Home for his brother’s wedding, Alex Karlsson meets a woman who captures his attention and makes him start thinking about the future. As the founder of the Marriage First ministry, Alex has always advocated sexual purity and waiting for marriage. His prayer has been to find a wife who also feels the same way. He feels a connection with Serena Menard and wonders if she might be the one he’s been waiting for all these years.

Serena can’t deny that Alex holds an attraction for her, but she is fairly certain that she is not the wife he been praying for. He doesn’t seem to get her subtle hints that she doesn’t think a relationship between them is a good idea. Finally she decides to give him a chance, hoping that he will see her through God’s eyes and that love will prevail.

Will long held ideals and secrets doom their relationship before it even starts? Or will they able to trust God when all hope seems lost?

Damian and Rachel’s story also continues…come see what has happened to change their lives forever.

Another good Christian romance by Kimberly Rae Jordan that focuses God's love and forgiveness for our past mistakes and waiting for God's timing in our lives. I really identified with Serena who has a sinful past and feels rejected by Alex who she loves. Knowing God loves us and forgives us gives us hope, and yet we still seek acceptance by mankind which may or may not come. Serena is a strong, faithful woman who has to make the right decision no matter how much it hurts. Ms. Jordan creates endearing characters who are all too 'human' and in need of God's grace, mercy and love. This is book 2 in a series. I recommend book 1, "Waiting for Rachel" and look forward to reading book 3.

3.5 Stars.

I probably would have liked this one better than the first if I had read it first. The characters were a bit more exciting. But I was annoyed that the same basic premise continued from the first. Non-virginal girl meets virginal guy. Will virginal guy accept her? But at the heart of it, it's a good story and has a good message. Another example of what I would call Christian chick-lit. If you like chick-lit without sex, this is a great read.

The second in the Karlsson Boys series was a delight to read. Son #2, Alex, comes home for his brother's wedding and encounters the lovely church secretary, Serena. The attraction is immediate, but she has secrets. Can Alex accept what he finds out?

Fantastic Book

The Karlsson Boys Series is breathtaking. The presence of God is throughout these books. Reading these books helps you understand that tragedy in your life can be healed by trusting God. Looking forward to the last book in this series.

Worth the Wait!

It was difficult imagining how God could reconcile their differences, but He did. Alex nearly missed out on his happiness because of his biases. Serena was redeemed, renewed, and refocused.

The book was wonderful. A pleasant sequel to the first. I love how the Author shows how God works in our live especially when we can not comprehend his plan.

Imagine marrying the person you love after an up and down relationship.

Rachel marries Damian after she almost loses her daughter in a truck it by a train accident.

Then Alex Damian's brother walks into the church where Serena works as secretary and has a list little fun with him before allowing him to disturb Damian who was busy trying to write his wedding vows.

Want to know who Alex falls in love with but does it work both ways. Read chapter two and find out.

Happy reading!

This is a sweet story. One of the three brothers. Each one is unique. This story is good in its ability to look at sexual desire.
