For those who need a little pick me up without being bogged down by common knowledge ideas or someone talking down to you.

I enjoyed reading what recommendations she had for certain body types to wear certain things to flatter that body type. Also what every woman should own and have in her closet! Go to classics and LBD info is interesting and not something you read everyday. When I am out clothes shopping I keep some of the info I picked up from this book in mind. Well made classics are a better buy then trying to keep up to date with whats in style for the moment. I skimmed the other chapters but mainly focused on the fashion portion. Overall good book. I bought mine at a garage sale for 50 cents. Great bargain!

I've always enjoyed listening to Emme on television though I haven't seen her in a long while so it made me want to read her book. It is a happy, encouraging little book and easy to read.
