Loved this book and learned so much about the interaction between humans and pets and how pets are contracted to belong to us so that we can learn from them, shame a lot of people are still having learning problems. You really have to read this book which is easy to understand and most beneficial for the body mind and soul, which centers around life's energies and shows how to unblock negative feelings about yourself. Uses techniques and tools to help you change your life.

I rated this a 2 because although I did not find it valuable, it may be for someone else. I found the labels and definitions of soul contracts not needed for this topic. It's a little like coming up with a brand name for yoga. The epilogue of animal communication was enthralling though and I would have enjoyed a whole book about it.

Definitely and intentionally a slow read because you need to pause and reflect. Great book to work thru some personal things and definitely one I’ll be rereading and working thru more things.

Highly recommend!

I first saw an interview on YouTube - Afterlife TV with Bob Olson....and I really liked what Danielle said and her energy. I felt her energy was infectious. I then pre-purchased her book and did a bit of research online - and - then I bit the bullet and made an actual appt with her to help me figure out my Soul Contracts.

An eye opening phone call. She didn't pick up on something very recent and close to me - but - she did pick up on something I had long ago buried and many other things in between...and we talked about my Soul Contracts how to unblock where I feel blocked.

I started reading the book the day it was made available. It's not a quick read, meaning, you can't just glance through the words. You need to pay attention...but to me it makes sense, it makes perfect sense on how we make Soul Contracts and how to "dissolve them". Granted, I haven't tried any of the exercises yet, but I plan to. It was one of those things that you read, and you know it to be true and you say to yourself, I can't believe I didn't know that all along, or maybe I did.

My only critique of the book is this: At the beginning of the book she talks about how she got into the business and reading animal energy and she was telling some of those stories. I could have read 400 pages about the animals alone - it was equally as fascinating to me.

I came across the term “soul contacts” in an online article and wanted to know more, so I searched for books relating to the idea and chose this one. The author’s definition of soul contracts as outlined in this book was very confusing though: while reading, numerous times I found myself doing a web search to remind myself what soul contracts were, again, and why I’d purchased this book. As soon as I’d see a firm definition through a Google search, I’d be back on track but the definition that made sense to me was never mentioned within these pages.

I was terribly confused between the author’s explanation of seed thoughts, root belief systems, soul contracts, lifetime soul contracts, discordant emotions,…just once, I would have loved to see these DEFINED and perhaps a flow chart explaining how they all go together. Not “Carol’s soul contract is that she must work all the time. This stems from her root belief that she’s not worthy.” WHAT?? (Made up example but incredibly similar to the examples found in the pages.)

The exercises were great and helpful, but it was difficult to be completely in the moment because of the lack of clarity between the various terms that were mentioned throughout the book.

What struck me most about this book were the distinct similarities between what the author terms soul contracts and seed thoughts and the concept of life traps. If you’ve ever read anything about life traps and life trap therapy there’s going to be a lot in here that’s familiar to you.

If you’re into Akashic Records there will be something here for you too, but it is introduced very late in the piece.

I didn’t agree with all the logic, but I’m glad that I read it through till the end. It’s an interesting perspective and I see value in a lot of the affirmations. The author does touch on contracts and agreements we make with other souls and those we have with animals, but it’s primarily about you and working on your own inner soul system, so if you’re looking for something that’s specific to relationships with others then this one might not be for you.

I've been reading books for 50 years, and always taken pride in the fact I have never quit reading a book. I always finished a book once begun, until today!

Add a plot and call it a Sci-Fi/Fantasy novel, and it might be a good read. After all pets "telling" the author intimate details about life in their home, and actions of the humans therein residing is in that domain. And, the premise that the person who held the door for you at the bank had contracted with you before birth to perform that kindness is way out there.

I have an imagination, and LOVE to read! But, this was listed as non-fiction. Even I have my limits.

This was not what I expected from the cover of the book. It is not about Soul contracts made pre-birth, but ones you have made with yourself in this or previous lives. These can cause real hardcore blocks in our lives. Much of the work can be done in various ways, but it was an interesting read.
I did all the exercises, and recommend the book absolutely. Just be aware of what you are expecting from the book. For what it is about, it can absolutely be very helpful, if you are willing to do the work.
The exercises are very easy, but can require deep emotional searches and experiences, depending on what soul contracts you are working on.
I recommend reading all exercises before doing them. The writing in each step is containing too much information. It could have been done easier, and explained beforehand.

This book solidified a lot of theories I held in my heart...that animals were here for us for a purpose and to help us expand and grow in our current life. What I didn't expect, was to uncover other relationships in my life that were sealed with a 'contract' based on past life experiences.

Now, your heart and mind has to be open to a little bit of woo-woo, but if you can, I think you'll find answers to most of your most challenging problems and relationships.

I felt like I was pushing myself through this one. There are insightful parts and yet I also found it convoluted. The FAQ at the back turned out to be my favorite section as it was concise and to the point.

I did like the hands on exercises. Just felt like lots of back and forth and in need of more clarity, structure and less repetition.

Very useful handbook to understand the soul-related material and provide clear ways to clean up. The writing style is easy to read and you can find some humor in it.

I was browsing around looking for something to read at my local Barnes and Noble, when I came upon the author who was promoting her new book. We had a lovely chat about how she came to write it, and I left with book in hand. I found her book provided insightful and practical tips to gain a better understanding of self.

A great system to clear the cobwebs of our soul contracts that we live with every day. Will read it again, and again and put sticky notes on many pages. A must-read for everyone to shine a light on unlimited beliefs and get unstuck.
