Some people really know how to deliver an audio performance, and, luckily, most of the cast of these Dark Shadows stories are masters at it. Particularly good here, though, are David Warner as Seraph (he does creepy so well, so understated), and Jerry Lacy as yet another Reverend Trask. That's not to say that David Selby, Kathryn Leigh Scott, and the rest phone in their performances. They're all marvelous. The story: this episode is certainly interesting, with the party held by Seraph and what occurs after. We've had vampire and werewolf attacks, disappearing bodies, and a creature that feeds off fear. The addition of the telephone that the ghost Quentin used to communicate with young David Collins even makes an appearance! A treasure for Dark Shadows lovers.
