I have a passion for storytelling. I write in a conversational tone that is often described as fun and easy. I love my characters to be easy to identify with and feel down to earth. Most of my characters have a girl-next-door feel.
This Jersey girl is happily married to a patient man who has the ability to sustain long hours of rambling thoughts spilling from me non-stop. With the company of my two dogs, I set my writing schedule around their inability to coordinate their potty breaks. :)
I wouldn’t pick this up by cover alone. Sorry for whoever made this but it was really unattractive. If I didn’t see the genre it belongs to and if I didn’t read the blurb I would have not picked it up (and if it wasn’t free). But the summary got me, I like fake relationship turns real. I know the predictability aspect will come into play but how it happened is the one that always interest me. This book has massive potential. I would’ve like it better if the girl didn’t fall in love too quickly with the guy and the guy is determined to keep their relationship professional. I like to see the tension building up like we know they are attracted to each other but too firm on keeping the relationship free from complication. Anyway, that’s just my two cents, it already happened and while I didn’t like the direction it took, I’m still interested enough to continue. Hopefully a far better sequel.
Not a bad freebie but wish I'd just bought the series instead of reading just book one. The shorties are killing me softly. I like the story and actually want to read more so I'll fight it out to see if I can wait long enough for a sale or breakdown and buy the next two for full price.
I felt the plot was rushed. If this book/series would SLOW way down and let us get to know and fall in love with the characters I would have enjoyed it more.
