since she was nine years old, it took her too long to figure out that writing is what she's been looking for. And now everything fits perfectly.
Spends most of her day thinking and dreaming of a world full of goodness and a lot of peaceful moments. Too fond of children and whatever brings them joy. And I may tell you that if you one day happened to want to meet her, you will probably find her in a library or a bookshop talking to her favorite old books and getting introduced to many new ones (and please if you find her there, don't disturb their conversation and wait for them to catch up a bit) For her love for books beyond her love for food (and she really loves food).

تعيش سارة في مصر حيث ولدت وتربت وحصلت على ليسانس الآداب قسم تاريخ. هى شخص متعدد المواهب ، لذلك عندما تعلم أنها تستطيع القيام بالكثير من الأشياء وعملت في عدد قليل من الوظائف التي لا تتعلق ببعضها البعض، من فضلك لا تقلق، هكذا وجدت طريقها إلى نفسها. عملت كمصممة جرافيك لأكثر من عقد من الزمان وما زالت تستمتع بذلك. ألتحقت بمنحة دراسية للبرمجة منذ وقت طويل جداً، وعلى الرغم من أنها تعلمت وأحبت تطوير التطبيقات، إلا أنها وجدت أنه حباً لن يبقى معها إلى الأبد، في نهاية تركت وظيفتها كمطورة برامج ، على الرغم من أنها تفتقدها أحياناً، إلا أنها لم تندم أبداً عن التخلي عنها أحبت الرسم منذ صغرها، وفى أحد الأيام وجدت نفسها معلمة رسم لأطفال مرحلة ما قبل المدرسة كيفية الرسم واللعب بالألوان، وكان أمراً ممتعاً للغاية. أن تصبح كاتبة كان القطعة المفقودة بحياتها! على الرغم من أنها اعتادت رسم وكتابة الكثير من القصص في دفاترها منذ أن كانت في التاسعة من عمرها ، إلا أن الأمر أستغرق منها وقتاَ طويلاً لتكتشف أن الكتابة هي ما كانت تبحث عنه. الآن كل شيء مناسب تماماَ. تقضي معظم يومها في التفكير والحلم بعالم مليء بالخير والكثير من اللحظات الهادئة المسالمة. مغرمة جدا بالأطفال وكل ما يجلب لهم السعادة والبهجة. أستطيع أن أخبرك أنك أن أردت فى أحد الأيام أن تقابلها، فمن المحتمل أن تجدها في المكتبة العامة أو مكتبة بيع الكتب تتحدث إلى كتبها القديمة المفضلة وتتعرف على العديد من الكتب الجديدة ويرجى إذا وجدتها هناك، أن لا تقطع محادثتهم والانتظار قليلاً حتى انتهاء حديثهم فحبها للكتب يتجاوز حبها للطعام(وهى بالمناسبة محبه جداً للطعام).

First time to be exposed to the concept of silent book and especially for children
Absolutely loved it, you can understand the message of the book clearly, the drawings are amazing, the plot makes sense.
Would like to see more of silent books for adults. Looking forward for more work from the author and the artist as well
