If you are a beginning photographer who finds that they might want to take great photos and get serious, this is a fantastic way to learn. There isn't much of community left in PWS Books, but there are some folks who are still participating. Read it for the fantastic info & take a shot at the assignments. You'll learn a lot! Excellent!

Clear explanation of the elements of photo composition. I could use a little more visual theory, but this is more a how-to book --a very good one at that.
