Chuck graduated magna cum laude from Dallas Theological Seminary and has since been honored with four doctorates. For his teaching on Insight for Living, he has received the Program of the Year award and the Hall of Fame award from the National Religious Broadcasters as well as multiple book awards.

First in a series of studies on the Gospel of John. Typically includes a brief summary of the text, application, and a series of questions at the end for meditation and discussion. Seemed a little "touchy/feely" to me. I liked his study on the book of Daniel better.

Offers some helpful and thought-provoking insights as the author divides up the first chapters of John into manageable portions for reflection and discussion, with the help of application questions (which sometimes seemed to have little to do with the content of the passage in view, but were spiritually edifying anyway)
