Useful, generally inspiring, well-written except for the slightly distracting propensity to begin sentences with no article, typical of Indian English writing (e.g. "Cover letter is of utmost importance.")
I liked it. But it's certainly more of a career growth manual for those already up near the top ranks, and not a career change or unemployment advice book per se. Written, you suspect, for the 1% who, like Mr. Mehta, live in fancy houses in the suburbs west of Boston and make a living out of nothing actually tangible. No offense. He seems like a nice guy, and clearly knows his field (executive recruiting). But this won't necessarily make you feel any better when you're just some putz being tossed out on your ass. Sorry.
