I loved this book for Pre-K and Kindergarten. It was a very simple read that can warrant a good social studies integration. It is a beginners book for learning about location and possibly mapping. The book read like: In the town there is a house, In the house there is a box, In the box there is... So the students could learn about birds eye view due to the illustrations and discuss location.

This book is about a birthday party, and birthday parties are my favorite. My favorite part was the part where she got the house, and in the house was a little room, and four people were sitting at the table, and they had a box on the table, and there was a cake in the box with writing on the table, and I wish I had that box.

We really liked the way this story gets smaller from town to box then expands again from box to town. Very clever and good for early reasoning.
