This super-simple story about two polar bear cubs and what they learn from their mother is both adorable and informative. There's also plenty of one of the "polar babies" throws himself into learning to swim, walk on ice, and fish, while the other always prefers to nap. This book is delightfully illustrated by the talented Lisa McCue.

Adorable illustrations. A day in the life of two polar bear babies...one who loves to learn, and one who loves to sleep. Two cute polar bear babies spend the day with their mama learning to fish, swim, walk on the ice and run on the ice. Great if you love polar bears. Great if you have a snugly sleeper of your own. Good for everyone else.
This book is about a polar baby learning to survive. It learned how to eat, sleep, walk and run when a bigger bear attack them. It learn how to be strong and find ways to hide when being attacked. This book is good for teaching children about the different habitat of animals in the cold area. It expose children to nature and surviving skills of animals.
This early reader describes some of the things mother polar bears teach their cubs about being polar bears. The cubs' response is to either LOVE that activity or love sleeping. Kind of cute, but look for better information elsewhere.
Cute book with predictable storyline. I did wish they had specified polar BEARS instead of just babies, I wouldn't have read it today. Adorable bears, though.
