Emma is starting a new life in LA after catching her fiancé cheating on her back in England. She settles in the LA lifestyle looking after a doctors children as their nanny - but is shocked to find out that her employer has a famous, sexy and very unattainable brother.

He and Emma become friends as Emma knows he is totally out of her league and he seems to like hiding out with her when he doesn't want to be in the limelight - but then she finds herself falling in love with him even though she knows they can never be together. He would never want her.

About the author

MJ Ray is a mother, author and childminder who lives in Manchester, England with her husband, two children and dog. They spend their summers caravanning with their friends in between having to work.

With her love of being outside, even though the Manchester weather sometimes interferes with her plans, she loves to type away in the sunshine. She always dreamed to write and is inspired to write clean teenage romance, as so many YA books were unsuitable for her teenage daughter to read.

Was this a rough draft?

The author needs to hire a proof-reader! It started out with some grammar mistakes & read like a computer correction wrote the book. By the last chapters it was beyond annoying.
The characters where nicely developed, but as the book moved on Adam spoke far to much like a Brit than an American.
It might also help to do more research - as there are no basements in home in California.

Nice story

This was a nice love story that worked welL . The characters were very well put together and you felt you really knew them as friend by the end !
