The amount of technical data far exceeds my level of interest. It is so good to hear about runners on into 50's, 60's, and 70's. If I find myself falling into marathons I will try this book again.

A guide to running geared toward older [over 40] types who are either beginners or experienced runners. Contains information about training and stretching exercises. There are numerous tables and photos. Getting ready for and taking part in races is discussed in detail This is a good breakdown on running. My copy was a free review copy.

This is a very useful book about running for older runners, packed full of information about health, nutrition, avoiding injuries, etc., and including very detailed plans for training for specific races of whatever distance you might want to tackle.
