Belle doesn’t date. Not after her painful breakup with her longtime cheating boyfriend, Mike. When she visits a quaint resort in Punta Cana on a travel writing assignment, she only expects a relaxing work trip. But when she meets Ricky, his impossibly handsome looks and irresistible charm gets the best of her.

She’s always felt like an average girl, not a size 0 supermodel, so she doesn’t get how someone as perfect as him could possibly be interested in her. But he craves and needs her, and won’t take no for an answer.

They agree to just enjoy each other on their getaway with no expectations. But she can’t stop wondering what he is hiding. Will she discover his secrets? Or will they learn to live in the moment? Belle tells you from her point of view about their unforgettable, hot getaway.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Thanks to the author and her rep! :)

So the story is basically about a girl named Belle. She's smart and sweet and a talented writer, but she's supposedly ordinary. Her ex cheated on her and she tries to nurse her wounds. She meets the sexy Latin billionaire Ricky on a romantic beach and they're epic romance begins.

Personally, I would have liked more elaborate descriptions about Belle's past, her characteristics and such. But I figure since this is just the first book, it's just a taste of what is to come. Ricky remains to be a mystery and I can't wait to know more about him and Belle.

*** Please Note I rate short stories on a 3 star system.***

I was excited to be contracted by the author to write a review for this series, the synopsis was right up my alley. Therefore I jumped right in.

Now I'm at a loss for words. Seven percent into the book I had a passing thought the author made some edit changes by deleting some scenes and failed to restructure the remaining sentences to fit the changes. After all I do the same thing with my reviews sometimes, okay a lot of the time.

Then there was the part where Bella's purse was stolen. Her actions just didn't match what would happen in the situation even for a fictional event.

When I thought things couldn't get any more far fetched I had a wizard of oz flash back.... Auntie M, Auntie M. What a hoot.

Don't get me wrong there's some real potential for this short to be developed and become truly good. Keep I.mind I'm not author just a lover of the crafted written word.

***I got my copy "My Rockstar Billionaire" in exchange for an honest review.

I'm rating this 3 I enjoyed reading this stars.

The story starts with "ordinary" Belle meets extraordinary, drop dead gorgeous and insanely hot Ricky...it's pretty cliche right? but hey I'm not complaining, I'm a pretty ordinary girl myself and would love to encounter and kidnap a gorgeous guy in the future..yes..kidnap, because I'm not going to give him a chance to reject me lol.

So yeah what I'm trying to say is the book is an okay read but it could be better, I would appreciate it more if the author describes both characters in detail like how lovey his lips are or whatever lol it makes me imagine the characters more vividly though I think we need not to imagine any other guy because it's pretty clear that the guy is base on Enrique Iglesias :P

The book is pretty short I'm considering this to be more of a novella than a full length novel.

That inner voice was giving Arkham Asylum.
The heroine is so immature and unlikeable.

Title: My Rockstar Billionaire
Series: My Rockstar Billionaire 1
Author: Amy Aday
Rating: 4 stars
Cliffhanger: Yes.
HEA:

description

It all begins when we met Belle and she's on a Work/ Vacation trip which is awesome because her character it's really lovely even though her appearance issues were kinda annoying, then we met Ricky (Honestly though I thought at first it was Ricky Martin, you know the sexy "latin lover"), he was everything i expected, sexy, rich, charismatic, charming and many more adjetives but above all PERFECT.

Their story was amazing and kinda love at first sight, and the more I read the more I fell in love with them.

Things I loved:

* loved the writting... and the characters developing was great for a short novel.
* loved the Relationship between Bell and her Aunt.
* loved the story about a Latin rocktar.. (Is it possible the author is secretly in love with Enrique Iglesias???)

Can't wait to read the next one. Thanks to Amy Aday and Ara her VA who kindly given me an Arc of this book.

This is the first book I have read by Amy Aday, but I can assure you it will not be the last. She had me hooked practically from word one. I couldn’t help but identify with Belle a little bit. What woman hasn’t had their heart broken by a man who simply wasn’t worthy of them? Sometimes it can take awhile to get your self-confidence back, and the interest of a new man can go a long way toward accomplishing that. Enter Ricky; scorchingly hot hunk of a man who seems to only have eyes for Belle. Realizing they’re destined for no more than a weekend island fling, Belle decides to get her groove back with a no strings arrangement with Ricky, refusing to give or take any contact information. Their chemistry over the weekend is off the charts hot! Beyond that even, they really just seem to like each other and feel comfortable with one another. Even though it kills her, Belle sticks to their no strings agreement... but will Ricky? And who is Ricky really? Amy Aday has given us two characters that you can’t help but fall in love with and root for. This is an intriguing, hot, sweet, sexy, and ultra romantic book that you will not want to put down! Can’t wait for the next book!

*ARC given for an honest review*

Where do I start, this was such an amazing read even if it was short. It is part of a series and I was hooked from the beginning. The author knows how to grab your attention and keep you focused. Oh man the chemistry between the two & the sex scene will make you blush. Overall, it was a story that kept me going and I wanted to know more - I wanted to see where things were going to go.

Belle doesn't date after her last ex-boyfriend put her through a lot. She takes a job overseas as part of her freelance writer and decides that she just needs to have some fun and forget about Mike. When she gets to the DR she doesn't expect to meet Ricky. So now she has a week to spend with Ricky.....

Ricky has a secret but he doesn't want to share it due to nobody knowing the real Ricky. He doesn't expect to find someone like Belle and after seeing her he has to keep her for a week. Instant attraction and he just can't get enough.

The author did a great job on this story and it has a wonderful plot to it. I recommend to anyone to read. Onto the next book....

This is a fantastic story. This is the ultimate young women's fantasy. Belle has just ended a long term relationship after her boyfriend cheated and has been determined to never trust men again. Then Belle gets a opportunity from her employer to go on a free vacation to a tropical island what better way to forget about her ex-boyfriend. While she is enjoying all the activities that are available she meets a handsome stranger Ricky that she has a fling with. The chemistry is off the charts hot and steamy but Belle wants no expectations in this relationship since it is just a fling. But Ricky has other ideas and when Belle gets back home she is going to have quite the surprise regarding her vacation fling. I couldnt put it down. Can't wait to dive into the next one. You have got to read this series who doesn't love a hot and steamy Billionaire Rockstar romance.

This actually book 1 of the series. I don't know how many will there be but there are 3 that I know of.

In book 1, you wouldn't be able to really tell that Ricky is a rockstar billionaire but there are clues.
And Belle is the type of heroine who is insecure of herself plus who came out at a not so good relationship. Then, she went for a work vacation and BAM! These two met.

If you're looking for a sweet romance this isn't for you. It's more of fast paced instant-kind-of-connection that you feel is too quick but this fits the story perfectly.

There maybe a little bit need of character development since this one is short but you'll get there once you read the following sequels.

Although if you're like me, who needs some fast paced and not too much of the main characters going under some suffering then this is for you.

The ending is not quite bad. It isn't really a cliffhanger but it won't leave you contented.

I was very kindly invited by the author to read this story for a honest review. I will attempt that now.

I would imagine that this story would suit the tastes of many people, it is sweet and saucy. However, I found it a little too predictable and at times 'long winded'. I believe in leaving many things to the imagination and not to go into excess detail on particular situation (sex scenes, cheating scenes, and so on).

There were a few occasions where I felt a little lost and felt the thread of the story disappeared.

Belle and Ricky are likeable characters, (Edward is straight out rude and arrogant). However, I feel that there isn't much depth to Belle and Ricky's characters, that may change in the following instalments.

For me it is probably 2.5 stars. I confess to having a different taste in stories. However, I believe there will be many people who will enjoy this read.

I got this thinking it was going to be a great read. I'm disappointed. It has the potential to have been a good story line, it's far to short, it's far to vague and far to rushed to be any good. The characters I couldn't blend with, it seems pointless and predictable. The term milking it comes to mind, as this obviously is going to be a story spread out over a series of books, short chapters which are over prices, which end up costing the reader a fortune, it's a shame when writers do this. If time, depth and length had been put in to this, rather than rushing it and making it short it could have been a good story. Unfortunately it's anything but. Save your money. Sorry this is how I found the book. It's very rare that I give a low rating, I hate giving low ratings but I also have to be honest about why I rated it at the star I did. ( I read it start to,finish in 45 mins)

I received this as an arc for a honest review.
This is a short read and there is a bit of drama to it,Belle is on a work assignment but she also wants to take time to regroup herself after a terrible breakup. she finds herself going out on dates with a handsome stranger who seems to be very girl dream man so why is he talking to Belle and ignoring all these other gorgeous women that are throwing themselves at him. He seems to only have eyes for Belle and his friend/manager Edward doesn't like it. Ricky doesn't come out and say directly what he does but Belle has her assumptions after their last night together. But will she ever see him again after this work/vacation?
In my opinion there is not really a cliffhanger to this it does seem wise to read in order though. I would like to know what happens when they go their separate ways and how Belle can go on.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

I feel this book has potential to be a good read. I wish that Belle wasn't so insecure I know that she had a really bad break up and seems to second-guess everything which makes it hard for her to trust but she seems to bring that up all the time. Either MoveOn or stay miserable forever. I really don't know what to think about Ricky it seems like he truly has feelings for Belle and tries everything to make her feel special. But he's a little bit too secretive for me I don't know if he's doing that because he want her to like him for him not his status. It would have been nice to have a little bit more background on Ricky and I don't really know what to make of his manager Ewards I don't know if he is truly looking out for Ricky's well-being or if he truly has something against Belle.

I am a new fan of Amy Aday. She was in an anthology with another author that I follow closely. I read this book all in one setting. It was nice to read about a girl that was broken up over her cheating boyfriend but still be a part of the living and continue on with her job. She was sent to a tropical resort to write a travel review about this resort. She has a little trouble being social with a man that she met at the resort bar but decided that this was the best way to "move on." After all, it was just a vacation fling, they would never see each other when their vacation was over. I just liked the whole chemistry that these two characters had. Can't wait to see what happens when they return home.

***3 of 5 Stars for My Rockstar Billionaire by Ms Amy Aday

I had so much expectation for this book. I know that this is one part of the three. Though I was looking for some originality and that 'touch' in writing. This book didnt disappoint.

I just kinda feel like I was reading this story is cliche. I mean the entire plot is one of the many 'erotic contemporary romance' these days. I was looking for more. And I thought I didnt find it here on the first book.

I really do need to jump into the next book in the series now. I hope it'll be much better than the first one.

-I'm still recommending this delicious book to all readers outthere. :)

This is a quick read and very enjoyable. I was gifted this from the author.

I enjoyed this book and was sent into a dreamworld of Ricky and Belle. Nothing like going to a tropical destination and finding a hot alpha. Belle who has an opportunity from her employer to visit a paradise and a rockstar that wants to be just himself. They meet, sparks ignite and let the fun begin. No strings, no attachments and oh some hot sexy scenes. Then the time comes when they go their separate ways but neither one can stop thinking about the other. What happens next lets take a look at book two.

I would recommend this book.

I received this ebook as an ARC copy for an honest review.

After reading the 3rd book first I was eager to see how this all started. There is great potential in the author`s writing and it shows in her styling. Unfortunately, early on in the story I noticed a piece of the story was missing or misplaced. I was confused for a bit but then I was back on track.

I like the characters a lot but would love to see more elaboration on the main characters. My mind needs clarification as to why Ricky`s manager dislikes Belle so much. Nothing long or drawn out just the facts.

I will definitely recommend this series to my friends.

Received an ARC copy from author for a honest review. First book for me by this author and I found it entertaining. Storyline was written where you want to read the next part just to see what happens. Characters had chemistry and passionate interaction. Belle recently suffered a painful breakup from a long term relationship. While on a writing assignment and not looking for love she meets Ricky. Ricky is a sexy guy who doesn't take no for an answer and is extremely attracted to Belle. Course he does have a few secrets she doesn't know about. Book does end with a cliffhanger but can be continued in the next part.

This book is about Belle, a travel writer who is in the Dominican Republic to write a piece on the area. She needs this time to try and get over her cheating ex-boyfriend. She meets Ricky at the pool side bar and feels an attraction to him. She doesn't want to have any relationship but Ricky convinces her to just live in the moment and not to worry about the future for the time being.
They spend time together but she doesn't learn much about what Ricky does as he keeps deflecting her questions.
Looking forward to see what happens in the next installment.

This book had me really intrigued about Ricky. I really want to know exactly who he is. I love that he's a mystery so I'm looking forward to reading more of him. I'm not sure how I feel about Belle yet. She's a little repetitive in her thinking of being self conscious. I like that she's not afraid to take a leap of faith but the way she acts is a little off. I would like to see her grow a little more within the series. Overall, I like the beginning and can't wait to read more.

Very quick little book that is very easy to read, in fact very simple writing. The main characters of Belle and Rick are likeable but there is something missing. I get that the author is trying to create an intense mysterious relationship developing but i feel it was a little lacklustre. Belle wants one things then changes her mind then as soon as she sees Ricky she changes her mind again and again. No back bone and too submissive for me. Stand up and say what you think, not what you think he wants. Will read book two hopefully it will flow a bit better.

I was gifted a copy in exchange for a review.

The story had promise but for me it didn't deliver. If you like female leads above the age of 20 that still giggle, then this may be a book for you. As a female lead, Belle had hideous self esteem, and a really great job. She finds herself in Punta Cana writing about a resort, on a mini work vacation. She meets Ricky.....the plot kind of fizzles after that. You don't really learn much about Ricky, other than he has money and doesn't like to talk about himself. overall entertainment is two stars.

Great beginnings

Belle meets Ricky on a working vacation. She's a little broken from a bad experience in a previous relationship. He's a complete mystery. They agree to a "no strings" fling.
This book is a wonderful and exciting curvy girl meets hot, passionate, sexy man who wants her to distraction story. There are a lot of sexy, erotic scenes (yay!).
What happens when Belle figures out Ricky's true identity?

I started reading and some parts were left out. I was kind of confused for the most part. I eventually started back reading and finally the book came together. I gave the book a 4 star rating because of the missing scene which made me misunderstand what was happening. I enjoyed the book in its entirety and would recommend it but there is a part where you may be confused other than that I think anyone that like a good story will enjoy this book.

Well, I thought that it had potential, but it was a bit much. From the weird behavior to the way they talked...too much.
Then there were scenes that were somewhat confusing. I couldn't figure out if it was a flashback or if I missed something.
It was all too rushed for me. I really felt the potential, but just didn't get there for me.

Belle is on island getaway for work. She needs to be able to clear her mind if her cheating ex boyfriend, who better to do that with than a mysterious gorgeous man named Ricky. Ricky does not give Belle much information about his life, he just wants to spend as much time as possible with Belle. Will Belle be able to accept the mystery and just be able to enjoy herself or will her get scorned past make her not able to enjoy her hear and now?

I was given this series from the author to read and review and I must say I am so glad she did. I truly loved this! I like the living in the moment but I am interested to see how it progresses when they go to their separate lives...Edward seriously gives me the creeps. Belle I feel is like every real life girl with insecurities and fears. We all want the strong man to love and protect us. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review!
