A good, short read. It made me really sad for some reason.
The only thing I could observe was, the characters were forced into these boxes - the greedy, the good - the rich, the poor - the middle class man with a grey area in terms of greed and kindness was missing, so I couldn't really relate to most of the characters in here.
A very brief story of a man and his act indebtedness which he does owing to the mistakes done by his father. Crisp story telling by Sudha Murthy. North Karnataka dialect in between the book seems refreshing. One time read.

A beautiful story which could have made into 5 star review (its 4.75 as per me), felt it needed a bit more closure (don't want to spill the beans on the story hence not mentioning my thoughts on the end).
