This is better than the first in the series, and the characters are more rounded as they've been outlined in the previous book.

I read more then half way but because I didn’t like the writing or storyline, I just couldn’t finish this book & here’s why;
1. The language was very casual (even for diary entries) and used to many abbreviations
2. The storyline was her own thoughts and skimming over every scene. (Things I wanted to know more about were missed or overlooked and not mentioned again)
3. Her interests and situations I wasn’t invested in (owning nail salon, drinking, dressing to impress, football & boyfriend good / bad at the same time)
4. Boyfriend’s nick name for FMC “Boss lady”, “yes Boss Lady” turned me off the relationship no matter of her changing opinions of him.
5. Diary entries were very short not even a whole chapter (barely a page sometimes) and had a time stamp of when written not time of the event.
I was surprised how much I tried to push myself to finish it but the motivation to do so slowly slipped away
