The first book by Victoria Corliss and Leigh Brown is a must read. A wonderful and heartwarming story that will have you falling in love with the characters from word one and so engaged in the roller coaster ride you won't be able to put it down.
The authors have found an interesting way in which they bring the past into the present and connect seemingly unconnected characters together. The choices several people made in the past seem to come crashing down all at once with the consequences of those choices affecting several others.
This book is a true gem in a category all its own. Love, family, adoption, infidelity, marriage, and the good and bad results of ones life choices are all topics which the authors weave together to create a truly special book.
"Second Chances," is one of those books you will keep on your bookshelf and re-read several times. A true hit from a wonderful writing duo. I patiently look forward to more amazing reads from them.
