Good storyline!
I loved the horses in this book! Great storyline but for some reason I had a hard time reading it, I wish I knew why. It was good with lots of action, maybe it was just me.

Miranda (Randi) Stockton
Hawk is part Comanche but has lived most of his life in the white world being raised by his Dad’s Sister and her husband. His first wife was killed by the Apache in a raid along with the rest of his family on the ranch. Hawk is a very good tracker and Sheriff Spiller has asked Hawk to help his friend Jack Stockton find cattle rustlers. Randi is Jack’s daughter. She is chasing a Stallion that has been sighted but not caught. Hawk sees Randi on her horse and thinks she is a boy in trouble, until he catches her. The relationship begins and Hawk starts looking for the rustlers. I really liked both Hawk and Randi, both were solid, strong characters. The search for the rustlers and the Phantom Stallion kept the book moving. This was a fast, fun, stand alone read. I would read more by the author.

Well loved
I enjoyed this book immensely. The plot was good and the characters was awesome. I liked the fact that Hawk was well respected and accepted by her father. I read Lone warrior which has the same town, sheriff and Hawk was in this book also before he went to work for Rand's father. This should be rated as a second book, with Lone Warrior first.

I’m definitely hooked! Bobbi Smith is an awesome author! What a wonderful story! You will fall in love with The main characters. The gal is a spitfire in which I laughed at quite a few of her antics! If I could have given more stars for this review I wouldn’t hesitate! All I can say is READ it, you’ll love it.

A good read. in fact a good 3.5-3.75 stars
Of course as Native/Halfbreed heroes lover, I loved Hawk but I also loved the intrepide nature of Randi. I found that there were lots of secondary cheracters with burging stories which didn't add to the story.

Bobbi Smith is awesome
She has delivered another great novel. Hawk returns to find his wife dead. Later on he signs on to the Stockton Ranch to find the rustlers whom are stealing cows. He falls for the owner of the ranch's daughter Randi Stockton.

Really wonderfully written
Romance, intrigue ( thugh not so much I need to put the book down while I calmed my mind. Intense stories do that to me). Not over descriptive, (I hate that)

This book I did enjoy it kept moving and had many moving parts, the romance between Hawk and Randi was pleasant and sweet. It wasn't over-the-top ridiculous as all the books coming out lately have been. I would read this again.

Riveting!!!
I liked everything about this story. It was very well written and I love Bobbi Smith. It's been a while since I've read any of her books. I'm truly hooked.
All of the characters fit right in with the story. Lots of action, romance and justice.

I like Bobbie Smith's books.
