Internet Magic #5

Summoning a Partner

Rate this book
I want my fated mate. Or else.

It’s not fair that my best friend accidentally summoned her fated mate. I know it’s possible. And I’m sick of hearing about their…Love.

My newest mission: get a fated mate.

I’ve searched online and have yet to find a working spell. My next attempt involves an AI bot. After minutes of trying to get a summoning spell, things change and I say the (weird) spell. At first nothing happens until the next day when I feel someone pressing against me. Instincts kick in and we fight.

They whisk me away to their house and we have to face the reality of the situation: potentially I broke the laws of magic and there’s no way this is fate. It is fate and I will fight for my last chance of a soulmate. Will they accept our bond?

Came upon this book by chance. Sylvia carried out a spell that would bring her her fated mate. I get that, what I don't get is when she wakes in middle of the night with someone in bed with her, given her spell and all that, her first instinct is to try and kill them instead of asking if they might be her mate? She is definitely certifiable that one. As for Aarik, well they are just plain confused with it all and unconvinced since there should be a measure of magic involved. A fun, shorter read.

This was really cute and surprisingly heart breaking at times, for such a short story. Sylvia is a fun character to read, and I was so happy we got to read her story.

A very interesting premise for a series. It's actually very funny in a non- "derpy" way, like actually well written wit. Good banter and what not.
