I read book 1 of this series (When October Ends) and was very impressed with the author's talents. It was clear that her skill had improved with book 2 (Chasing). I felt that book 2 was very fast paced, in fact I read it in one sitting. It could use a bit more meat to the writing so I was very excited to hear that there will be a second edition released this year. Her first book, When October Ends, was just re-released and the improvements were astounding.
Her gift for storytelling is most impressive, especially when you consider that this book was written while the author was 14 years old. I am very excited to read what the 17 year old version improves upon the story.
