Jack borrowed this book from the Ashland Public Library. I picked it because he has enjoyed many other books in this series, and I am trying to get him to try new books again.

He seemed somewhat excited when I got the book out, and felt the pig’s nose. He got a bit distracted because some other kid had colored on the first page. He did feel some of the textures, but lost interest toward the end. I tried to engage him with pig snorts, which he loves, but no dice. Lol

My baby is born in the year of the pig, so I feel like I relate to this book. I like how this book can journey with my baby through his growing up years. Right now, he is scratching the different textures. I look forward to him growing up and trying to blend the sounds of the vocabulary words (not as easy as pie, if I may add!)

Well this time it is a pig and everything else is exactly the same.
Nothing amazing here, young ones can discover new textures, but really you only ever need to get one of these books, imagine if they did the series with one being about texture the next about colour, then some, then well you get it, but anyway...
