At the age of seventeen, Reiss Chambers knew he was in trouble the moment he realized that Ava was never going to marry someone like him—the poor gardener’s son. Even though everyone was against them, Reece stood his ground, knowing that the only thing that mattered was Ava. As long as she stayed true to their love, he could endure whatever life threw at him.

Her family opposed the relationship from the beginning. The more Ava’s parents meddled, the difficult it got. When Ava’s ex came back into her life, the worse things became. Witnessing Ava betray him, he walked away vowing to never look back.

Ten years later, they crossed paths again. This time, Reiss was no longer poor nor was he easily recognizable.

Young love. Betrayal. Agony. After all that, could a man truly forget his first heartbreak and move on without some form of closure?

First i must say before you start this book you need 3 things:tissues, tylenol, and good glass of wine.I liked the first book in the series but this one i adore, such emotional,angst,heart-breaking book.

Ava is 16 years old rich girl she has and get everything she wants,Ress is 17 years old boy,he lives for the moment ,have good time with friends and girls in his bad, his father is gardner in Ava parents mansion so that summer he took the job to help his father ,little did he know that summer will forever change his and Ava life. Ava persues Reiss until he gives in to her and his desire, they try to hide their love but one day the mother of Ava will see them kissing and everything will start to collapse.Bombarded with demands from her mother to left him and constantly listing that Reiss only want her money, Ava know that she love Reiss but they come from different worlds. When her of and on boyfriend Asthon will show in her house along with her friends, she make a choice she will regret for 10 years,She broke-up with Reisse in such spiteful way.I must admit I hated her. From the page 70-80 I was literally crying for Reiss and Ava behaviour.

“Ava, I promise you I’ll be smart. I’ll make a huge amount of money so you won’t be embarrassed of me. Don’t end it—I beg you “Please … don’t leave me, Ava. I love you. I love you so bloody much that I’m willing to be someone who would be worthy of you. Let me prove it to you, just don’t end things with me.”

”You’re nothing but a low-class guy whose one ambition in life is to use your charms to get someone with money. Well, your luck ran out with me, so you better find another victim to use and abuse because it surely isn’t me any longer. You’re a pathetic, disrespectful bastard. You’re nothing but a low-class guy whose one ambition in life is to use your charms to get someone with money. Well, your luck ran out with me, so you better find another victim to use and abuse because it surely isn’t me any longer. You’re a pathetic, disrespectful bastard. ”

10 years later Ava is married to Ashton, she think Reisse died in car accident that night when she left him.She is a shell of a woman she was before, her guilty and love for Reiss are always in her heart. One night in club she hear Reiss laughter, she know that he can 't be but she still go to see the men and when he turn to her she stared it in blue eyes, in Reisse beautiful face.
description

But this man say his name is Graig Chambers, disappointment and hurt Ava run.Next day she search for him and go see him,Ava know that she wants to see him only because his simularty to Reiss so after he seduce her they have hot night and then he tell her the suprise of her life.He is her love how she moured, and griving for one decade Reisse Chambers. But this time he despise her.

“I don’t ever want to see you again, so stop looking for me. That part of me … He died a decade ago. Goodbye, Ava.

description

Next 50% are full with emotions and angusty,i was litturaly glued to my seat while I read it ,i wanted they to have HEA and after so many turnes I was asking myself haw they will achive that. But in the end was all perfect

Reisee Chambers
OMG I loved him and I think my heart was breaking for him,his love and hate for Ava will shater you,he want to let Ava again but he is scared Ava will left him and his broken heart this time will not recover. On top of all he was such alpha, possessive man and even when he is completely jerk to Ava you love him and and I was into book that in one time I was yelling on Kindle because I wanted so bad he to forgive her.

Ava
I liked her in the beginning ,those 10 pages I despase her but I try to understand her,she was young and naive. But after she found Reiss she never give up from him,she lose her ego and dignity only to be with him,she knew destiny give only 2 chance so she make everything Reisse to love her again.

”There you go again—always ready to shut me out. I get it. I was a terrible, rotten to the core, young girl, and I deserved to be crucified, but haven’t I suffered enough?”I fucking love you, and I see through you—it’s obvious you don’t believe me. But give me a chance to prove you wrong. I’ve changed. I’ve given up everything to follow your whims. When you treat me like I’m nothing except a body to play with, even after all the anguish, I still make excuses for you. You punish me, and I’m letting you”“because I’m still hopeful … because, even after all of this, I still believe there’s a part of you that remains mine, no matter how much you claimed to have fallen for someone else. I don’t care—I’m here, still trying to prove you wrong, even if it’s killing me inside.”

Overall amazing and amazing book, can t wait to read more from author.

SPOILER!

There were a few inconsistencies. The author was trying to make us think that Reiss doesn't know who Ava was... but then there's this 'Forgiveness' shit that he said so it was a hint, but then in his another POV, it was kind of like he really didn't know her, so yeah, I found that kind of...meh! That was the only thing that I didn't like about the story, it just didn't add up.

I don't know if the author is British or not, but the words 'bloody hell' or other British words kind of didn't sound that good.. I've read a lot of books written by British authors and those words just flows, it didn't sound weird but in this book, I don't know, it didn't match or it was just not good to hear or read.

I would have loved it if Ashton was an asshole, I kinda felt sorry for him. I actually thought at first that he was a cheating husband but he wasn't.

I've read a lot of Pamela Ann's novels and I love all of them, well, most coz I didn't like the Chasing series. I love her writing style.

I was enjoying the story that I didn't notice I was already 90% done! And I felt like it wasn't enough, there's still a lot of things that could happen. It was too short for my liking and I was ranting but when the 'terrorist attack' happened, It was enough... I just wish it was longer!! but it was good! I love the drama, the characters and the story flow!!

To be honost I had to write something...anything about this book so that people would know how much I honostly loved it!
I read the first in the series and knew that this author had what it took because it was a really good book. One that wasn't easy to put down but yes it was possible. Now this book...there was no way I could put it down. I have seriously been curled on the couch all day reading it. It was one that HAD to be finished asap...I couldn't stand not know what was going to happen next!
The characters..wow the characters! I LOVED THEM...and hated them...then loved them fully again. There was honostly so many feelings wrapped up in this book for me I am now mentally and emotionally exhausted ..lol. I wouldn't change a thing though. These character's had me so envolved in there lives I felt like these were people I actually knew. I hurt for them at times, wanted to smack them at others and then I hoped for them to be happy. I actually needed for them to be happy. I loved their history and how tragic it was. For me that was a huge part of who they were now. Even though I hated that they went through this I felt it made them who they are and was nessasary for this story. Their time together then, even as brief as it was, was hot..and built a bond that would never be broken. Which brings us to the now. Even their story now is so great that I cant get over it. I love a second chance love story but I hate when they get back together as if nothing heartbreaking and utterly life changing never happened at all. With these two that wasn't the case. Trust had to be earned and forgiveness had to be given. They had to grow together and build from the bottom and I loved that. I loved to read their journey of coming back together and have to say that I cant wait to read more from Ms Ann:))

Escape into my Reads Book Blog

I could not get enough of this book and completely fell in love with Falling for Ava. Can you ever forget your first love even though they betrayed you and threw your love away? Not Reiss Chambers who was left heartbroken and forced to move on leaving behind his true love. This book had a very Romeo & Juliet/Pride & Prejudice vibe with a clash of rich v poor. Ava is spoilt and used to getting what she wants so when she sees Reiss for the first time she goes after him. Ava’s feelings for Reiss surprise her as she spends time with him and falls in love, but soon she is reminded of her status by her mother and is left in turmoil as she lets Reiss go due to his lack of wealth. As the years pass Ava regrets her decision of loosing Reiss as memories of him haunt her. This book delivers angst, passion, heartache, revenge and second chance romance leaving your emotions all over the place. I loved Reiss he was hell bent on making Ava suffer for not loving him, yes he was cold and an ass towards her but I revelled in how Ava showed him she belonged to him no matter how ill he acted towards her. I seriously could not get enough of this book and wanted more. I loved how the tables were turned and my heart broke for Reiss, he was sexy, sweet, possessive and his heart belonged to Ava no matter how much he denied loving her. I gave this four stars because I really wanted to see more of Reiss and Ava’s future. The epilogue was too short for me and I wanted more because the story was that good.

SECOND CHANCE AT LOVE

I've read this author's books before and she's a bit hit and miss for me. This particular story was just okay IMO. The premise is a well used one, a poor gardeners son falling for the young daughter of the rich household where he works. Of course it all comes tumbling down about their ears. Ten years later they meet again and Reiss wants revenge on Ava.

Reiss is no longer the poor gardeners son he's a billionaire! How he became richer than Croesus we're not told, and that set the tone for this story so much was glossed over. Ava hasn't seen Reiss for ten years and had no idea what had happened to him or where he was, but he's rich and famous so that didn't sit well with me, surely she might have seen his picture in magazines, newspapers or on the Internet. Then there's Ava, the younger version of her was not very nice, and that's me being polite. Although she seems to have had a personality transplant, and is a totally different person in the present. Reiss already has a mistress when he meets up with Ava in the present, he has been seeing a while, so I expected some drama from that, but there was none. The sex scenes were hot though.
Although I quite enjoyed this it lacked the spark of some of her other romances.

What an enjoyable read! Even though it was quite predictable, it was really refreshing to see the tables turned. Meaning, it's not the hero who did some colossal mistake that caused the couple to be separated for years, but instead it is the heroine is the one that f****ed and had to pay for it. Dearly.
It was so interesting that I finished it in one sitting, something that rarely happens to me.

First of all, I have been patiently waiting for this book and it was so worth it.
Loved the mixed present with past, where's been explained Ava's and Reiss's relationship. And also if sometimes Reiss's hatred brought up his assholeness, he couldn't help to have strong attraction for Ava, while Ava had always loved him.
This book is very exciting writen. As my opinion Pamela did really great job.

Second chance

I finally got to read this book! I didn't know it was revamped or whatever. I had it on my wish list forever. Until I was looking around I saw with a different cover. So worth the wait.

Ava is a sweet women who was living with regret about the boy love and thought had died. Reiss is the boy who loved her, but felt betrayed by her. It made for exciting love story.

I somehow did not like Ava as a character. The lies, betrayal that she put the guy through, despite really connecting with the story, the ideology is something I could not connect with.

The book just did not resonate with me. Nor did it have the sweetness and hotness of the first book in the series. Not a huge fan!

This is an erotic love story of ups and downs spanning over more than a decade. It's sort of a Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous/Soap Opera/Reality TV/ mashup. Sometimes when reading, you just feel the need for some drama and angst. When the feeling hits, Pamela Ann has you covered.

Falling for Ava starts as a star-crossed lovers tale. Ava is your standard trust fund brat who tries to play around with Reiss, the help's son. He instantly falls for her. She has more feelings than planned for him, but she's confused by her heart and her brain (and the words her mother feeds her). Ava makes a decision that haunts her nonstop even years later.
Ava was the symbol of my past and my idiocy, and whatever happened from here on out, I would never put her on a pedestal again.

Was I that blinded by my own desires that I couldn't see him for what he truly was? A broken man. A shattered man of my own making.

So of course these two put each other through and emotional roller coaster. And during this up and down plenty of sex takes place.
His left hand cupped my face, staring at me as if he was seeing me for the first time. His eyes had always possessed the power to disarm me.
His cock was still deep inside of me throbbing enormously from blatant arousal, but he remained still, unmoving as he penetrated deeply into my eyes.

I wouldn't consider this to be a life-changing read, but rather a fun time that focuses on other people's drama—an escape from your own day-to-day life. If you are looking for a book that is deep, that makes you think, or is dark, symbolic, funny or wholesome, this is not it. If you want to read about sexy, couture, erotic, jealous, animalistic, beautiful people and scenes, this is the book for you.

Falling for Ava was much better than some of the other Pamela Ann books I've read recently. I absolutely loved the first couple of books of hers that I've read (and at this point, I've read almost all of her books), but after a while, I grew tired of the same formula (which typically includes the hero being verbally abusive) with different characters being repeated over and over again.

The formula for Falling for Ava was a tad different in that it was a second chance lovestory; so we had a beautiful tale of young love that was destroyed because Reiss and Ava were from two very different worlds. Ten years later, shattered by Ava's previous refusal of his love, Reiss has become emotionally withdrawn while attempting to carry on with his life without her. He's grown up to do all the things he vowed to do in order to keep her love, but without her, he's has a revolving door of women coming in and out of his life and he seems quite happy with how his life has turned out. That is until Ava comes back into his life.

After believing that Reiss has been dead for ten years, Ava has been living with the guilt of refusing him and has tried to move on with her life. She's married, and has attempted to build a life with her husband, but she has been left a hollow shell of the girl she once was. But after a chance encounter with Reiss Ava's world gets sent into a tailspin and only he can help level her out.

The reunion wasn't a happy one though, and Reiss was a huge jerk upon their reaccquaintance. I loved how sweet and caring young Reiss was, and I kept hoping that he would eventually reappear. It took a bit of a scare, but eventually he did, so I found that to be a redeeming quality in the book.

Having felt like I had waited forever for this novel I was blown away right from the beginning.

Let me just say I loved Ava and her courage and strength. She is by far one of my favorite female leads. After being a selfish uncaring brat she has spent the last ten years in purgatory over the mistakes she has made as a teenager. After finding out to late that she was so completely in love with Reiss she has never in her heart felt like he really died that night. Something was just always missing. When she meats a man that could be Reiss's doppleganger she makes a decision that will change her life forever.

While reading the book I wanted to throw my novel so many times when dealing with Craig and all of his assholeness. He was a jerk of the highest order. i could understand his pain and some of his reasons on why he did what he did but I just wanted him to forgive. Yeah she was a kid and she royally screwed up but so does everyone at that age.

With all of the passion and possessiveness of a true alpha male Craig will drive you up the wall and then turn around and make you so wet with wanting that your kindle will burn you with the heat between Ava and Craig.

Do yourself a favor and pick up this book. Its a must read for those whole love a true Alpha male with an equally strong heroine. Now lets just hope that Pamela Ann won't keep us waiting to long for the next installment of this epic series.

I was kindly given this book from the Author for an honest review.
I loved the instant chemistry between and unlikely pair one from wealth and money and one that is the gardeners son. Ava's forward attempts at catching Reiss's attention made me laugh at times and also love that she is such a strong willed girl. Her actions were quite impressive and the way Riess couldn't resist how alive she made him feel at such a young age.

But in a world of money and social standings how likely is it that even a love so strong can survive? Reiss has a way of making her feel things she knows she shouldn't a fling of sorts isn't supposed to last but how do you deny such feelings even though you know it will never work in the world you live in.

There were times in this book I laughed and times I cried for the emotion it evoked going through this journey of their lives.

I don't want to say to much but Pamela Ann again has blown it out of the water her books are brilliantly written and this one exceeded my expectations by far.
If you haven't read her series make sure you do cause they are amazing pulling you into a world of hope, love and tragedy at times.

3.25 I know goodread doesn't give those .25 but I jyst couldn't give a 4. but what does it mean?
just that I enjoyed the book but it's neither in my favorite.
it was a story about teenager in love but where love was quite sure and unsure but with experience and event could sometimes help someone to figure what was love. So there was Ava who learned that and live on guilt until she met billionaire extraordinaire Craig. Where the past meet the present. but he wasn't her former lover. the poor young boy who felt in love with her. in love where that love was so selfless.
So this book showed love in its purest, love while scared, furious, selfless, forgiveness. where the second chances worth no price and precious.

Imagine me saying this review with a very british accent. This book is very british - hence british billionaires yeah.

Ava is a spoiled mixed up richie who makes a fatal flaw when she was young - she gives up on true love. The book is really a sort of second chances sort of deal. Ava marries a friend Ashton but the passion is not like it was with her first love Reiss. Then everything that Ava thought to be true was not and she decides to try and rectify the past.

Reiss is truly broken but he comes back to light Ava and he tries to keep his distance and perserve his heart but that does not work as well as he planned.

I like a good Pamela Ann book. Always fun to read.

Reiss and Ava's love for one another is tempestuous. Intense emotions, betrayal and tragedy are the basis for this book. These characters are extremely well written. You are able feel the pain, love and agony portrayed in these characters. The only thing that seemed to lack was the drama. If you have read Pamela's books they have never ending drama which makes them so fun to read but this one seemed a little subdued. If your a fan of Pamela's you will still enjoy this book. If you are not a fan read her books you will become one.

Falling for Ava
Ashton & Ava have been married for 10 years & unsuccessfully been trying for a baby . One night she meets a man called Craig who looks remarkably like her lost love Reiss who she has mourned all those years . After one night with Craig she gets pregnant & her world gets turned upside down . This is their story.
I loved this book . Well written & adored the two main characters who I rooted for from the start & knew they would work it out in the end. Couldn't put it down ! Highly recommended

Just like the Chasing Series (i totally love it) and the It's Always Been You Series (i endure sleepless night because of this. LOL)
so i am very looking forward for Falling for My Husband (dont worry, i will minimize my expectation so that i will not ruin the entire book. Hahaha

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Awesome! This seemed like a different type of writing style for Pamela Ann - I loved it even more than her other books. This one was a complete stand alone. We learned about the past and what led to how the characters were today. Ava and Reiss had a great connection. Will there be more? I wouldn't mind more for this couple in the future!

Now I had a hard time finishing this one.

I don't know what I hated more, was it the fact that she a lying cheating bitch or that she seems to have no self worth nor control.

And just when I was beginning to enjoy the book it ended. Seems to anticlimactic for me. It was a bit predictable and the plot was loose. I hated the first half of the book, because of the heroine.

I don't know if I'm going to read more of her works, this is the first novel from Pamela Ann. Maybe next time.

That was one emotionally charged novel!! I loved that while I was reading I just didn't know how it was going to turn out! I really felt for Ava all throughout the book. I wanted really wanted to cry anytime she was upset. Pamela once again did an amazing job writing so that the reader feels emotionally involved. Can't wait for Pamela's next book!!

Love this so much, of course I have loved all of Pamela's books. She truly is a gifted writer and keeps you wanting more. How would you feel if the love of your life tragically dies at the age of 17 only to find out 10 years later it was all a lie? Ava and Reiss are another amazing couple that Pamela has written their story and you will not regret one clicking this book at all.

Well this was good. Mommy Dearest was unbelievable. It was interesting how Reiss fought his feelings for so long but admitted everything after a night out with another woman and talking to Ava's mother. The ending was different, but I didn't like how mom just came in and took over. If she was real, she would have tried to repair their relationship long before that.

Pamela Ann has done it again! The moment I started the book I couldn't put it down. I loved how Ava was able to stand up for herself the further you got into the book. When first dealing with Craig I'm not to impressed with how he. acts towards Ava but like any good book, Pamela throws you for a curve. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone!!

OK this made me fall back in love, slightly, with Ms. Ann's writing. She's very clever in how she writes her spin off books by incorporating characters that we may already know like in this one Toby from the chasing series. I do feel like the husband backed off a little fast with no explanation as to what threat made him back off. But otherwise good story.
