Being an Octopus

Rate this book
Octopuses, with their boneless bodies and remarkable intelligence, are truly amazing creatures. Some even use tools to hide and protect themselves from predators. Many species of octopus are featured in this book that puts reader in the place of these mollusks. As an octopus, they'll imagine themselves camouflaged on the ocean floor, masking themselves in an ink cloud, and even wrestling a shark. Fun fact boxes and carefully chosen photographs add to the fascinating text.

Simple explanations of the many cool and unique facts about the octopus. The pictures are great and it is a good simple but science based read.

Great photos & use of text features. High interest sharing of octopus information. A longer 1 sitting read, better if in 2 sittings for younger fans. Would be a good research resource.
