I have one question and one question only, when is the next Seventh Heaven Retreat and where do I sign up?! (I know that was two questions) These are my peopleeeeeee!!! When you walked into this retreat it was giving kink, you had BDSM, you could watch or join in…. I mean the scenes were scening and Carter was front and center! This is his third year in that thang and while he had routine and partners of his choosing, he was open to switching things up this time around! Carter made it very clear that all he had to give was good dîck and a wet asś. Don’t catch feelings because he ain’t throwing em! 🎶 he don’t wife em, he one nights em🎶
Demi was cool with these terms because she had one goal in mind and that was BIG TRICKIN *in my Dai and Nite voice* IYKYK. Listen, Demi had a plan for this retreat, but Carter came in and took control of it all. There must have been something in the air, the way these two clicked. I'm like Izzy and Cherry WHO ?? I'm happy that Carter got his woman and was willing to sacrifice everything. That's what a nice pussy can do for a guy. I was left wanting to know more about their relationship. The goal is to leave the Seventh Heaven Retreat with her bags $30K heavier. For the next 48 hours, everybody's pockets can get it. Demi and Carter are two emotionally detached souls and love is the last thing either of them are looking for. But, Cupid had other plans for them that weekend. These two embark on a mind blowing sexual journey that unexpectedly turned into forever and I loved that for them. Carter and Demi was a quick and salacious read that gave me all the spicy feels. Emphasis on spicy so, be prepared to clutch every single one of your pearls and have a cigarette or two even if you don’t smoke. This was my first read by ML Bash and I really enjoyed it. I’m definitely going to check out more of her catalog.

I read these books out of order. I read Laz & Znia’s story first and that was soooo good, I flew first class back to see what I had missed with Carter & Demi. So glad I did. The fact that Carter could be so domineering yet attentive was the ultimate turn on for me. Forget Christian Grey!!! I want a Carter! I think BDSM is still taboo in the black community & I like how ML Bash shatters the myth that black people aren’t into that kind of kink. Although I connected more with Znia & Laz’s story more, I throughly enjoyed this one also & recommend reading both. Can I just say these are two of the luckiest friends 😉

I was not prepared at all!! This book needs to come with a warning ⚠️ and complimentary pantyliners!The scenes were vivid, and the chemistry between Carter and Demi was off the charts. The author did not disappoint. This book checked all the boxes for me:

Sweet heat!
I love Carter and Demi!! I have read plenty of sexy BDSM stories, but something about this one just felt all the way right with me! So boom Carter was a freeeeak, he would be a heaux, if he was a woman lol. He didn't like like to have girlfriends, but had enjoyed having submissives' that understood their place in his life. He didn't play with women who were too emotional or had feelings for him he didn't hesitate to cut ties. It was all fun and games and until he met Demi. Demi was different and she slowly infiltrated his heart without even knowing it. Demi was just trying to survive by any means necessary and wasn't expecting to have feelings for a trick and baby Carter said it ain't tricking if you got it okayyyy. They were together a few nights but baaaabyyyy they took each other to new heights each night. I love books where you can feel the characters slowly falling for each other when they haven't admitted it at all. You could feel the unspoken hold they had on each other, tried to ignore, before Carter claimed his woman. This read was definitely spicy and I loved every minute of it. Demi thought she was going to finesse Carter, but he definitely finessed his way into her heart, mind, and soul. This story gave us all the sweet heat. The sweetness of them finding love with all the sexual heat that we need! Loved this story so much.

A Sensual Affair gave me all that I needed! First off, I picked this book up based off the cover alone. But the story, pulled me in so quickly! Carter and Demi were both resistant to anything that was permanent, casual was definitely their choice. But the sexual chemistry and getting to know each other was too much for them. It was clear that Demi was on the prowl for someone with big pockets and I absolutely understood her reasoning. She’s literally just trying to get it how she lives.. Carter is everything!!! Mkay, a few times I was like “okay, daddy!” - I would be his ‘Rookie’ any day🤣
I enjoyed this story; it entertained me, had me clutching my eyes and legs, and swooning with stars in my eyes at the end. There’s so much spice but there was a storyline. Good job!

ML Bash come to the front immediately! Girl i loved the hell out of this book. Carter and Demi just felt so right. Their chemistry was so sensual, sexy and chill for real. I love these characters whole heartedly. The setting, plot and pacing was so on point.
Demi was about her mission of getting the bag off these wealthy/rich people to help with stuff back at home. She didn’t shy away from that either. Her sexual presence just oozes off the pages using what she got to get what she needed. Now Carter had me in love from the get go. His presence demands respect and authority in the most honorable way. He has that thang about him letting you know he can lead. In the words of Jill Scott “if he tell me what to do, then he can TELL ME WHAT TO DO.” And that’s Carter to the T. Loved that he fell first and peaked game with Demi. Everything he did was touching my heart. What he told her at the strip club in the last chapter had me all smiles. Talk about a man that is a provider and knows what he wants is so sexy. Me and ML Bash that is. She’s for me and I’m about to STAN out! This book was scrumptious. Carter is the type of man you happily sell your soul to a crossroads demon for because sweet Jesus he’s perfection! Demi was cool I loved her vibe, the way she was calm and low key. I’m always going to love a fmc who plays it just as cool at the mmc. But I would have freaked out just like her frfr. I knew Ms. Bash wasn’t nothing to play with after the novellas I read so I immediately hopped onto this to see if she could make magic with more words and a for real for real he’s and sis knocked it out the park. I personally LOVE how she uses her words to time lapse the story forward it’s honestly a technique I wish more authors would use. It really gives me as a reader a better sense of things and how things are progressing. Agin if kink and a little degradation isn’t your thing tread carefully but this woman clearly has the recipe to get all my love and devotion and so she shall have it!

Books like Carter and Demi: A Sensual Affair make me feel justified when I give novellas lower ratings for poor character development or subpar storytelling. ML Bash is proof that your novella can be a full story. Thank you!!! Carter is chef's kiss for me. I thoroughly enjoyed Demi's character and I appreciate that Bash made her question falling for Carter and his true intentions because it was in alignment with her backstory and profession. This is my first time reading a story like this, so it was very unique. ML Bash set a high bar and I will definitely be exploring more of her catalog.
