A sinister murder. A deadly obsession. An unbreakable curse. It gets weird this Halloween. When a paranormal investigator dies under mysterious circumstances in a supposedly haunted mansion, Tyson and his Navy buddy, JD, delve into the supernatural. But there has to be a logical explanation for this impossible murder. The deputies plunge into the unknown and discover a web of intrigue and deceit. They uncover a horrible truth, and malevolent forces will do anything to keep this terrible secret hidden. To complicate matters, the owner of an occult book store is murdered and a coveted grimoire stolen. To unmask a killer, the deputies must risk everything. Is their investigation hexed? Their beliefs will be challenged, and one of them may not make it out alive. The search for Dizzy’s guitar continues, JD overindulges and pays the price, and Teagan has a decision to make. It’s ghosts, ghouls, and gorgeous beauties this Halloween as the deputies bring their brand of justice to the Florida paradise. I have read all of your books and love the plots and twists - I’m a bit of a Florida Keys Marine adventures junkie! However, I feel like you need some new vocabulary for the redundant descriptions of the guys that hang around the rehearsal warehouse waiting for handouts and free shows as frequently dubbed “the usual miscreants” and also the paperwork needed after each criminal resolution, “returning to the station to do the after action paperwork”. Just a suggestion!
Like most here I have been on this ride with Tyson and Jack from the start. I have to thank amazon for that as it was recommend by kindle. I am sure like others here we have enjoyed how Mr. Ellis has stayed true to all of our favorite personalities in the series. No spoiler here, just a statement doing the wrong thing for the right reason does not make the wrong right. Great Book Tripp. I can't wait until Nov 9 where I hope Chief Daniel's gets to come back home to Texas.
How anyone can write nearly 60 books and keep them interesting is beyond me, but Tripp Ellis has done it with this series. Monthly I await the arrival of a new book, only to lie awake reading the latest adventures of Tyson and JD from cover to cover. I can't put the book down!!!!
What a crazy few weeks as usual the guys need it well and solved multiple crimes some suspects going to their reward sooner than expected.. Ciao from Costa Rica and may the spirits move you....
Having thoroughly enjoyed the previous 58 Tyson Wild adventures, Wild Hex was not one that measured up to the previous books. You may enjoy Wild Hex if you’re a fan of the Occult literature, I did not.
A twisted tale of the macab. Murders and action to keep ones inteterest. Dark secrets, foreboding spells take hold of the reader from page to page. Hard to put down in anticipation of what's to follow.
It was a good read as always but few errors with some names being mixed up. Proofreader wasn’t good at his job. Other than that can’t wait for book 60!
Well this was a little different. It’s coming up to Halloween and the boys are investigating some seriously weird stuff around spirits and a stolen grimoire. I was thinking don’t you dare JD and knew that our man would do anything near that line for his buddy.
