I liked the first volume of the series better, maybe because it was easier. This one spends a lot of time on things I'd be unlikely to ask, such as if rooms are available and for how much (we have the internet for that now, duh!), what kinds of fish are on the menu, "how old *are* you?", etc. At least I feel confident now in my ability to order a cognac (even multiple cognacs!), so that's a benefit.
Guide to hit on french chicks, english male is being taught french by a french woman with a smooth jazz background music, they flirt a lot and i have high hopes we are getting laid in volume 3. Volume 4 is probably a different french chick.
As with volume 1 it's a little awkward to speak the french part over the french speaker but i guess if you listen to it repeatly you'll get the pronunciation right.
This is the second volume of Rapid French. It is a very cool and fun audiobook that teaches words and sentences to learn French. This book mixes music and repetition in order to allow the reader to assimilate and memorize words in French in a very pleasant and unusual way. I like it very much for my low level of French! The only negative aspect and also the reason why I gave it only 4 stars is because is very short but fair enough! You should give it a try!
