Rate this book
When the man known as Dakota first rode across the Kilmire range, he was only passing through Montana, heading for Washington State. But the Kilmire brothers didn't believe him. They thought he was spying on their illegal activities. So the head of the Kilmire clan beat Dakota senseless. Then he was dragged to a stream and left for dead. But the Kilmires had not succeeded in killing Dakota. All that the vicious clan had succeeded in doing was creating the most angry, determined enemy they had ever known, perhaps the only man around who was willing to take them on and send them off to eternity!

Better be careful who you pick on!

Dakota was on his way to Washington State when he innocently traveled onto Kilmore property. The father and sons thought he was there to investigate their rustling crimes. You don’t want to beat up, horse whip, and drag this man behind a horse (a tough smart man) and leave him alive to recover. I loved his quick dabs and jabs and little tricks he used to humiliate them and get back at them all in the purpose of getting his clothes, guns, and money back. It was deploring of the father to adopt and make suffer two orphans because he was rejected by their mother. He was a bang up evil father turning his sons to evil as well. It has always been amazing to me how outlaws view them selves as victims when the people they have hurt retaliate. Victims don’t seem to have the right of payback according to outlaws.

Truth and justice prevail

Excellent story about good and evil. When good men stand up to evil, truth and justice win. It just takes one person to stand up and fight for justice.
