He spotted her in club Nightshade, a beautiful goddess among the mortals, and from that moment on she was his everything. She tempted him. She intrigued him. He wanted her. Sabrina Donahue knew she was playing with fire from the moment their lips met, but something about Roman Arceneaux made it difficult for her to care. Sensual and darkly intense, Roman is every woman’s fantasy come to life. One by one, Sabrina’s reservations fall prey to his skilled seduction, leaving her dreaming of a future she never imagined. When monsters and mayhem intrude upon their lives, Sabrina’s fragile existence is threatened and Roman is left to wonder if their love will survive. *For mature readers only due to graphic language and sexual situations*

Hmm I quiet enjoyed this novel; I really wasn’t sure going in what it was about just that it was paranormal.
So I was pretty intrigued. I liked Sabrina the most of all the characters and maybe Gayla.
I was a little disappointed in Roman, with all the feelings he is feeling he sure puts up all these road blocks. Also for being as old as he was I was again disappointed in his actions and not questioning enough.
Overall it was an interesting story and now I am going to start book 2 because I am hoping we get more of Gayla and Kane.
LOVED the narrations, she really made me keep reading especially when I was getting mad at the characters haha.
*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*
I did love Roman and Sabrina's story....however, (yes, there's a "however" unfortunately, I hate negativity but this is a review and these are my thoughts.) I'm definitely not knocking the author because her writing and this story was great...now to the however(s)... I didn't like the part in the beginning when Sabrina was dancing in the strip club and was pulled from her room to do a private dance for Roman, which neither had a clue at the time that they would be meeting each other again but what bugged me is that he was willing to pay double for the stripper Juno who he thought would be the one coming to give him the show. I had to re-read that a couple of times because I was thinking...okay, first off why is this hot guy paying out the butt for a stripper even though he did say she was his fav, and second it would have been so much better if he found out it was Sabrina who was working and wanted to pay double for her to dance for him even though she wasn't a "real" stripper. I guess that was my first thought, that he had found her and wanted to pay extra for her but when I found out it was someone else he was willing to pay double for it left a bad taste in my mouth especially since he wanted Sabrina. I mean, he's a half breed vampire! He could have stalked her and made her his. lol! But that's neither here nor there...I know its just a story. Just had a vent just a wee bit about it. ;) Also, I didn't like the back and forth between characters in the book. It just got confusing and I did get frustrated when I was really getting into what was going on with Roman and Sabrina and then BOOM it would switch to Gaela and Caine's story. These stories just shouldn't have been mixed. But that's just the type of reader I am, I like to focus on one couple at a time. haha! On a positive note I still loved the author and the writing and will be reading all the other books in this series.
I wanted to like it. I did. I also wanted to finish it. However, after many attempts I'm giving up. It's not that the story is bad, it's that I was expecting a book about Roman and Sabrina. Only half the book is like that. The other half of the story is woven throughout and involves another couple. I hate that. I want to focus on one couple at a time. Not multiple. It will never keep my interest and will always annoy me.
Reviewer : Kaylene - Magic Within The Pages Rating : 4 Stars
This book is a new genre for me and I liked it a lot ....
Well paranormal romance is not my genre and I normally wouldn’t reach for this type of book but as part of a review team I’m required to read things that don’t always fit nicely into what I necessarily want to read. So I opened this book, started and it wasn’t long before I realised that I actually really like this genre and what’s more I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The characters were likeable and the book was written well, with a good storyline which was quite believable. Roman Arceneaux is a dark, broody, strong man until he becomes obsessed with Sabrina Donahue. After their meeting you can tell that the sparks are flying and that there’s a strong attraction between them. There is danger, there is love, there are twists and turns, but most of all there is all types of paranormal characters which made for a really interesting read. The book was descriptive and I felt that although paranormal I noticed things come to life around me as I was reading.
This is a great book, really liked it except for the cliff hanger. All in all this was a four star read for me and has opened up a new world of paranormal romance for me to devour.
3.5 stars: Overall I enjoyed this book. I did find the beginning a bit disjointed and slow. It jumped around a bit, but I was still intrigued by the storyline and kept going. There were a few detail errors early in the book as well (her hair in a chignon vs. down for the date a few chapters in).
About a third to halfway in, the story really picked up and sucked me in though. I enjoyed the mix of paranormal with the romance. The story seemed to move very quickly then and there was a lot of action. I also enjoyed the secondary character storylines that the author weaved into the main plot line.
So I felt the book started a bit slow, but then finished well. I would consider picking up the sequel to see what happens next because I'm interested in seeing where the story goes with some of the other plot lines that just got started in this first Nightshades novel.
I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review.
Wow, just... wow. If you love paranormal romance, you should read this series. I've just finished Tempted, and nearly started book 2, just to find out what happens next! Then I remembered... review... Need to stop for ten seconds and write one! So here it is: Sabrina, a pampered but emotionally stunted, young socialite, catches the eye of Roman, a super sexy half-vampire, and with her arrival, manages to turn his world upside down! Lots of pulse-pounding action, steamy sex, and heart wrenching betrayals. Now, I am off to read book 2!
Tempted isn't your typical vampire love story; It starts off with a mother's sacrifice and how she tries to save Roman's fragile young life from her clan. Roman was sent to live with his father's family for his safety and in the present day owns a nightclub and is a very successful Damphir (his father is a human ~ Gasp). Club Nightshade is an after hours establishment which caters to the paranormal community. Here is where his love/lust affair with Sabrina begins.
After a few clumsy and failed meetings with Sabrina, Roman finally get's his shot with the beautiful goddess he met that one fateful night. Their attraction is fast and swift, and so is their relationship. All the happiness does come to an abrupt halt though as it usually does when two vastly different people come together. They become hunted by dangerous creatures and hidden truths threaten to break them apart.
I enjoyed reading this steamy book. I loved the secondary characters just as much as I loved the main characters. they are vibrant and emotional. I didn't like the mild cliffhanger so much, but I will alleviate that by getting book two. NOW!
Five stars and a tip of the Nerd Girl hat!!!
*This review was done in conjunction with Nerd Girl Official.
This story is set in a world where the supernatural exists. The MMC is a Dhamphir (half-human/half-vampire), the FMC is a human. There are all myriads of supernatural creatures however, including fey, gods, dryads, sirens, and more. The universe is interesting and the taste I received in this book only fueled my desire to learn more.
The story starts and ends with intense passion and heat. Roman notices Sabrina in the beginning of the book and instantly has to know her. And unlike most insta-lust/attraction stories, this one actually has a reason backing his immediate interest, though it isn't revealed until much later. So, if you usually shy away from those, you may like this one regardless.
While I greatly enjoyed the characters and the story, I must say the reason this one is the coveted 5 stars, is because of the side characters. There is a side romance that has so many questions in my head that not continuing the series isn't even an option. I HAVE to know what happens with Gaela and Caine. And I have to know right now. It's a requirement. Luckily for me, the second book is already downloaded and awaiting my immediate attention.
5 stars & 3 chili peppers for this bad boy. Excellently done Brenda Tetreault. My hats off to you your majesty.
This was such a great book. This is the 2nd book I've read from this author, the first one was of a completely different series so I knew I would like. I will admit I found the first chapter (NOT the prologue) slow as I was trying to figure out who or really what Roman was. Once it became clear everything started to fall into place.
I like how this book wasn't just about Roman and Sabrina, it laid the foundation for other couples (Caine and Gaela, backstory to other characters). I loved seeing how the fantasy world fit it with the rest of the world. It was great reading about the world building and seeing how it all worked. I wished to have more information on Roman's mother but I wouldn't be surprised if she makes and appearance in the later books.
I will say the end of the book left me going, WTH?!?! It's NOT a cliffhanger involving Roman and Sabrina but it is another couple that we will see later in the series (Yes, I've already stalked out her other books). I can't wait to read the 2nd in the series and how the characters develop.
I really enjoyed this book! The story is amazing! I love how it’s not only about the two main characters. We meet a lot of people in here. They all have stories. We get a little insight into each. This ones main two were Sabrina and Roman. I was surprised and shocked a couple times while listening to this. I’m not going to say what but paranormal is a favorite genre of mine and I thought I had seen it all. This one is a bit different.
I enjoyed almost all the secondary characters. They each added to the main story as well as having a little something on the side. I hope some of them get their own stories.
I did listen to this on audio. Sonja Field Is the narrator. She did a good job. My only wish is she would speak a bit louder for the men’s voices. Sometimes Roman was hard to hear.
This is the first Paranormal book that I have listened to and have been amazed! I loved the various characters and separate stories woven into one overall story. Typically my genres to listen to are Romance and Mystery. Until this book, I have stayed away from "Paranormal". I will definitely look for by the author Brenda Tetreault and narrator Sonja Field. The author is extremely talented and the narrator did a fantastic performance with the various characters and accents. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and/or publisher. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I do not like to give away spoilers in a review, but I cannot wait to listen to the next book in the series. This book is a standalone and not a cliffhanger. Before this book, I hadn't listened to any books dealing with Vampires or Faeries. I am looking forward to listening to the next book in the series to hear what happens to the various characters.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to more. With lots of action, drama, family issues, love, passion, and some humor, I did not want to stop listening to the beginning of this series. Sabrina and Roman were hot together, good for each other, and a bit defensive. It was interesting to get the characters' backstories. With Sabrina and Roman's HEA, the reader was shown the way to the next story. The narrator, Sonja Field, was excellent in getting the emotion across as well as giving life to quite a few characters. I recommend this story.
I received a copy of the audiobook as a prize, and this is my unsolicited review.
It’s been a while since I read any paranormal romance that’s not written by JR Ward and I’d forgotten how much I truly love this genre. All the drama, alphas with dark secrets and strange powers, and of course the steamy stuff. Yes, please.
Well, Tempted has reminded me why I need to read a lot more of it. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters are well drawn and super hot, the plot is action packed, the HEA is satisfying, and I’m intrigued enough by the ending to keep going with the series.
A fun read. I’m really glad I found this author and title.
Yep, I totally loved this! It's so good! I loved the whole premise and I loved that this books deals with vampires and other supernatural types. In Tempted, Roman, who is a dhampir (half human, half vampire), sees Sabrina across the room in his nightclub, Nightshade, and feels a strong attraction and pull towards her. Sabrina also feels a pull towards Roman, and the two have a moment, but it doesn't go much further before they separate, but Roman isn't ready to let Sabrina walk out of his life. Sabrina is from a well-off family, but she is a bit of a wild child because her parents are a bit cold towards her and they try to run her life, so she rebels by doing some things that aren't very smart and make her seem childish, which normally would bother me, but I liked that Sabrina had sass and that she understood that her actions weren't really helping anything. Sabrina is intelligent and I think she handles having a lot of crazy thrown at her wonderfully. At one of these little rebellions, Roman and Sabrina end up meeting again, but the meeting doesn't quite go as Roman would have hoped, but eventually they end up reconnecting. I don't want to spoil it, so I'll just say this action by Sabrina was really the only thing I didn't enjoy about this story, and I didn't like the thought that Roman was there frequently enough to be knowledgeable about the setting, but luckily it wasn't too big a part of the story, so I didn't let it affect my rating. Roman and Sabrina begin to grow closer, but Roman has his secrets that may make Sabrina leave him, so he is trying to find the right time to mention these things to her, but some outside forces intrude on Roman and Sabrina's relationship causing strife. Roman has some dangerous people in his past that aren't too happy that Sabrina is in Roman's life, so Roman and Sabrina are on a tough road to happiness. Roman and Sabrina are hot together, and I loved how much Roman feels for Sabrina. They have a really great connection; deep and heartfelt, and I was surprised with how sweet the romance ended up being. The sex scenes are very steamy, and definitely had my heart pounding. Tempted really pulled me in, and the story is very interesting. The whole story was so full of wonderfulness, and I just love Brenda Tetreault's writing! I love that there are different types of supernaturals in this book, and I especially loved that Roman's "butler" was a fawn! So cool! That character was so much fun! We also get a glimpse at the relationship between Caine and Gaela, who are Roman's bodyguard and sister, and their story just broke my heart! Although the majority of the book is about Roman and Sabrina, Caine and Gaela get some chapters too, and normally I don't like when focus is taken off the main couple, but I loved their story so much, so I wasn't disappointed at all that they get some scene time. I was truly hoping that the next book would be a continuation of their story, but I have to wait one more book before that happens, so I'm going to have to hurry up and read the next book, so I can get to their book. I'm definitely going to have to do that sooner rather than later because I want more Caine and Gaela! I loved how Tempted's story evolved, and I enjoyed the bit of mystery and the little surprises. I also listened to the audio version of this story, and the narrator is amazing! She does multiple voices and accents, and does a great job! I'm really looking forward to the next book! The next book is about Caius, who is a villain in this book, so that will be interesting to see his story, when he was mentioned in this book, I did think I would like to read his story, so although I want Caine and Gaela's story, I'm excited to read Caius' story too!
***THIS BOOK WAS GIVEN TO ME IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW.***
Tempted: A Nightshade Novel is a steamy paranormal romance. Roman, a Damphir (half vampire, half human) runs Club Nightshade, a haven for all sorts of supernatural creatures. One night, he sees a beautiful human woman he just must meet: Sabrina. From the very first meeting, Sabrina and Roman have tremendous chemistry. They're practically jumping into bed with one another that first night.
Sabrina is a hot mess through parts of this book. Dancing in a peep show club, getting herself photographed outside said club (when her father is a politician and he and her mother are always embarrassed by her) and just generally not quite knowing who she is. Her parents put too much pressure on her to be perfect so she rebels and is anything but.
Roman is anything but. He's a businessman, but he's also responsible for keeping the world safe from Stirogi, terrible predators.
Tempted follows their romance and the danger that hunts Sabrina from several different angles.
Overall, I enjoyed the book. Despite Sabrina's hot messiness in parts of the book, she kicks ass and holds her own in others. However, I did want her to pick a personality. She goes from being willing to fight off a terrible monster in one scene to losing her whole composure when she sees that she's got a couple of scars across her breast in another.
The sex was steamy and well done. I really wanted half stars for this book because it should be 3.5 stars. That said, it's too good to round down to 3 stars. I felt as if there were too many threads that were woven together in a rug that was just slightly out of focus. Adrianna (another character I won't elaborate on due to spoilers) ran too hot and cold. Caine's story was explained a little too much in this book (but not finished because it's going to be completed in another book).
The ending was satisfying and and though Caine's story begins again in the epilogue, Sabrina and Roman have their resolution.
All in all, a good paranormal romance.

3.5 Paranormal romance and historical romance were the genres that I cut my teeth on as a teenager. And I still enjoy paranormal romance. I find the genre easier to digest simply because it’s a made up world. When you’re reading a story with made up creatures and lore, anything goes, so I question the plausibility of insta love and some of the other themes that run through our beloved smut far less than I do in the “mortal” realm. Tempted is full of made up creatures and lore, but the characters are interesting and the love story was touching. I enjoyed Sabrina’s attitude and approach to what was happening around her. She doesn’t shrink away from the “made up” and stands on her own when she needs to. Her “parents” were horrible people and she went a lot gentler on them than I would have, but that was just another demonstration of her character. Roman. He’s a hottie and he pursues Sabrina with a vengeance, not that she resists him too much. But he also wasn’t the Alpha-hole that we see in a lot of books. He had a definite sweet side and he took her home and gave her space when she needed it, rather than force his presence on Sabrina. As for the storyline, it was full of twists and things that I didn’t see coming. There was also a side story with other characters running alongside Roman and Sabrina’s story that is to be continued in a future novel. And I am intrigued enough that I want to see where things will go. What sealed this book for me is Brenda Tetreault’s words and how they flow. She has talent and way with words. When it’s sexy time- dayum! She can bring the sexy to a scene, but she can write the action, too. I would have liked to see more dialogue and a little less of descriptions, but that may just be my opinion. If you’re a paranormal reader, this book is worth the read. If you’re not, not a bad one to cut your teeth on. Read more reviews @ rawbooksonline.com
I have to start off by saying that I did not take the blurb’s reference to monsters and mayhem literally, so I was not expecting an erotic paranormal romance. And while I do enjoy reading paranormal romances (erotic or not), I probably would not have signed up to read and review it for the blog as I typically need to be in the mood for a PR to fully enjoy it and I tend to stick to authors I know. As such, I am so very glad I did not know what I was getting into because I thoroughly enjoyed Tempted and hate the idea that I may have missed out on finding a new author to add to my go-to list for paranormal romances.
Ms. Tetreault introduces us to world with Vampirs, Damphirs, Strigois, Fauns, Fairies, Gods & Goddesses and other creatures. Sabrina unknowingly finds herself smack-dab in the middle of this world soon after an encounter with Roman in his club Nightshade. Roman is drawn to her immediately, while Sabrina refuses to acknowledge any pull she may feel toward him. As their paths continue to cross and the sparks fly (do they ever!), her resolve weakens and she finally agrees to go to dinner with him. From there, the sparks ignite their blazing hot passion and the results are some lip-biting, squirm-inducing sex scenes that are oh so good to read. Of course, the monsters and mayhem insure that it is not smooth sailing for Sabrina and Roman and the author gives us plenty of action and plot twists that keep the story entertaining and moving forward.
Tempted is a well written paranormal romance that kept me engaged and entertained the entire time. The author has created an interesting world full of characters I enjoyed spending time with and hope to do so again soon when she releases her next Nightshade novel.

Vampires, Fey and gods…. Oh, my!! A friend of mine said to me one day “Hey, can you read this book for me?” It was downhill from there! What a wonderful first book in a series! It truly laid down a lot of ground work to continue it in other books. It was imaginative and also real… set in modern times and relatable in many aspects. Sabrina Donahue is a rebellious socialite trying to escape her less-than-there wealthy parents. They are emotionally cold, distant and abusive mentally. Sabrina can’t help but to be rebellious to gain their love and attention. Enter Roman. Sexy, alpha, every-girl’s-dream guy and club owner. The cast of characters around Roman are rich in “character”, moral codes and other-world abilities. Oh, and don’t forget a scheming Mother! She makes me want to throw my kindle. Roman and Sabrina’s world’s collide drawing Sabrina into the magic, mystery and life & death of the super natural. She begins a journey of self-discovery that tears her down and builds her back up stronger than ever. Ms. Tetreault wrote Sabrina in a very real way, some of her actions were a bit far-fetched, but I could truly identify with how she wrote her. She nailed down the caught between worlds of humanity, family and the supernatural capturing Sabrina’s feelings spot on of not really belonging anywhere and then beginning that journey of discovery. I highly recommend this first in a series. It lays a lot of groundwork for the rest of the books, however it doesn’t leave you on a cliff at the end. I feel it could be read as a stand-alone, but when it’s this good, do you really want to stop at just one?? I know I lost a bit of sleep and the characters stayed with me when I wasn’t reading it = book hang over!! Provided for an honest review. 5 stars. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!
Roman Arceneaux, the name just rolls of your tongue and conjures up the image of a dark, brooding, strong man. Dark & brooding is exactly what he is. Until he spots Sabrina Donahue, then he becomes a man obssessed. Sabrina has two sides - the socialite who will do almost anything to get her parents attention, and her inner self who is full of doubts and just wants to be loved. She would do anything to be loved for her true self.
When Roman saves Sabrina, the electricity between them is almost instantaneous. Sabrina's reactions to Roman shock her and she leaves an equally stunned Roman "reeling from the way her kiss burned him so good in all the right places" Tempted is exactly what Sabrina is when she crosses paths twice more with Roman, albeit unintentionally.
The two main characters set fire to the pages of this book and they bring this story to life. Follow them through this well written story as they lust over each other, face dangers together, fall even more in love, and meet each others family.
I loved Sabrina and Roman but I think the secondary characters also helped this novel become the spicy, fast paced story it is. Gaela and Caine's story runs in the background and I am hoping against hope that they're the next novel in this series. I don't think there was anything I disliked about this book.
So get ready to meet Damphirs, Vampirs, sirens and more. Pick up or download a copy of this book and see if you're "Tempted" into following this series.
3.5 stars I think we all know by now that the paranormal genre is not my normal go-to reading choice. I did enjoy Tempted though. It started out a little slow to me and I had trouble getting into the characters at first. A little after the halfway point the whole story started to really come together and everything just sort of clicked into place. From then on it was smooth sailing and I felt invested in Sabrina and Roman’s journey. Brenda Tetrault did a great job weaving in numerous types of mythical beings. It’s annoying when you have a paranormal book about vampires, but for some reason that is the only mythical creature that could possibly exist. It probably takes a lot of research getting the minor characters backgrounds and traits right and working them in. Another great thing was the build up to the characters for the next in this series. It was written in such a way that I wasn’t sure if it was just build up, or if it was actually dual stories in this one book. While Tempted had an HEA, I’m thinking we can look forward to a bit of continuation of Sabrina and Roman’s life throughout. While this is not one that will go into my, “OMG, I need to read this on repeat” pile, it was quality work and I’m definitely interested in reading the next in the series, as well as other books by this author when I’m in the mood for a paranormal. Tempted is the first in a series. Sabrina out at a club with friends has a chance encounter with Roman Arceneaux, a half-breed (half vampire/half human).
He is fascinated by Sabrina at first sight. She can't seem to stop thinking about him.
Sabrina is trying to find herself away from her overbearing and verbally abusive parents.
This is a paranormal love story with some great twist. It started a bit slow for me but once the action started it was an interesting read. Sabrina and Roman are quite sexy together. Once a number of paranormal creatures start trouble for Roman and Sabrina it puts a major stress on their relationship.
Fey, faun, vampires and half-vampires bring lots of action to Sabrina and Roman's romance.
"When I first saw you at Nightshade, all I could think was that I had to get closer, to see if you were really as perfect as you looked. And the more I saw you, the more tempted by you I became, until I couldn't think of anything else but making you mine. I never once considered how terrifying my world could be for you."
There isn't a cliffhanger really but the ground work is laid for the next book in the series.
Lovers of paranormal romance should enjoy Tempted.

WOW this book was absolutely AMAZING! Sabrina has led a life of privilege but never really felt like she fit in. She goes out of her way to make her parents take notice of her by doing things not sociably acceptable to say the least. Roman owns the club Nightshade and the minute he sees a stunning beauty cross the dance floor he is captivated and simply has to get to know her. He saves her from falling and being humiliated and when he tries to get to her name she refuses. They meet a couple of more times and each one is more explosive than the other On their first date the impossible happens and Roman is forced to fight to not only save Sabrina’s life but countless others. Many obstacles stand in their way. Sabrina learns some new things about herself and has to redefine who she is based on those discoveries. Gaelea has had a crush on Cain since forever but Cain refuses to let his heart belong to anyone after already loosing someone in the past. These characters lives are complicated and only become more so as the story unfolds. This story is amazing with one hell of a cliffhanger. I can’t wait to see what happens next! If you are a fan of the paranormal this is most definitely the book for you it’s a page turner and a half to say the least but I promise you won’t regret it!

I was given a copy exchange for my honest review This was a new author for me, and I'm so glad I have the opportunity to read this this book had me hooked from the start where we meet Roman as a child does him and his mother are going on a venture let's say as his mother was trying to protect him and here we find out that half breeds or Roman specifically has an allergy to human blood . Huh Who would've thought love that twist . Later on we meet Sabrina man I just loved her strong feisty sassy everything I love to see in the main character, so when Roman sets his eyes on Sabrina things heat up between them but also Sabrina stumps him because she does not fall at his feet right away he actually has to work for it.. But at the same time Sabrina finds in Roman the safety and security that to me she craves for . Now I'm not going to give away too much of this book but it does have everything I look for Mystery, action, heat, passion, strong characters, and strong emotions and feelings coming from both of them.. I cannot wait for more from this author and this is definitely a recommended read
She looked like a Goddess and Roman couldn't take his eyes off her. He had to meet this woman. Sabrina was with friends and got separated. Panic set in. There were so many people. To Roman though, Sabrina was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen and he'd seen a lot of them in his time. Seeing the panic in her movements, Roman stood and walked over to her. Taking her hand he walked back to his table. The tension was palpable. From here, anything can happen!
Sensual, seductive, erotic! This book is five alarm HOT! The writing is superb and the characters so lovable you'll hate to see the book end. I read this one twice because it's so damn good! I think the reader will enjoy the many shifters in this book. The variety lends it a real air of believe-ability. Mrs. Tetreault did a fantastic job of writing this soon to be bestseller.
I found no issues.
I gave this one 5+ cheers out of 5 because it knocked me out and left me wanting more. ~Copy of book provided by author in exchange for a fair review~

REVIEW: I loved Tempted! This hot new paranormal drew me in and I couldn't put it down until I read the last page. Dark and sexy Roman is half human and half vamphir. When he spots Sabrina in his night club he is instantly captivated by her. Their chemistry and passion burned up the pages. Brenda Tetreault created a great paranormal world that captured my attention and I loved the characters. Their are a lot of great secondary characters that I want to read more about. I can't wait for the next book to be released. I highly recommend this book for romance lovers looking for a sexy new paranormal series.

Brenda could not have given better visual if she'd have tried. Her descriptions of the people and the locations bring them to life in full color and dimension; the emotional ranges covered within this novel are far and wide - from lust to hate to anger and frustration, and definite love.
I've not been one to reach for a romance novel as a first choice; having said that, this is not just a romance story, it is so much more.
I am impressed with the writing style of Ms. Tetreault and look forward to seeing more from her in the very near future! If you enjoy paranormal reads with a healthy dose of superheated romance, you'll be doing yourself a favor by grabbing a copy of Tempted: A Nightshade Novel!!
