Town to town and here and there, busy trucks are everywhere. A father and son take us on a journey from farms to cities, where vehicles from buses to fire trucks are working every day, through the seasons, from morning until a final good night. Kent Culotta’s bright and lively illustrations are the perfect complement to singer/songwriter, poet, and renowned performer, Eric Ode’s delightfully engaging rhyming text, bound to become a read-aloud favorite at storytime and bedtime!
Eric Ode takes readers for a ride with a father and son as they drive around their city and discover all the trucks at work there.
My 3yo son LOVES this book. I brought it out as something new to read for our vacation and we have read it almost every night since. It has a really wide range of trucks, from construction to mail trucks. I also like that as you read the illustrations show different seasons and weather, so you can talk about that as well. A great book for any kid that loves trucks.

A sweet book written in poetic verse all about trucks! Mail trucks, street sweepers, cement trucks, tractors and the list goes on! The son and his father ride all around the city just to look at trucks. A fun book that also shows the relationship between the father and the son. So many things to talk about after reading this book. If you do a lesson on transportation, this is the book to use!
This is a good rhyming book about vehicles and how they function. A father and his son travel through town and through the seasons to see each type of vehicle in action. It is a good book for young children who like vehicles.
