Okay, for 3/4 of this book I wanted to smack the main character. She made me really mad even though I understand that she is 1. Hurting and 2. Insecure in herself.

But, the end of the book pulls it together and I actually felt great compassion for her.

Gotta give it to the author. She built up the characters enough that I cared what happened. Will I read the rest of the series? Likely.

The author’s descriptive writing painted such a vivid picture that I could practically smell the espresso, hear the bustling piazzas, and of course—taste the gelato. Every flavor described made me wish this book came with actual samples!

The characters were lovable, relatable, and full of charm. I felt invested in their growth and relationships, and it was easy to feel connected to their story. The ending tied everything together beautifully, leaving me smiling and satisfied while still excited for what’s to come in the series.

Italy, a country that is filled with good food, wine and architecture where anyone at anytime can fall in love. This story was picturesque and gave all the feels of a cozy time in Italy. It made me miss living in Italy all over again.

Ava Walker learned the power of being yourself is the best power you can have in this world. I truly enjoyed the development of her character and love story and the connection of how grief can affect you.

This was a story that hit home for me inspiring me to rekindle the flame of my inner self after grief made me someone else. Gelato Forever helped me navigate my own personal losses and made me understand that even though you grieve a loved one you don't have to lose yourself. 💖

Oh my, this book created a gelato craving for me.

Love, food, mistaken identity, karaoke, first loves, fulfilling your dreams -- this book has all of that.

Although, in real life, I would have corrected someone if they mistaken me for my sister or someone else, especially if it was a boy I had feelings for since middle school.

Ok, Ava is 24 years old, but so insecure it's like she's stuck as a teenager. Probably from losing her mom at 14, which is totally understandable and heartbreaking. And ugg her father should not have let her step up and b a substitute mother to her other 4 sisters. Not cool! She deserved to b a regular teen too. He's the parent! Rant over

Easy, fun, cute story. The whole plot was based off one very fixable mistake, but then the plot would be gone. Loved that the last 1/3 had more focus on her gelato making (whole reason she went to Italy). Overall cute and I like that it was kept clean :) good luck to this indie author for future books!

3 stars for the Gelato parts of the book. They were interesting and informative and enjoyable. I did not care for Ava, the main character. She is whiny and other than her ability to make great gelato, sort of dumb. The romance part was over done with reputative descriptions of Tyler's looks and body.
