Got this at a library sale thought be cool to read but I wasn't into it. I'll give back to the library cause just don't want give my nephew like had planned either.

Aladdin gt tricked by am evil magician to get a lamp but it back fired on the magician. Aladdin escaped being locked inside the earth thanks to the lamp he finds.

There also the tell in here how he sees his wife and marries her and the revenge take on the magician.

This version of the story keeps quite a bit of the original tale intact, leaving out the princess's other suitor, the sultan's attempt at finishing a window, and the magician's brother. The rest is pretty much here, including the two genies and the killing of the magician by the princess at Aladdin's direction. The illustrations are good, rather pastel, and while not stunning are clear and would attract a child's interest. On the whole, I was rather impressed with how much of the story was here yet how accessible it remained.

The classic tale of a Persian boy and his magic lamp is given new life in this book which should be shared with all kids who may know it only thru the Disney ripoff film.
