A nice story about a hedgehog and his journey to find winter. He finds it and realised how wonderful and dangerous it is at the same time. A good story for discussing seasonal changes and what different animals do during the winter months.

Winter was everywhere: in the air, in the trees, on the ground and in the hedgerows. Colder and colder it grew until the snow froze under the hedgehog's feet.

One of today's charity shop finds and given our obsession with hedgehogs, one we could not resist.

It is a charming tale of a hedgehog who struggles to sleep. Instead of hibernating he decides to see what winter is like.

We follow the littlest hedgehog on its epic adventure, in hedgehog terms.

Certainly rather cute and with lovely illustrations. 3 stars.

Not a terribly riveting story, but the illustrations are interesting (my kids thought the hedgehog's nose was very long). We do love hedgehogs though, so this will stay in our collection. A good introduction to hibernation and what different animals do in the winter time.

Cute story about a little hedgehog who was curious about winter. It traveled out during the winter instead of hibernating.
