When Vivian arrives in the small town of Tofino for her best friend’s wedding, her own love life is the last thing on her mind. The winds of fate are changing, and soon she finds herself falling for the sinfully sexy owners of Breakers, the local bar.
Tucker and Byron are selkies, seal shapeshifters from the colony of Kismet Cove. Bound together by blood, the two of them are destined to share a mate. They’ve just about given up hope of finding her when Vivian turns their world and their hearts upside down.
Before long dark secrets, old wounds, and new enemies conspire against the three lovers. They’ll have to fight to stay together, defying family and tradition along the way. When trust is broken and forces conspire against them, can their love weather the storm?
Susan lives out on the Canadian west coast surrounded by open water, dear family and good friends. She’s jumped out of perfectly good airplanes on purpose and accidentally swum with sharks on the Great Barrier Reef. If the world ends, she plans to survive as the spunky, comedic sidekick to the heroes of the new world, because she’s too damned short and out of shape to make it on her own for long.
Writing is her joy, her escape from reality and the only way she knows of to quiet the nagging harridan of a muse the universe assigned to her.

I love visiting Kismet Cove. Beautiful scenery, check. Spirited heroine, check. Two gorgeous selkie heroes, check please! Ms. Hayes knows how to tell a story. Her romances always manage to sweep me off my feet and crul my toes. She blends the perfect amounts of erotic love and adventure, and makes me look forward to the next book. I must say, I enjoyed this story even more than book 1. I will have to purchase a return fare to Kismet Cove because I have a feeling I'll want to stay a while.
I love it! Vivian, supposedly the wild one of the two friends, comes out for her friend's wedding. She ends up quitting her job when her boss tries to cancel her vacation yet again while she is standing in line at the airport. Not again! She flies out & when Jess picks her up, she tells her she can stay at the cabin as long as she likes. They get her settled in. Jess takes her to the bar, Breakers, for Jess & her guys, Rory & Evan's party. Vivian learns a little about the colony Jess is staying in. Almost everyone there is a threesome. Since she told Jess to go for it in the beginning she is pretty ok with it. She never thought anything would come of it so she was kind of sad Jess was never moving back home. Now, with her job gone Jess had tossed out the fact that Viv could move here, if she wanted to. As they are getting a drink Vivian meets the 2 owners of the bar, Tucker & Byron & they both take notice to her. Byron discovers she likes old movies like she does when he brings some food to their table. He says a line from one of them & she recognizes it. Byron flirts with her for a while then goes back to work. He tells Tucker she is very interesting. He never believed they would find their mate, but he will take a look. Tucker takes her to the storeroom when he meets her trying to find Byron to ask him if he has something better than tequila up front. Tucker takes her to a storeroom to offer her some scotch from his special stash. He finds out she really likes it. They go back out because he needs to work. Later he dances with her and gets an interesting feeling from her, thinking Byron might be right. The thing is, she is human, this could be a problem. Although Tucker is already kind of estranged from the colony. He doesn't live with his blood brother Byron, he lives above the bar. It is his abusive, alcoholic father, Tobias that caused that. He drove his mother & other father away. No one would believe Tobias was that mean, but when Tucker was old enough his mother & father gave him all their money & left. He built the bar with Byron & stays there. Byron still lives in his place in the colony, his parents love Tucker as their son but he isn't coming back because Tobias is still there. The next day Jess & Vivian are working on decorations for her celebration when Vivian gets two gifts from separate people. Tucker sends her a bottle of scotch & Byron sends her roses with a can of bear repellant as a joke. She kind of freaked out last night over hearing about bears being around. She sends a thankyou to both. Vivian is the maid of honor, so to speak, holding the rings for the Jess. She sees the blood joining, not knowing what it is for, she assumes it is just a local ceremony. She isn't too certain about it, but if that's what they do here, why not? After everything is done & the Tucker, Byron & Vivian are talking, Tobias shows up. Not wanting Jess's day to get spoiled they get down to him & tell him to leave. He sees that they both are with her & almost says some things that might point out she is not one of them. Tucker throws him out. Tucker is going to come over tonight have date & the scotch in the hot tub with her. Byron is out of town on a business trip. Tucker takes Viv out on his bike & they order in a pizza. He is looking around the cabin & sees the book about selkies she has been reading. He asks her if she believes in that sort of thing. She tells him yes, her grandma used to tell her they had fae blood. She just doesn't know why Jess has it, it's not her kind of thing. Tucker feels guilty, they should tell her the truth if he & Byron are going to make her their mate. But to do that they have to talk to Darius, colony leader. When they are getting ready to in the hot tub & drinking their scotch, things start getting interesting. But one of the deputies come to get Tucker, there has been trouble at the bar & he wasn't answering his phone. Vivian says she will bring his bike back to him tomorrow. He rides with him to the bar. Two windows have been broke & his waitress was pushed around a little before his bouncer could take care of it. It was the bikers from the tattoo parlor next door. He has asked the guy next door to do something about them but he hasn't. They have been banned from the bar & his lease will not be renewed. Vivian returns his bike the next day wearing a leather outfit. The bouncer Mike thinks she is one of the other bikers & won't let her in. He doesn't believe her when she tells him she is Tuckers girlfriend. Tucker comes over & tells him who she is. He shows her his place above & she sees all his paintings. They hear of the big storm moving in & he closes down the bar. As they are getting more friendly Byron gets back to the bar & they go upstairs. They ask her to come to their Christmas party. Byron's parents would like to meet her. She agrees. Byron learns she doesn't know how to swim, he is going to teach her before he takes her out on his boat. The next day at the indoor pool at Darius's house, he gets her started. She learns how to float & a little more. Close to Christmas Jess & Vivian go Christmas shopping. When they come back, Vivian finds the cabin decorated & a meal cooked for her. Jess tells her to keep her heart & her mind open, because things are different here. Soon the Christmas eve party at the parents house comes up. She is a little overwhelmed although Byron's parents are happy to meet her. She goes outside to get some air. Tobias corners her on the beach yelling at her about being human trash. He almost drowns her but Tucker & Byron hear her scream. Tucker makes it down to the water & changes, as a seal he helps her back to the pier. Byron pulls her out. Tucker who is all wet helps her as well. They get her back up to the house. She is wanting Jess to explain. They had gotten the ok from Darius to tell her about them. They were going to do it tomorrow. She gets Jess to tell her a lot of it & pieces together more of it on her own. She finds out Jess is a selkie & her mother never told her. She wants to know why she never told Viv. She is angry that the guys didn't tell her. She goes home. They decide to watch over her since Tobias got away. It is late & she hears a lot of noise waking her up. She sees seals fighting on her beach. She can only figure it is Tucker, Byron & Tobias. She takes the Bear repellant & runs out to help. She sprays the one who looks to be attacking the one who was Byron & sees that one run off. Both her guys are bloodied. When she ran out she didn't put on shoes so her feet are pretty cut up. Her hand is cut & she touches Tucker's injury & ends up bonded to him. They all go up to the cabin. They agree to go to the bar, there is a better first aid kit there. After they talk a while, & she can Read Tucker's mind to know he is not lying to her. She agrees to do the same with Byron. They are all joined, that way no one can lie. She sees that they never meant to hurt her. She agrees to be their mate. Later they wake to smoke, the bar is on fire. The fireman tells them it was Tobias & he didn't make it out. He seemed to be in with the tattoo parlor guy, he had a new insurance policy. He is going to jail. All through the spring the bar gets rebuilt & the guys put in the new shop next to them. A surprise for Vivian. A hair salon for her. It's a great story!
Her best friend is getting married and the last thing on Vivian Waverly’s mind is romance – until she meets two men who just might be able to tame her restless heart. Selkie shapeshifters, Tucker Pine and Bryon Triggs are bound by blood and magic and destined to share a mate – and they want it to be Vivian. Fate may have helped them find each other, but the trio will have to break the rules, defy tradition and forge a new path for themselves and the Kismet Cove colony is they want to stay together.
Another wonderfully engaging and super steamy book in the ‘Kismet Cove’ series with strong, bold characters that take reader’s by storm. Tucker, and Bryon have some seriously electrical chemistry with Vivian but she’s isn’t looking for romance and has no plans to stay in Kismet Cove, so they will work hard and use their scorching hot wooing passions to convince her that they are meant to be together. But their relations also has a colony full of secrets and a deranged selkie standing in the way of their happiness.
Readers are captured hook, line and sinker by this fast paced story full of steam and thrilling suspense as they wonder how this threesome will work things out especially once the secrets out of the bag and a deranged selkie decides that a human isn’t good enough. Once again, readers are enthralled with wonderfully magical world and its stimulating traditions.
This book will keep you reading till the end. It starts off where the first book ends. You can read it as a standalone but to get a better idea of the backstory and the characters you can read the first book. Vivian is going to Tofino for her best friend's wedding, and romance is the last thing on her mind, she just quick her job and wanted to enjoy her vacation. That all changed when she met two sexy men. Tucker and Bryon are selkies, seal shapeshifters living in secret. They have been looking for their fated mate for a long time think it will not happen, until the took one look at Vivian and they know she was the one to complete their trio. To stay together there were going to defy tradition, as Vivian was human. Will this tear them apart? How will the colony of Kismet Cove accept her and them? A great story. I look forward to more from this series.

YOWZER! Just as hot and sexy as Riptide but throw in some danger in the form of a dangerous and drunk seal. Vivian makes her way to Kismet Cove for Jess' non-wedding, bonding ceremony. Oops semi spoiler if you didn't read Riptide. Well there WAS an HEA.... Oh Vivian wants to play with two men. She is not sure if she wants a forever thing, but hey this is the time for fun. Then she meets Byron and Tucker, holy crap on a cracker the men in Kismet Cove are hot. Byron and Tucker both felt a pull to Viv the moment they meet her. She feels like heaven and home to them. Now to just get her to take a chance on them and to stay. Of course there is an HEA, but the journey to get there is filled with heat, danger, and one pissed off seal.
I want to visit Kismet Cove and find me some hot men! Vivian is a pistol! Her character is the type of person you want to claim as a family member and a best friend. Excellent character development. Tucker and Byron are dolls! Their relationship outside social 'norms' are enough of a challenge. Add to the guys being selkie's, well that takes some serious mind freeing. Vivian is up to the challenge. The challenges this thruple faces are just icing on the cake of this story! Can they overcome their difficulties? Can Vivian make that leap? This is an entertaining, excellent story. It follows Riptice seemlessly. I hope there are more stories. Ms Hayes had an excellent depth of relationship understanding. Well done! I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
This is the second book in the Kismet Cove series and it is even better that the first one.
Jessica is about to marry Rory and Evan the two men in her life (See Book 1) and she has asked her only friend Vivian to come to the wedding. So Vivian has handed in her notice climbed on her bike and ridden across the country to be with her. She will decide what she is doing with her life after the wedding of Jessica What she doesn't expect is to meet Tucker Pine and Byron Triggs another pair of selkies like Rory and Evan who will also share a mate due to their blood bond. They want Vivian but can she overcome her insecurities and the secret of the selkie way of life to commit to the two men that make her blood hum. Will they get a HEA you need to read to see
Another thrilling selkie tale! Two sexy selkie shifters are enough temptation for Vivian to consider moving to the Tofino area. Tucker and Byron are blood brothers, although Tucker has personal reasons for avoiding Kismet Cove. I love that Vivian is brave enough to take a chance with these two, even though it’s beyond her social norms. Tucker and Byron are each strong and appealing characters. No romance ever goes smoothly, however. Some situations threaten to derail the affair altogether...or prove fatal! Read and enjoy - I loved it!
This story just carried me away. I got caught up in Vivian, Tucker, and Byron’s lives and love. Fate had a hand in their meeting, sort of. But between the chemistry, which is white hot, and the guys’ secret the angst is rampant. I really love this mythology. I love the characters, baggage and all. Most of all though I just appreciate the flow and style of this sexxxy tale.
A fast-paced shapeshifter romance that held my interest throughout. The two male shapeshifters need a female mate who accepts them both as her mate, they find her in Vivian. Things don’t go quite so easy though due to trust issues on both sides. This is the second book in this series and it’s a wonderful story with likable characters.

When I read the first book in this series I felt it didn’t live up to the expectations of the synopsis. This books more than made up for the action and danger the previous book lacked. I liked Vivian’s character she is bold and unapologetic about it. Tucker is the strong silent type and Bryon the more laidback one. They are a good throuple.
A great shifter romance... This is the second book in the Kismet Cove series and I really enjoyed it. With humour, action, danger, steamy romance, and a drunk, deranged seal, there is always a good time to be had at Kismet Cove.

This book starts where book 1 ends, but can easily be read as a standalone. The story telling in this book is incredible and paints a vivid image of Kismet Cove. There is a great mixture of adventure, steaminess and romance. This is an amazing read that is easy to enjoy.

I liked Vivian, Tucker and Byron. It was interesting to read shifter story with selkies as that is one that isn’t really written much. I enjoyed it and thought the characters and writing was really good. Very enjoyable and would recommend.

An amazing, captivating, interesting and oh-so-satisfying read! The writing draws you in and keeps you interested until the end. The chemistry between the men and h is amazing plus their attitudes and events going on make the story even richer.

I enjoyed this new "Kismet Cove" story! Very intriguing romance that definitely sucks you in. String characters and a good story-line. Vivian meets Tucker and Byron and things get real interesting. It's a magical story of fate, love and rules.
You meet vivian in the previous book and I was excited to see her character. This book is fun and well written. It is a tad slow at parts, but the other story is worth it.

Amazing! Kismet cove is a place full of magic and resourceful males. This books kept you on your toes as you went through the struggles of those scorned by love and searching for that happily ever after. Tucker and Byron had to fight to win over the troublesome Vivian.
I enjoyed this book very much. I liked chapter 21 and 22 the best. I reading about the fire rescue. I loved the sex chapters very much. 😀 I read like to read more books about kisnet cove and deal shifters in the near future. I liked the idea of reading another people minds in your head.

I have read many of Susan Hayes's books, and they are always a great read. Windswept, the second book in the Kismet Cover series, is another great addition in the world of Susan Hayes. I always enjoy books that have a little bit of everything, action, drama, and hotness. I was totally looking forward to Byron & Tucker's story and it did not disappoint. As we continue into the world of Selkie shifters on Kismet Cove, we get to know Vivian, Tucker, & Byron a little better, who all made appearances Riptide. While Vivian is on vacation trying to get away from her everyday stress and see her BFF, she was not expecting to fall in love, especially with two gorgeous men. Tucker & Byron are two selkies who follow their own rules, they still haven't found their mate, and they definitely were not expecting to find one anytime soon, until Vivian.
I thought Windswept was a great read, I definitely recommend this series. And honestly, I totally recommend all of Susan Hayes books.
This is the first shifter book that I have read for this author. It was a refreshing entrance into this world. The author does menage with a lot of heart.
It’s been a long time since I enjoyed a story so much. Ms. Hayes had me at the first page. I adored her heroine, Vivian, fierce, independent, and edgy, she had a killer sense of humor, and love for life that jumped off the page, grabbed me, and never let go!
The second book in the Kismet Cove series a well written story that kept me turning pages. This is Vivian Waverly and selkies, shapeshifters Tucker Pine and Byron Triggs who are the two men she meets and falls in love with The story has suspense, drama, danger, arson, villains, and romance. I enjoyed reading and I will be looking for the next book in this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
