Sam Olsen was looking to climb up the corporate ladder to better her life when she happened upon this great job opening higher up in her company. To her surprise she landed the position, but she also caught the eye of the reclusive Vice-President of the company. She was in for a lot more than filling staplers as the boss gave her a memorable orientation.

This is another of those downloads that I purchased simply because of the word ‘free’. I’ve said it before, and I’ll sure I’ll say it many more times, but I’m a sucker for the word free. I give so many books a try for that reason alone, venturing into genres I wouldn’t usually read. Sometimes it works out, other times it does not.
With this one, it did not work out.
In truth, a part of me wished to give this read a single star rating. However, I’ve recently read a number of other books in this genre that are… well, much more deserving of a one star rating, if I’m to put it as politely as possible. Therefore, this isn’t quite a full two star rating yet I couldn’t bring it down to a one star, as it wasn’t quite as bad as others I have read and given a single star rating.
It’s a quick read, one you can complete in no time at all. It’s also one of those sequence pieces, where we are given a section of the story at a time. I’m not the biggest fan of such things, but occasional I read one interesting enough to leave me wanting to read the rest of the sequence. Whilst this one does end in such a way that you’re left with questions, the story as a whole failed to pull me in. I felt as though very little happened and then everything happened.
It took 30 minutes to read. It was good. A new girl joins his office and she had an strange experience on the first day. The cover was really attractive and eye catching . With the changing plot up become more interesting. Characterization could me more good. over all it was hot and exciting!
Free-bee kindle read... Quick & dirty... It was ok. Not sure if I'll follow the series. We'll see... Secretary and boss kink. Pure erotica and fishy circumstances. Felt more like an intro than an actual story. Meant for one's pervy fantasies... If you're into the whole secretary thing... Goes something like this. Interesting to enjoy and not think read I say. Too short but ok. Do not dwell on depth or search for common sense in this one. Just...
It does have that going for it, but almost all of Flynn's stories are with demons. What's up with that? Demons are hot. They come from Hell. Why would anyone want to mess with a being whose job it is to mess with humans in really bad ways, ways detrimental to the human. They don't like us, people. Why do you think Flynn here was compelled to write his character as a sneaky Vice President tormenting his secretary?
Besides the fact that Mr.Flynn has poor spelling and grammar. I really hate that in a long book, but more so in a short book, as he didn't have much to edit. See Goodreads for my highlights if you want proof. Just annoying when an author doesn't take pride in their work!
Two stars for the sex. Sex alone, however, does not make a good story. I won't be reading anymore of Mr. Flynn.
This book leaves me with a lot more questions than answers. Who promoted the lead character, and why? Why does her supervisor hate her? Why do my breasts not magically expand and pop buttons off my shirt to signal my arousal? Should they? But couldn't that shoot someone's eye out?
Overall I just can't suspend disbelief enough to enjoy this book. She's moved to a different job with no reason, direction, or task. She and a coworker are hiding from their boss in a closet. She meets her mysterious supervisor and is horribly aroused by merely being in his presence for 5 minutes. She begs him to not touch her, then begs him to more than touch her within the space of a page. All that, plus just enough typos and grammar errors to make me twitch.
Clumsy, clunky writing style and full of clichés to the hilt. I downloaded this ebook for free - thankful it was free because if I had paid money for so few pages and such a terrible story, I would have felt very ripped-off.
It seems the author has a series of books, on brief inspection most seem to be well under 100 pages long, considering these cost £1.99 -2.99 each, I'd say by the time you buy enough of them to have a decent length story, your money would be better spent supporting better authors with stronger writing/editing skills.
Sam finds herself with a surprise promotion, from ground floor and to the top. This is her first day as assistant to the Vice president, and she´s got no clue what to expect. The first time she´s called into his office ends in no way what she would have thought.. First in a serial, quick read (free on AZ) and smutty fluff in a combo that makes me want to know more.
When Sam landed the job as an assistant, she was excited because now she could afford an apartment. As her first day was coming to an end, she is called up to her bosses office to takes notes. And that's when everything gets crazy.
Disappointing. Sam is a secretary who gets promoted unexpectedly, bosses are secluded & many don't see them. So you don't get any idea of their personalities. It lacked depth of character and a good plot - very one dimensional. There was no real hook to carry on reading. I certainly wouldn't pay for the next in the series.sorry
But weird. By that I mean it is not very clear what her boss is because he doesn't seem like a man. I'm not sure if he's supposed to be a vampire or something else. I may get more by this author.
Sam makes an unexpected job change at work. Her new job isn't much work at all. But at the end of her first day she has to come in the boss his office. What happens there is hot and steamy.
It also made me curious about what is going to happen next and what is happening to her?
I really enjoy this author. It's fast paced and short. It's good if you want to just sit down and read for an hour or less. Definitely getting the second book.
