OK, I haven't made any of the recipes from this book, as a vegetarian many of the entries do not apply to me, and I do not usually eat such fancy meals. This book was given to me and I really do enjoy it. The author's love of the Okanagan and of the land, her obvious respect and appreciation for local farmers and food-growers, and the joy and care she takes in creating beautiful dishes to share with others radiate from the pages of this book. The accompanying photos are also really fabulous.

I really enjoy having this book on my shelf, and when my timetable opens up a bit and the fresh produce starts arriving in my region from the Okanagan I will be cooking some of the recipes in the book.
