It does not surprise me that nobody else has heard of this book. I came across it in a second-hand book store and thought the cover looked cool. As far as the story goes, it is absolute crap. While it's not written as annoyingly as such shit as '50 Shades of Grey', it is likewise written by a person who never should have been published. There is nothing good or enjoyable or believable in this story whatsoever - it is absolutely terrible. I actually feel sorry for Alice Raymond because she must have been so happy when some idiot actually published this shit ... only to find out that nobody would ever dare publish her work ever again. It's best for everyone that this book stays in the void of nonexistence in which it has rightfully been condemned...
