I have been enjoying this series. I look forward to reading 8 and 9 but looks like 10 comes out next summer.

The suspense and action in this story takes off from the first pages as Private investigator Sierra Evans shows up on a boat to meet with a man that may have information about a missing woman. What she didn't expect was to find him dead with her stolen handgun sitting beside him. When the police show up they arrest her and charge her with his murder. Sierra didn't expect her ex-fiance, Texas Ranger Elijah Goodwin, to bail her out of jail. Now he wants to help her discover who framed her.
Sierra and Eli hadn't seen each other in five years since he broke their engagement believing she had betrayed him. As they work together, he realizes he still loves her. As they have to deal with multiple threats on Sierra's life, Eli will do all that he can to protect her. He also will need to protect his heart from getting broken again by her.

Reading this book at the holidays seemed appropriate. The book is not set at the holidays but the theme for me is second chances can be a true gift. Sienna and Eli don't make sense as a couple as they are polar opposites until you look deeper. Both are blessed with inner strength and integrity. Note the word blessed, there are minor religious undertones in this book but they are handled in such as way that they enhance the story.
The mystery seemed to take second seat to the relationship that needed rebuilt but that did not stop the action from coming. Sienna goes from being a murder suspect to multiple attempts to make her the murder victim. That author was very creative there making the attacks unique and frightening but also showing a grain of truth in the feeling that still existed between our couple. I loved how he raced to save her even though he felt betrayed. I do understand his feelings and don't want to diminish them but he should have communicated better. The mystery of Ruby's disappearance and the shooting loom large to push them back together.
Seeing Eli's brother and allowing his story to be put to rest was a good touch also. All in all, it was all about second chances.
I am new to Lynn's books but this will not be the last one I read. I enjoyed it very much and wish I could give the book another half star.

When investigating a tip regarding a disappearance ends up with Sienna framed for murder, Eli can't refuse her family's request to bail her out, despite the history between them. But when someone tries to kill her, it quickly becomes clear that she may be in deeper than she realises. Their time together as Eli tries to keep her safe might give them an opportunity for the closure they never got - but if their unknown enemy succeeds, they'll never have a future for it to matter. Can they work out the culprit in time? And when it's clear there's still something between them, will they take this second chance?
This was the first book I've read by the author, but I'm hoping it won't be the last. My one slight complaint was that the action was a little to constant (I would have liked a little more downtime for character/relationship development), but at least it was never boring! I enjoyed watching Eli and Sienna work out (or talk out) their past difficulties, but still more I loved watching Eli and his brother renewing their relationship. Some very inspiring moments and thoughts in both cases, which made a great counterpoint to the suspense and action scenes. All in all, an enjoyable read. Hoping to read more by the author in future.

This is another winner by a wonderful author. I've read all the books in this series and I have loved every single one of them. She is so talented at writing stories that are gripping and suspenseful and fast-paced.

When Sienna is framed for murder, her parents called Elijah Goodwin, a Texas Ranger. Eli and Sienna had been engaged until Eli broke it off because he felt betrayed by something that Sienna did. But, he never let her explain her reasons why she did what she did.
When danger threatens Sienna as she gets closer to solving the mystery of the missing woman and blowing the lid off a drug ring threatening their small town, Eli wants nothing more than to protect Sienna.
I highly recommend this book and anything written by this author. Her stories are gritty and suspenseful while being clean and with a happy ending.

This is a superb second chance romance that has enough action and suspense too keep you totally engaged until you turn the last page. Five years earlier Texas Ranger Elijah Goodwin broke off his engagement to Sierra Evans after she betrayed
him. So she is totally surprised when her work as a private Investigator leads her back to him. In fact when she is set up for the murder of an informant in a missing woman case he is the one that stands beside her and tries to prove her innocence. Soon the case deepens with numerous threats to Sierra and he is beside her all the way as she tries to not only prove her innocence but also find the missing woman, all while battling the local sheriff who she has shown up numerous times after solving cases he couldn't. Could she also explain to Elijah what really happened five years earlier and could they maybe get a second chance You will have to read to see

Sienna believes that the murder is connected to a missing person case that she is investigating. There were twists and turns, suspense, and danger as the two investigate with the help of Eli's team. Lynn Shannon did a great job crafting a wonderful suspense storyline.

Sweet second chance romance:
I enjoyed the mystery and investigative aspects of this story which was fast paced and full of action. However it was the relationships that really stood out and I liked the personal growth that we witnessed in the characters. Eli and Sienna made a lovely couple and it was fabulous seeing them reconcile and work together.
There was also a good Christian message woven throughout without it coming across as too preachy. Overall this was another great addition to what has been a super series and I look forward to seeing what comes next.

I love a good second chance romance and this was exciting and filled with danger. Five years after breaking up with his fiancée, Eli ends up working with Sienna to prove her innocence in a murder charge and also tries to help her investigate a missing person case. Can they have an honest conversation about the past and work together? Both characters are stubborn and really likeable and work so well together. As ever, the author takes you on an exciting, dangerous and romantic journey. Highly recommend this whole series.

Great read. I liked the fact that the couple in the book had previously dated - actually been engaged - it added a different aspect to the book.
The suspense was non stop and I didn't want to put the book down.
In addition to the drama and suspense, forgiveness was a big aspect of the book. Eli and Sienna. Eli and Dalton. And the issues of how different Eli and Siena were, and how they both needed to change a bit and see the other's viewpoint more.
This may be my favorite of the series so far.

This story takes you on such a journey and is filled with danger, pain, grief, sadness, regret, loss, hope, love, forgiveness, understanding, acceptance and facing your past. I enjoyed how it was all woven together and seeing where the story took me. Love this series about Texas Rangers, the last person the Sienna expects to bail her out of jail is Eli her ex-fiancé. When she is charged with murder and put in jail, she has no idea how she is going to prove that she is innocent. Eli knows that she did not kill the guy, and vows to help her prove it. When multiple attempts are made on her life, they both realize that they still love each other.

I love this series
This story was filled with twists, suspense and just the right amount of romance. The characters kept you on a loop trying to figure out who the villains were. Each one became a suspect as I read more of the story. If you are looking for books to read that will hold your attention from beginning to end, then this whole series is for you. I highly recommend this book and the rest of the series too.

Another Action-Packed Winner
Lynn Shannon doesn’t disappoint with this installment of the Texas Ranger Heroes series. As always, the faith element is strong in a daily living sense. I love that. The story is clean and the characters are different enough from previous books that it’s a fun read. Lynn Shannon once again proves why she's a must-read author for me. I loved Sienna and Eli's story. This is a 2nd chance romance and a theme that was subtly hit on which is original is that true love does actually take work (and forgiveness). In a lot of ways, it's... what happens after the happily ever after. I love that the story was action-packed, but it left room for story and character development. Overall, fantastic read. If you haven't read any other books in the series, it can be read as a standalone, but... the stories are good and you'll enjoy the if you start with the first one. ;)

Ranger Integrity is fast-paced, intense, and kept me at the edge of my seat. I love this series, and this book is a perfect addition to it! Each book can be read as a stand-alone, but I enjoy reconnecting with various characters from previous books and watching the various relationships develop and grow. I was kept guessing and now eagerly await the next book in the series!

This was a high action second chance romance. I liked the suspense and danger aspects of this with the law enforcement tones. It was a good mystery to Wade through and attempt to solve. I didn’t want to put the book down.

I've read several books written by Lynn Shannon; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.

Another great mystery, murders, drugs, solved by the Texas Rangers. Sinnea and Eli were the main characters in this story. Sienna was investigating the missing lady named, Ruby. Eli was on medical leave from the rangers due to him being shot and was still healing. Lots of mysterious things happening, enjoy their finding answers.

Hard to put down!
This book is a wonderful addition to this series. It's very hard to put it down. The characters are wonderfully flawed and loveable. You have to hang out just so you can cheer them on. The storyline is strong and solid. I would highly recommend this book to all. But don't just read one book, read the series!
