About the author

Growing up in North West England and in Germany, Anna wrote plays about talking animals, and stories about naughty children, and drew on every available surface. After school, she did an Art Foundation course, then a degree in German Literature & Philosophy at Oxford University. Peek Inside the Zoo is a beautifully illustrated lift the flap book. Filled to the brim with lots of animals and information about all the special things they do. Having a little one whose just completely obsessed with all things animals. Makes you love this book all the more. This book is a perfect addition to your animal loving family shelf! :)

We love this series. Even though it is appropriate for toddlers, preschoolers and even kinder and first grade kiddos will enjoy these books. The pages are sturdy but without a board book feel. The illustrations are whimsical but I do wish they were actual photographs. Nonetheless, still an engaging books with surprises throughout. In this one you visit a zoo with the requisite animals.

He was immediately interested in this one and was smiling from the start. He did have a mid story vomit (he had too much to drink on New Year's Eve), but it didn't distract him from the book.
