These were brilliant glimpses into the lives of Amadis and Daemoni. Great to meet some new characters, follow Vanessa learning about the true meaning of Christmas and have Tristan's point of view as he tried to find Alexis the perfect gift. Also, the recipes sounded very tasty!

I always take notes when wanting to review a book but I couldn't with this book, it was a clear read through. Joy the first short story was gripping with new characters. What would break your Christmas spirit? The Daemoni try to use the weather to break the spirit of the normans below but it doesn't work. I love the description of Claire heading towards the cabin and how she managed to occupy it.
Miracle the second short story has changed my view of Vanessa and is now my favorite character, I can also relate to her. She tries so hard to follow and enjoy the festive season it is hard when it doesn't come naturally. This short story had me in tears and my coffee went cold. My favorite quote is "Damn, I was turning into Alexis" this quote may not seem like much but in context it is powerful.
Presence the 3rd short story gives us Tristan's POV and OMG you will need oxygen!! Fabulous writing skills from Kristie Cook again, she never disappoints her fans. We all ask ourselves what do we get our spouse or our best friend for Christmas. Tristan is faced with the same issue but he doesn't let us down, or Alexis for that matter. One of my favorite quotes is "I chuckled at the memory of my wife with the kangaroo. If Alexis were here, she would have hit me". I really wish this was a novel rather than a short story.

If you're already a fan of the Soul Savers series, the Wonder novellas are not to be missed. They're fast-paced, gripping, and will stay on your mind long after you're finishing reading.

The first story is about Claire, one of the Daemoni. Rather than taking part in the annual Random Acts of Evil tradition (the Daemoni way of 'celebrating' Christmas), she decides she's had enough of being given orders and begins to take charge of her life. Claire was more of a prankster than a malicious person and it wasn't at all hard to like her. I found myself cheering when she made her stand!

Next, there's Vanessa trying to get in touch with her better side as the Amadis prepare for Christmas. Oh, Lord... I've read countless Holiday stories but none of them have ever captured the spirit of the season as well as Kristie has here. If it doesn't bring you to tears by the end, I don't know what to do for you.

Finally, Tristan has a rather difficult time finding the perfect Christmas present for his wife. It was great to get something from his POV (he recounts their wedding night too!) and it turned out to be as funny and scorching hot as you might expect. The demands of war haven't done anything to dull their passion...

5/5 well earned stars.

Wonder Book Two Christmas
Another great stand alone from the Soul Savers Series by Kristie Cook. This book takes place at Christmas time and we again are introduced to some new characters. The first story is about the Daemoni and how they celebrate. They call it Random Acts of Evil, and that is exactly what they do! They pull tricks on the Normans trying to ruin their celebration, trying to make them hate the holiday as much as they do.
In story number two we are back at the Amadis mansion to peek in and see what they are up to. Newly turned Amadis Vanessa is trying to learn the meaning of Christmas and the traditions. In the mansion they do the Secret Santa, this is teaching Vanessa about kindness and doing for others.
And the final story is about our beloved Tristan and Alexis and how they try so hard to give each other the best gift they possibly can while keeping it a secret. And what is a soul savers book without a fight between the Daimoni and the Amadis! Pick up your copy and see how all of these stories turn out, you will not be disappointed!

This second installment of Wonder - is 3 stories based around Christmas this time. What I love about them is that they are short and sweet, yet action packed and emotion filled. We are being introduced to new characters, yet at the same time enjoying seeing some of our old favourites, including of course Tristan and Alexis. Their story as always ended up hot and steamy :D One of the more emotional ones was a story involving a Secret Santa, the gift they want for one person actually goes to somebody else, I won't give spoilers, but suffice to say, a very special gift was given and it was all very heart warming. And if you want to have a few laughs, there's the book involving a were-bear and a naughty warlock :D Kristie's books are always so imaginative, and there is never a dull moment. I recommend this book as I recommend all of her books, they are wonderful reads.

Wonder Part 2 is the short story installment for Christmas.

One of my favorite series, I was excited to learn that Kristie Cook wrote some short stories.

There are some new characters, and each story is different. What an awesome way to keep in touch with your favorite series that you never want to end.

All three stories are fast paced and so much fun to read. And since they are short stories, I’m not giving out much details. Although, if you love the series, you will not be disappointed with these short stories.

Get the whole Wonder series of short stories NOW!

I do want to say the story about the Secret Santa is very touching and humorous. You see the struggle and sacrifice that is truly present. It’s a MUST READ.

What a cute collection of Xmas shirt stories. The first story centers around a Daemoni warlock named Claire. She decides to go off on her own instead of doing the traditional Daemoni anti-Christmas celebration. I especially loved the second one - with Vanessa. I live how she didn't do Xmas well but like everything she got it in the end. The third story was great to see Alexis through Tristan's eyes and their gift to each other was a great reminder to appreciate the time you get with people you love.

I loved this collection of shorts!!! The book consists of 3 stories, and they were all wonderful. The first story was a Daemoni character story. Even though they are the bad guys, I always find myself rooting for them :) The second story was so cute that it actually made me tear up! The third story was my favorite. It was sexy and sweet at the same time! I love these short stories because it's a nice break from all of the drama. They are cute, fun reads and I really enjoyed this one a lot!

I loved this wonderful book so much. It was a sweet and sexy read. I especially loved the second story which was about a character named Vanessa. It was really heartwarming and I connected with her insecurities. It made me cry, but good tears. Each story has a great message about the Christmas season.

Another collection of short stories depicting the celebrations of our favorite Soul Savers characters. Told by an author who knows how to interest readers even in a holiday story! Beautiful job done.
